We decided to give it another try recently and have been back three times. They have righted the ship big time. The service the last three times has been exceptional. From the friendly greets and goodbyes at the front door to the food we couldn't be happier. Tonight Emma took great care of us. She was super attentive and pleasant and her demeanor was fantastic. The previous two visits felt the same. We even met the new GM and to say she has completely changed the vibe would be an understatement. The food has always been great and now the service is equally as good. I have over thirty years in the restaurant industry and I can honestly say these guys are amazing.

I was able to come to have a team meeting and I was able to enjoy a dish of Voodoo Shrimp to start out and finish up with the Shrimp and Grits/Bacon. The staff and service was amazing and checked on us multiple times. Cannot say enough about them. The restaurant was also super clean and tidy so I really appreciate that when I walked in. The restaurant is in what used to be an Old Elementary School Building and they transformed it into a fully unique experience. The music in the background was soft and the bar and tables looked so nice. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling to or visiting Pelham to eat!

($10) I got cauliflower soup as my app and thought that it was perfectly creamy but I would've loved a crouton or some kind of topping that added crunch or bread. Crispy French onions would've also been a nice touch. I could immediately smell the truffle oil so loved that. ($15) Julia got the pork belly and absolutely raved about it so I had to have a bite. I tried it and immediately started nodding my head up and down. It was absolutely divine. We both agreed that $18 for this dish was a great value. I got the ricotta gnudi for my entree and enjoyed but would've loved a protein and acid component. They were well seasoned and I appreciated the layers of flavors, just needed something else to it. ($38) Julia got the southern bouillabaisse and thoroughly enjoyed. This was like a seafood stew. The fish jowl threw me off but she said she loved every bite. ($40) We sat at the bar, even though we had a reservation - which isn't the end of the world but I feel obligated to talk to my neighbor so I would've preferred a table to ourselves. It was casual yet upscale still. Definitely not the white table cloths I'd envisioned. They have seasonal menus and we'd love to visit again in the summer to try some of their items then. But honestly, we aren't dying to return in the near future.

James Beard award winning chefs, Michelin guide listed restaurants and areas around downtown that are solid and gaining notice! Hot and Hot Fish Club is no exception. We were able to get reservations at the chefs table and what a fun experience. While watching these pros work we got to speak to the masters and get recommendations on what to try and all if it was .. well great! This place has been serving great food since 1994 and we're located in the artsy Pepper Place district. We started with bread service and grilled pork belly appetizer. For our meals we had the Southern Bouillabaisse and the Wood-fired New York Strip. Both dishes we full of tasty pairings and everything delicious. Finished the evening with a French pressed coffee and a strawberry Cobbler. Truly a must go!

I made a reservation a month in advance to celebrate my sister's birthday. The system only allowed…read moreme to book for 6 guests, even though our party was 11. I called ahead and was told the reservation could not be updated, and that I would need to inform the host the day of and expect an additional wait time. One of my friends arrived early to notify the host stand since the rest of us were traveling an hour to get there. She was told the wait would be about 30 minutes, which we thought was reasonable. However, we ended up waiting almost an hour and were then told they could not seat us together. The host informed me they would seat 5 at one table and 6 at another. Keep in mind, we had a 3:00 PM reservation for 6 and it was approaching 4:00 PM. Because it was my sister's birthday and she wanted to sit with her three friends, we adjusted ourselves and sat 7 at the table of 5. The remaining guests were called to the other side of the restaurant, even though there was an empty booth for 4 right beside us. A lady in our party spoke with the Black manager, who handled the situation beautifully. She personally cleaned off the booth and had their server move them over to sit near us. That level of leadership and customer care did not go unnoticed. Unfortunately, the hostess at the front seemed agitated, and one employee even stated out loud that it was almost time for her to go and she was ready, in a rude tone. No one in my party responded, and I chose not to either, but it was disappointing. Now let me shift the tone. Our server, Georgia (also known as Jordan), WAS AMAZING. Absolutely phenomenal. She turned the entire experience around. She created a custom drink for me, guided us through menu options we ended up loving, kept both tables clean, and never let our drinks go empty. She was attentive, kind, patient, and professional the entire time. She surprised my sister with ice cream and sang Happy Birthday, which meant so much. We were literally collecting tip money like we were at an auction because we wanted to bless her the way she blessed us. I am 41 years old, and she is hands down one of the best servers I have ever had. Despite the rocky start with the reservation and seating, Georgia made us forget every frustration. Because of her, we will absolutely be back--and we will be asking for her every single time. Thank you, Georgia aka Jordan. You made the night special.
