They have one of these here! And here are the official rules...I played multiple times and it's lots of fun.

Came here recently for a Men's Retreat. This review is not about the Retreat, but the facility. This huge, multi-building facility is right on Spruce Mountain in the heart of the Pocono Mountains. I'm not sure how old the place has been around, or if the original owners still run the place, but although the majority of the buildings I was in seemed dated and decades old, they were also clean and well kept. They have multiple buildings as cabins to accommodate overnight stays, and the one I stayed in was very log-cabin like with a huge stone fireplace, main level full kitchen, triple refrigerators, upstairs multi-bedrooms each with queen and bunk beds, and lower level more beds and bathrooms. Water pressure was nice, showers needed to be scrubbed better, and the beds included linens and towels were also provided. The high school-like gym doubles as an auditorium and easily held the 500 participants. The sound system kicked butt for the piano and guest speakers on the small stage. The gaming building had pool tables with decent sticks, air hockey for $.50, vending machines, ping pong, longboard shuffleboard, and floor shuffleboard. The kitchen facility was top notch and all food served was great. The tables were plentiful and kept stocked with the dolly of napkins and condiments. Serving as many as they did for each meal, the only gripe was standing in long lines to get to the trays to get your food. Still, every staffer was friendly and accommodating. There are also hiking trails. We took one up to the summit of Spruce Mountain, and it was quite the hike in the lightly covered snow trails and wind. The facility also has a workout room with a few machines and free weights. There is a zip line for fun along with a Snack Shop which I did not check out. The Gift Shop I did, though, and there was nothing special about it. The Christian metalwork throughout the facility was very pleasing and available for sale. Overall, this is a very nice facility which is used year-round. They have many different retreats including one for married couples, a Summer camp, and even a daycare camp. I kind of felt a little Dirty Dancing life in the Summertime Catskills, but had a very enjoyable time at Spruce Hill Resort. I think you will, too, and your group should consider coming here.

A nice and quiet place for church retreats and gatherings. This year is my 2nd year coming here with my church and I've always enjoyed it. A lot of activities to do such as mini-golfing, hiking, paddle-boating, kayaking, tennis, basketball, swimming, you name it. Can't wait for next year's retreat!

The owners Mark and Carol were more than accommodating, and they made us feel very welcome during our weekend getaway. The room was spotless and super cozy. We honestly got the best sleep ever as the beds were super comfortable. The included satellite TV service was a nice touch, as we were able to watch some good shows while unwinding from our day. The included breakfast was absolutely fantastic. Everything was super fresh and it screamed top quality ingredients. I had gotten the special with truffle and asparagus with home fries and it was VERY good. My lady had scrambled eggs with sausage patties, blueberry pancakes, home fries toast and she loved it as well. That same night we had dinner in the restaurant named Butter, and it was such a treat. The menu is extensive enough to have a variety of options without being overbearing. Dinner was just as amazing as breakfast, and EVERYTHING we had was top tier. We got a Tokyo Mule, the Sidecar, The Margarita Flatbread, the Lobster Campanelle, the Horseradish Crusted Salmon, a Nutty Irish dessert cocktail and an Espresso Martini alongside a dessert (I can't remember which one we shared). We devoured absolutely everything we had. Portions were generous and the flavors were out of this world. Customer service on the restaurant side was also very good. Do note that dinner isn't included in your stay, but I HIGHLY recommend trying the restaurant. Aside from all of the above, I can't overstate how good the customer service was here. Mark and Carol really made this place feel like a second home. The decor also gives that feeling, and it all culminates to being one of the best places I've ever stayed. Don't hesitate. Highly recommended!

Super fun and tasteful decor! Also very warm and welcoming inside as they had the fireplace lit with candles. We were instantly greeted by name and was offered a complementary champagne toast and dessert for saying we were celebrating! We ordered homemade ricotta & bruschetta, both of us got the porck chops, and split the cranberry creme brulee. It was one of the best meals we've both had. We are dreaming about that pork chop, had such delicious flavor, juicy, and decent portions! The mushroom sauce was also super flavorful with the mashed potatoes cooked perfectly. Our waitress was very personable and attentive to us as well. She made small talk and seemed very interested in our day. We would love to consider this place for rehearsal dinner when we have our big wedding in a couple years! Awesome food and place!!!

We stayed in Room 10 which features a king size bed and a large soaking tub. The bed was comfortable, clean, and the bathroom was sizable. We always felt like there was a lot of space to unwind and relax when we were in our room. We were offered the Fall menu when we were there. On day 1 I had the apple crumble French toast (AMAZING) and I'm not even a big French toast guy. Your table has fresh orange juice, water, and coffee/tea when you come down and get seated. Loved this. On day 2 I had the traditional breakfast and enjoyed it thoroughly. The staff was friendly and accommodating - as expected from a well run B&B. We were on site for a small gathering of gamer friends and so I also tried some of their offerings in the small cafe. I tried Italian wedding soup for lunch and got several hot tea drinks. All excellent. They have a small "snack room" near the main entrance that has popcorn, and water, coffee maker, and other small amenities to make your stay more enjoyable. Overall, this was one of the most visitor-focused B&B we've had the pleasure of staying in. It sounds obvious to say that, but it his place really puts your money to work to make you enjoy your stay. Thank you!

They even had a live singer performing, which added a great vibe to the visit. We shared a pizza while doing our tasting, and it paired nicely with the wines. I made table reservations online for $20 (you get to choose a 3 hour block of time) -- and while it probably wasn't necessary the day we went, if the weather is warmer on a weekend, I'm guessing you'll need it! Minimal food available for purchase, but you can do tastings, flights, wine by the glass or bottles and are allowed to bring outside food and decorations (just not outside alcohol). Price point is reasonable, and we enjoyed a bottle of Cayuga white while overlooking the vines and fields. Peaceful venue, not fancy and kid friendly (which was a plus for us) and we appreciated being allowed to relax and enjoy the fresh air and wine! My husband enjoyed the red flight -- and while not the kind of wine that will knock your socks off, it's an unpretentious place and perfect for enjoying with loved ones.
