Another thing is no response when it comes to issues going on within the school. I've accepted this and although my child has been here 2 years they will no longer be attending IDEA. My child has gotten worse academically since starting here. Also, it's pretty much impossible to get your child on any sport team unless your child has been going to the school for years and years. My child was like a pariah here and wasn't wanted in any sports or afterschool activities. They would tell my child that I'd have to go and apply for the clubs then when I would go they would tell me the child would have to go which made me believe that they just did not want them in there. Think long and hard before bringing your child to this school. Also, if your child isn't perfect As and no issues don't even bother with this school. I don't know what would help to improve because this school needs so much help. Good luck to anybody who chooses this school to send their child to!

I couldn't leave them with my mother because she keeps herself busy and it would be hard for her trying to keep and eye on them and as she would put it, "They drive me up the wall!" That's o.k. though; I love my mother and I understand kids are kids and they do get into things. About 2 years ago she found this day care, Silver Spoon's Pre-School about My gathering from the kids are that they enjoy the place and a good part about it is my oldest child, who's already in school, gets picked up by Silver Spoon's from his school and they take him to the day care center. So all my 3 kids are being watched over while I'm still at work. My understanding is when my oldest child is brought to the day care center, he can finish his homework or he can play with the other children doing other types of learning activities. When I dealt with the staff in trying to enroll my kids they were professional and respectful. I really liked how they went over their policies with me and made me feel comfortable about leaving my kids their with them. An example of one of their policies is that "NO ONE" other than the parent they deal with can pick them up. So to me, even if my "ex" tries to pick them up claiming to be their father they will not let him take them and one of the employees will call me to verify any changes on picking up my kids and if they can't get a hold of me, well they'll just keep them their until I verify or until I pick them up. I love that! Overall; I love the that my kids enjoy this day care, because that's my number one priority. If they didn't like it I would have taken them out long time ago. Secondly, the employees are professional and informative. But I would have to say most importantly for me (my opinion), is the safety and security of my children. While I'm away from them and working, I know my kids are safe and being well taken care of by good employees and If ever they need to to contact me for any reason, I'm only a phone call away.

My…read morechild often had bruises and the facility would claim they reviewed the cameras and would claim they were either old (determined by their owner/nurse practitioner) or did not occur here. My child would cry and tremble as soon as we would drive near this place. This was my first child so I thought this was just separation anxiety but soon realized something must have been very wrong here because when my son was pulled out from here and attended his new daycare he loved it.

The staff at the Lilypad have become my village at this point. The way they love and care for my boy is incredible. His language, social and emotional skills are ahead for his age and while some of that may just be his nature, I am positive that The Lilypad has a huge part in nurturing that as well. My child is always excited for school in the morning, and he has definitely bonded with more than one of his teachers during his time there. I feel incredibly lucky to have found a place like The Lilypad for my kids.
