Our experience with this company was overwhelmingly negative. While the initial meeting with the owner seemed promising, the moment work began it became clear the project was plagued by poor workmanship, zero oversight, and a complete lack of professionalism. Basic prep work was ignored--holes, cracks, and wall damage were simply painted over--and painters were left unsupervised. They painted *before* completing construction, causing drywall dust to settle on every newly painted surface. Our washer and dryer were left uncovered and coated in dust, and despite promising to clean them after we pointed it out, they never did. The workflow was so chaotic that they attempted to install carpet before finishing the stair work and suggested staining *around* the new carpet. Construction continued after painting, forcing multiple areas to be repainted unnecessarily.
Communication was a constant problem. Workers showed up at random times with no warning, leaving us completely unsure whether anyone would be arriving on any given day. On multiple occasions, workers would arrive around 10 a.m., immediately spend about 30 minutes in the restroom, then leave again at noon for a two‑hour lunch--resulting in virtually no measurable progress on those days. Basic materials were mishandled: a cabinet we approved was never ordered, an incorrect cheaper one appeared instead, outlet covers disappeared or were broken, and paint splatter was left across floors, trim, and fixtures. Safety was disregarded--nails and staples were left exposed on the stairs for weeks, and trim with long nails attached was placed above the entryway, posing a serious hazard.
Construction mistakes were significant and costly. An exterior slider was ordered in the wrong size and installed to open the wrong direction. Instead of replacing it, they cut into our home to force it to fit, permanently compromising the quality of the installation. Workers yelled and used profanity in our home while talking negatively about us. We paid extra for a stair overlay to avoid visible nail marks, and yet the overlay was installed with visible nails--producing the exact issue they claimed it would prevent. Our tongue‑and‑groove feature wall was supposed to be stained per the original agreement, but the team painted it white without any discussion. It now must be fully replaced.
We were left with a non‑functional outlet and a large wall cutout for weeks, and were initially told the repair wasn't included. Only after pushing the issue did they finally fix it--and only after significant delays. A supervisor then showed up unannounced to declare the project "done," even though construction wasn't finished and only the paint portion had been completed. Paint cannot be considered complete when construction is still ongoing. We were told to walk the home immediately and list every issue on the spot or face a service fee for anything missed. Only after strong pushback were we given any time to inspect.
The owner refused to come to the property to review the problems or discuss solutions. Instead, he dictated how the process would go and instructed us to leave a check at the house for pickup. His attitude was dismissive and unprofessional, and by the end, we felt uncomfortable in our own home. The project ran more than seven weeks past the promised completion date, with constant delays and repeated requests for payment despite unfinished work.
Based on the consistent pattern of poor workmanship, disorganization, broken promises, and unprofessional behavior from both the crew and the owner, we cannot recommend this company under any circumstances.
