I had my son's first birthday party at Chuck E Cheese today. I had 3 separate parties at the same…read morelocation for all of my children. Normally I have a pleasant and accommodating experience this time in particular I had one of the worst customer experiences ever. The host came up to me and began with attitude re-taking the order I already placed on Wednesday when I stopped in to drop off decorations. I handled her with grace because this was my son's special day. She then put in my order. My guests began to arrive and I did not see my host. I went to place an additional order for the 15 adults I was hosting at the party. We returned to the party area and I went to the kitchen to pick up the food for my adult guests. I asked about the order for the children and she said it was coming up. I heard the announcement for food on the loud speaker so I gathered the additional children who were not at the table. When I returned to the table the host served three pieces of pizza and then walked away. I then asked the rest of the kids what they wanted to eat as one of my other guests helped with the remaining food service. I went in the kitchen to grab the large order of wings and an additional BBQ chicken pie and saw the manager and hosts bringing out Dippin Dots while the pizza and food was still being served. That was at 3:30 my party started at 3 to 5. I was then told that everything is on a time limit and the ice cream cannot be served with the cake and cupcakes. Again I handled them with grace. The children went and enjoyed the festivities. I walked back to see another child in the ticket blaster. I then asked an associate to please grab my host so we could go next. The host arrived and my sister asked if she was having a bad day just because of her demeanor and poor customer service. She then said that she has had a problem all day with our party and that she was sick of "You People" telling her what to do. I then asked if I could speak to her manager. While she proceeded to argue with my sister and other guests. The manager approached and was immediately on the defense. Before I even said a few words she stated that she was the BEST HOST she had...We exchanged words and she dismissed every claim against the host. I then asked for her card and she told me that she ran the place. My cake was never cut and the host never returned for the remainder of the party. The manager gave me the bill and we gave the rude host a $30 tip. Horrible service!!!!!!

Great customer service, friendly n we had lots of fun plus we enjoyed the free refills tooread more

My husband and I went for my birthday and had THE BEST time! Dawn was so sweet and helpful…read morethroughout our experience. Every room is private so it was just the 2 of us and they let you connect your phone to their system so you can listen to your own playlist while painting. They give you ample and quality gear - poncho, coveralls, gloves and goggles. And then they send you into the room with plenty of paint, 1 canvas per person and whatever else you ordered (paint bombs, paint guns, spin art, stencils, etc). We also got the bear pour as an add-on and I'm super excited about it! (Note that the bear can't be taken home that day though so we paid for shipping). You can paint wherever and however to your hearts desire. Our room also had plastic axe throwing and a drum with paint on it to splatter. I LOVE taking pictures so I also very much appreciated that they come in constantly to take pictures and send them to you a few days later. When it was time to go, they give you pizza boxes that hold the canvases perfectly. We laid down a sheet in our trunk underneath but it wasn't necessary (and our canvases had A LOT of paint on them so we we were impressed they didn't spill - and made the 1.5 hr drive home without getting ruined). It was a fun way to celebrate my birthday and I would definitely go back with my 3 boys! Afterwards, we did their target zone with BB guns (they said age minimum is about 10 which makes sense). I wasn't sure if we'd do it but I wanted to extend our day to more than just the hour so we went ahead and did it. VERY WORTH IT! Ron helped us and was a great instructor - very nice and happy to be there. We tried their airsoft rifles and then their handguns and both were very different and fun to play with. My husband and I went head to head making it a fun competition and it's pretty easy to pick it up quickly. Overall, great experience and really friendly staff!
