Fun family day for 10, all age groups. The instructions were thorough, the horses were good and the guides were friendly. Buster had a mind of his own, Tiny was really nice and grandma had Jax who was a slow, perfect for older people, horse. I sang Rawhide and Old Town Road on the trail. I rode Mattie Lou, who happens be a kicker and kicked Gracie Marie because she got too close to her butt. I screamed out of instinct and that's one thing you're not supposed to do. But did I die? No I did not. The clips for the helmets required for people 18 and under do not work on most of the helmets like another reviewer said. My 16 year old lost his helmet mid ride and the guide in the back got it and brought it back to him so he had to spend time while on the horse trying to get it back on and in the process he lost his sunglasses. I wish they'd allowed parents to waive the helmets use. I understand little children but my son is bigger than me and we brought a 17 year old who is bigger than most adult men, so that requirement might need to go to age 15 and under, especially if the equipment is malfunctioning to begin with.

I cancelled my plans to go horseback riding at another location because of the weather and found this place, they were able to fit me in the day of and im so happy they did! Great horses, the staff was very friendly, and the overlook is something everyone needs to see at some point. I HIGHLY recommend this place, it was such a great time!

We took the shorter ride and it was a very quaint and smooth ride through the woods with Eddie leading the way.

UPDATE Megan Morgan left a message on my daughter's phone as if I had not left a detailed message…read moredays before. My daughter then sent a detailed email that has recieved no response. It is now June. My baby is afraid of the pool. Sees other kids going to swim lessons and asks if we're going to make him go back to that place and no refund. I don't know what I expected from a place that was so rude and wouldn't suspend my account when I was paralyzed from the neck down in a hospital 2 hrs away. I registered my grandson for preschool swim lessons. I registered him for intermediate instead of beginner so the Aquatics Director, Megan Morgan told my daughter(she's the one that took me grandson) that she would leave it up to the teacher. The teacher allowed him in. Great. He's excited he loves the water and wants to swim. Within minutes of class starting my daughter starts texting me. She said there were 2 kids in class that were acting up the teacher didn't get them under control. One of them stepped on my grandson so he started crying. The teacher picked him up for about 1.5min then put him back in the water between the 2 kids. She then told the kids to put there faces under the water to blow bubbles and bc he was smaller and BETWEEN the 2 kids he got choked not even having put his face under water. At this point he's screaming and coughing and the teacher is ignoring him while he's hanging on the wall. My daughter went and took him out of the pool got him dressed and left. This is a child that rarely cries when he gets hurt. Later that evening he asked his mom several times to please never make him go back. So in the span of 25min we went from having an excited water loving 3yr old to a terrified 3yr old that has had nightmares since. I left a message the next day for Ms. Morgan outlining everything and asking for a refund. I still have not heard back. I called the morning of 3/25/25. #chrisbryant #ymcaceo

I was able to get a nice workout in while he practiced and I loved that it wasn't super crowded. Yeah, it was a Friday so maybe that had something to do with it. The gym, or wellness center as it's known here, has plenty of cardio and weightlifting equipment, and there's several classrooms for group fitness classes and a room for cycling. It's safe to say that being s memeber here has its benefits. The staff are awesome and are readily available to answer any questions you may have. Everyone I've come in contact with has been friendly and the people that work here seem to really enjoy what they do. There's also a play center for kids to go to while you workout so there's no excuse to get moving! The space is clean and big enough to where you don't feel suffocated by others in the gym. They also have a fancy pool if you feel like practicing your butterfly. Need a place to workout???? Come to the YMCA!

Albeit a bit cramped still gets the job done. If you're trying to play basketball you're golden except the schedule is never correct. Expect to drive up there only to be told you can't go in to hoop. And they will push you out if you're already in the gym. Not a professional way to handle things here.

I've never done an online review like this but my experience with Discovery Point and their staff…read morewarrants it. I'm a new mom and when my daycare plans fell through while on maternity leave we were in a crunch trying to find a new place; one we felt our baby would be safe at and provided for while we were working. A friend recommended Discovery Point, she had used them for her two children and loved it. I knew immediately that was where I wanted to go. They're so sought after they had a waiting list but I went by anyway to check it out and immediately had that mom gut feeling that this was where I wanted my baby. The infant room is clean and organized, its not cluttered, it has age appropriate toys and not too many; how many toys do that age children really need? The infant room staff have been there for a long time and they made me feel comfortable as soon as I walked in. They offered to let me come by and sit in the room with my baby so she wouldn't be dropped off in a new place for the first time by herself, and this was before we even got called with a spot! At one point we felt like we needed to be at a daycare center closer to our jobs but we couldn't find anything that gave us a feeling of security like Discovery Point. We never left and I'm so glad. They made this first time mom feel comfortable about going back to work. I literally cried when I thought we'd have to leave and weren't finding anything like Discovery Point. They set the bar so high. My baby smiles and enjoys being there everyday and if we can't be there to take care of her Discovery Point is the next best thing (don't tell grandma!) I would recommend them to anyone looking for a safe, loving environment for their child.
