I'm not afraid of fishy but I fully expect lobster to be sweet and the bisque to add a burst of creaminess. It was very obviously not fresh lobster. For entrees we ordered the lobster Mac and Cheese and the Blackened Stuffed Flounder. First, the lobster was no less fishy in the Mac and Cheese which was bland and not very flavorful. Secondly, the flounder was a huge disappointment. It wasn't blackened so didn't have that familiar character flavor profile. It was soft throughout. Like a pile of bland mush with zero flavor or texture. I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't previously frozen and possible microwaved. To fail on all levels beyond the service is inexplicable. Sadly, this will not be on the rotation of wonderful restaurants to visit in the Kingwood area.

I'm having tons of fun playing great music with other like-minded adults. They have also been fantastic during covid with remote and/or in-person lessons and rehearsals. A great place to start living your best rock 'n roll life. Shout outs to Nathan and Garrett for being such fun instructors, and thanks to Sarah for running such a great school.

In our case, for…read more$300 per month (a contracted automatic charge to our credit card), the following was offered: -1 45-minute individual lesson per week -1 90-minute group lesson per week -1 weekend performance, approximately every 3 months, off-site (in our case, 2 songs were performed, but it involved a half- to full-day commitment by the time we drove, watched, and drove home) Our son enjoyed it, and his time there was beneficial for us in that he developed an appreciation for classic rock. We did experience what seemed to be some growing pains, and it was difficult for us to maintain the schedule due to other obligations that inevitably popped up, not to mention holiday closures. In the end, we got behind in classes and ultimately withdrew in the hole, no fault of School of Rock who tried to accommodate, but because of our busy lives. (Notably, there is a requisite 30-day notice to cancel. Be aware of this should you decide to enroll or withdraw.) Would we do it again? Maybe... if life were a bit less chaotic!

The bartender was very attentive to us even while she was busy running the bar alone, she even brought us some drinks while we were playing a game of pool(I won). The dj Charlie I believe is his name, was extra friendly as he asked us for a song request...I told him to play something by randy Travis and to my amazement he didn't gawk at me, he did however play Digging up bones which apparently everyone in the bar was also a fan of. The music wasn't too loud this time but I know when they have live performances it's way louder than I can handle. Didn't ask for documentation, tags or identification (all docs available upon request). The service dog was wearing his vest, tags and leash. When we told them it's illegal to deny a person with a service dog, they did not care. We asked if the owner knew we were being denied entry and we were told that the owner was the one denying the entry. We were told he could see us on the cameras and wanted us to leave. Texas law are clear on this and this establishment is breaking the law. Picture of the service dog has been added to this review. Not aggressive and over 10k in training.
