I knew from the day I walked into La Petite on Eckhert Road, that I didn't want my children any other place. It was an immediate reaction from the second I walked in the door. I was greeted by Kari, the director, and I immediately bonded with her and noticed right away, all of her efforts to make the facility visually stunning and very inspirational (go ahead and take a look in their adult bathroom) The size of the place was HUGE and the staff have always been nothing but caring and informative when it came to my girls. I knew if I had felt very comfortable walking into that facility, that my girls would enjoy it too. I'm a full time nursing student and my life consists of studying and taking care of my girls. When I leave them at La Petite I never worry or wonder about my girls if they are being taken care of or not. I KNOW they are. Trust is a big concern with me and my girls and who is watching them and I look forward to dropping them off and picking them up. You can tell by the staff that they take pride in what they do, and actually enjoy doing so. They always have some type of event going on and have everything so well organized from the list of upcoming birthdays by the door, the staff awards, and the flyers they hand out for special events. Much time and effort has been put into their schedule and environment. They hold their standards high and follow protocol, even if its a small incident, they make sure you are aware of it. My little guy is 2 now and has been at La Petite for a year. We absolutely love it. I'm so grateful for all the staff being so kind and caring to the absolute fullest every single day. They are all so attentive and pleasant; still smiling even after taking care of a roomful of little ones ALL day. They greet and send off my son by name every day from the teachers in his room to teachers we see on the way out as well as whoever may be up front. I think that shows a lot to the level of care and attention they give all the kids. One main factor my husband loved when we first toured in 2014 was the cleanliness which hasn't faltered one bit in the last year. If anything, it may actually be even more clean and sanitary now that it already was before. The online payment setup is super easy; also really easy to make changes to bank/card info, one time and auto payments. After a change in director & upper management, things have changed for the worse for us. There doesn't seem to be any clear communication between the teachers, management, and the parents. Descriptions of incidents we heard from management were drastically different from what we heard from the teachers. It's really hard to fix a problem when you're not sure exactly what the problem is or if there is even a problem. Our son was disenrolled after several incidents that, yes, he was responsible for but we thought we had a system set up to avoid such situations. We asked to be called when he didn't nap so we could come to pick him up before he had a melt-down. On more than one occasion, he didn't nap, and we didn't get a call until AFTER he had a melt-down. Again, our son (and ourselves) are responsible for his actions but we got very little help from the school when the issues arose. I would recommend that parents avoid this lcoation. read more

The La Petite at Eckhert is wonderful!!!! The teachers there are very attentive to the kids, they do thier best to handle all situations with care and make sure that the children are always a priority. I love that my children feel happy and safe there and they are actually learning in the process, the teachers go to the extent to teach our children and for that I'm greatful. it starts with the Director and then to the teachers, so overall if the director is a great leader (which she is) then of cousre it reflects to the employees (Teachers) and the surroundings of the facility. AMAZING staff! The director is so warm and welcoming, and will answer any questions you have. The teachers follow a curriculum that has really helped my son learn, he went from not talking at all to never stopping thanks to his awesome teachers. Not to mention that every staff member always has a smile on their face and welcomes us when we walk in and the teachers welcome my son by name, because they make a point to know each of their kids personally. My kids, now 6 & 3, have been going to La Petite for over 2 years. We've had a few incidents, which is bound to happen with children! The teachers handle the situation, call me and make sure the kids are taken care of. Ms. Kerri, Marlene and Dani are awesome teachers! They plan activities for holidays and go the extra mile. My son has allergies/asthma and they call if they ever have questions about what he can/can't eat. They also administer his medicines when necessary. i've had my daughter at La Petite for 3 yrs. My daughter loves her teachers and I like them as well as the director. The director is very welcoming & will answer any questions i may have. They are all friendly and show how much they care for the children. My daughter goes home singing songs from school and when I learned that she could spell and read some words, I was so happy. Her learning in the class and being excited to go every morning, lets me know my daughter is in good hands while I'm working. read more

I recommend this daycare for anyone looking for one for their children. My son has been enrolled for about 7 months and I am beyond satisfied with his education, learning progress since day 1. The staff in my opinion does a great job interacting with children and parents, at any moment they answer any concerns, questions. I take my child to La Petite on Eckhert. The teachers there are so pleasant. You can really tell that they like what they do. It is a joy to walk in there every day. The children are the judge. When I go in the pick up my baby the other kids are smiling and active. The teachers read, play & generally interact with the children in the way a parent would want them too. I can go to work and not worry about the care my child is receiving during the day. Highly recommended!! read more

I love that they are very concerned with my son's milestones and making sure that he is reaching them. They always seem more excited than I am. I love the fact that they are so nurturing. My husband and I feel very safe leaving our child there when we are at work.
