Honestly the worst Porsche dealership I've ever worked with. I ordered my most recent car through them and I've had terrible service across the board. I highly do not recommend either of the Pepe locations. read more

I will start this absolutely horrific review by saying I previously had given Porsche of Larchmont a negative review about my experience but had taken it down after what I first thought was a rush to judgement and the possibility of being incorrect in my assessment. I now know I wasn't even close in what I needed to put into writing for potential customers to see. My car had overheated on July 13th. I had it towed to Porsche of Larchmont as opposed to my usual service center at Porsche of Danbury because of the location of where it overheated. After the car had sat there for a short time...I was told the engine would need to be pulled so that they could further diagnose the "engine problem". the cost to pull the engine would be around 5,000.00 to just diagnose the issue according to them. I was then given a cost to repair the issue which would run me about 10,000.00 total for the engine being removed and repairs. After another several weeks of waiting and my repeated attempts at calling them and leaving messages (none of which were ever returned), I finally called and refused to leave a message and stayed on hold until Ryan, who initially spoke to me, got on the phone and said that they never really pulled the engine, even though they said they needed to, and quoted me for repairs including the engine having already been pulled to diagnose the problem. He then said they "would really have to pull the engine now" and the cost to repair the car could be around 27,000.00. I never had an engine light come on...the car overheated and now I was being quoted 27000.00 more for repairs. I told them to put the car back together and I would have it towed to Porsche of Danbury. After having the car brought to Porsche after 6 weeks of ineffective care at Porsche of Larchmont, the water pump was replaced, and I was told the car was good to go. I drove it off the lot but heard something strange and returned it. They said they would take another look. I was headed out of town for two weeks and told them there was no rush in getting the car repaired( I only offer this information because Porsche of Larchmont is questioning the length of time for Danbury to do repairs even though Larchmont Porsche never fixed the car or returned calls for 6 weeks). When I returned, they called me and said the problem was that the repair work done at the Larchmont Porsche was done improperly and parts were put into the engine in reverse and that once Danbury repaired and replaced a defective part installed by the Larchmont location, the car is now in perfect running order. I will post the email from Porsche of Danbury at the bottom of this review. When I spoke to the service manager at Porsche of Larchmont over the past week...he questioned whether Porsche of Danbury was being forthright and denying the faulty work done by his own mechanic...he even said that if the parts he put in the car were defective...that they should be covered under warranty...completely ignoring the fact that work needed to be done to reinstall the non-defective parts that were installed improperly by his mechanic...only questioning whether the Danbury Porsche dealer was being honest. I now will be taking the Porsche of Larchmont dealership to small claims court to recoup all of the money they charged me at their location and the additional money charged by Porsche of Danbury to correct the faulty work performed by Larchmont...DO NOT GO HERE! Btw...I posted this review on another site and they responded...what they said goes contrary to all the evidence presented...they had no photos they provided...and the issue with the Danbury Porsche work is all for labor for the improper installation by the Larchmont dealer, not to mention that there was never an engine light and they supposedly had one. They don't even mention their absurd estimates they gave or the fact they never removed the motor although tried to charge me for such before getting caught and admitting they never did so. I would have responded there but had limited space there. Here is the email from Porsche of Danbury... Hi Mr. S, Please see attached pictures of your 2008 911 Turbo repair as discussed. We confirmed both camshaft adjustment solenoids were replaced at Porsche Larchmont. During further diagnosing/disassembly based on the fault that we had we found the passenger side bank 2 camshaft solenoid was installed in the incorrect orientation (180 degrees off) causing oil starvation to the bank 2 camshaft adjuster. You'll see the "alignment pin" on the camshaft solenoid crushed due to the improper installation. If you have any further questions on this please let me know. Thank you read more

I visited Porsche of Larchmont to get a DME analysis and report. The appointment process by telephone was smooth and painless. I used their appointment webpage to change the date of the appointment and this process was also smooth and painless. As I drove to the dealership, I noticed that the entry to the parking lot was almost flat to the ground with virtually no rising slope against which low-to-the-ground sports cars can scrape. Most dealers, including Porsche and BMW dealers, have driveways with steep angles that will scrape against the front of any sports car that is close to the ground. So this was a nice touch. The service entrance was easy to access. It was clean and comfortable with a great selection of coffee and other complimentary drunks. Upon entry, I was greeted by a friendly service representative, who took care of all paperwork while a technician analyzed my car. I visited the sales area while my car was being examined and I noticed how the sales floor was packed with current Porsche models (GT3 RS anyone?) as well as a few well-maintained older classic Porsches. Total eye candy for a car enthusiast... The sales staff was ready to assist me if I needed but they did not make any pushy sale pitches. The DME analysis was done quickly and I received the report shortly thereafter. The only shock I received was when I asked about the cost of the analysis and the report. They told me that the work was complimentary and I didn't have to pay anything! Based on my experience with this dealership, Porsche of Larchmont has become one of my all-time favorite car dealerships and I will make sure I visited it for my next Porsche purchase and service needs. read more

For distance buyers considering using Porsche Larchmont... take caution! A 911 has always been on my bucket list since I was a little kid and ultimately began my pursuit of "just the right one" about a year and a half ago. Finding the right 911 is part of the fun and my tolerance to new-car depreciation led me to search for the perfect certified preowned version. I found the right one at Porsche Larchmont in New York and being in St. Louis, began to pursue a relationship with the dealer. After becoming comfortable with the state of the vehicle, the dealer and I cosigned a deal cementing my dream. Or so I thought. At this point, the dealer began behaving weirdly... they didn't take the car down from their website, all the paperwork had wrong values, there were extraordinary delays in sending material to sign (weeks), and then they ultimately suggested that Porsche Finance wouldn't approve the deal unless I signed in person. Normally this would be no problem and I would fly there, however with COVID, flights were limited and I was risk adverse to traveling to the New York COVID hotspot. None of this made sense to me so I ended up calling both Porsche Cars North America and Porsche Finance's support line to get clarity on the situation. Both asserted that they do NOT require in-person signing and in the COVID environment are actually encouraging remote documentation signatures. I also talked to several other Porsche dealerships in the New York and St. Louis areas and they corroborated Porsche Cars North America and Porsche Finances' policy. After addressing with the Larchmont Sales Manager Slywester and my Sale Associate Greg, they continued to deny the Porsche Finance's policy. They ultimately stopped responding to my various communications looking for clarity on the situation even though we had cosigned the deal. I later found out that they had a more lucrative local buyer lined up and were doing everything they could to get me to go away without saying it, up to and including breaching the contract that we had jointly signed and is legally binding in the state of New York. Not only is this unethical and illegal, but it betrayed my trust that I thought we established remotely and that I expected of a car manufacture of this caliber. My hope is that others don't suffer the same unfortunate experience that I had and I'd be happy to email directly with others to share all the data I've captured justifying my experience. Larchmont has shattered my faith in Porsche Dealerships and certainly has me reconsidering my bucket list. read more

I bought a Porsche macan at this dealership on 4/30/22 for my mother for Mother's Day. Rafael rios was the sales person who assisted me with this. vehicle is certified pre owned with 10k miles on it. 3 weeks after the purchase the car showed a brake error message. I contacted Rafael about this issue who advised to give him till Tuesday 5/31/22 to discuss with the service team as it was a holiday weekend. On Wednesday a lady from service called who told me they can't get to the car till 6/16 and no loaner till 6/30. I asked how would she expect her to get around without a car her response: "well I don't know what to tell you but that's all we have" after a wasted exchange I asked to speak to their manager dom who called a few days later still without a resolution. I can't understand why I should be paying for car service or rental and tow after buying a car from a "reliable" dealership. Very disappointed and frustrated with this experience so far. They still haven't picked up the car to repair im juat waiting in limbo at this point. Definitely a horrible experience so far read more

Overall, poor. Which is disappointing because the negotiations begin with such promise. There simply was no follow through. However, they have perfected the art of the run around. So, if that's what you're looking for, this is your shop. Highlights of my experience include: -Having to wait for more than an hour long despite having scheduled delivery of my vehicle more than a week in advance -Dealer provided temp tags expired 11-days ago; no one can tell me when my permanent tags will be delivered -they agreed to perform a routine service prior to taking delivery of a 2014 vehicle; I just paid Porsche of Cherry Hill - a dealer I highly recommend - $440 to complete the very service Porsche of Larchmont agreed to perform as a condition of the sale In short, I was swayed by Larchmont having the car I wanted in stock. I should have stuck by my local dealer. Learn from my mistake. read more

I would recommend their technician Jamie if you want to have your air cooled 993 evaluated particularly any electrical issues. He was the first to recommend & correctly diagnose my relay/fuse box to be replaced. A couple other shops and one well known independent completely dismissed! read more

I purchased my Certified 2018 Porsche Cayenne last week from this dealership. I was somewhat shocked by the gender bias I encountered from the initial visit to my follow up after purchase visit by the salesman. My husband visited to test drive the vehicle prior to the actual purchase, and to my surprise, he was treated totally different. Not everyone I encountered treated me with this obvious gender bias. I applaud the Finance Manager John Kaplan for his friendliness, professionalism and expediency. I was also impressed with Peter Boffoli, Service Manager for taking time to address all my questions regarding the warranty and future service appointments. He gave me his card to call him personally if the need arises. As a first time purchaser of this beautiful vehicle, my sales experience should have left me feeling a lot better than I do. read more

I first contacted Porsche Larchmont in late 2019 about purchasing my dream vehicle, a 718 Cayman GT4. Since I was a young child, I have been an avid car enthusiast, and owning a yellow Porsche and a red Ferrari at some point in my lifetime were both bucket list items for me. Coming from owning 3 BMW M cars in the past, I was used to the experience working with my preferred BMW dealer, and wasn't sure what to expect with Porsche. I had interactions with Ashley Harris (General Manager), Sylwester (Sales manager), and Pedro DeAraujo (Sales Representative) throughout this process, and I can unequivocally say that the experience with each of them was consistently one of professionalism. There were certainly a couple of points through the process where we hit challenges, but each time Pedro (and his leadership) was patient, extremely responsive, understanding, professional, and always found an amicable and fair resolution to the situation at hand. To me, this is a great testament to a dealership that is looking to build long-term sustainable relationships vs. selling these often limited quantity Porsches with a short-term, profit maximizing perspective. Especially on the day of finalizing the paperwork and taking delivery of the vehicle, the dealership was at its finest. They had all the paperwork prepared and signing paperwork took all of 5 minutes (which was much needed for me with 2 toddlers accompanying us!). On the day of delivery, as any good sales rep would, Pedro left a couple of tricks in the bag to make the experience even more special for me. This is the best experience I've had with the handful of Porsche dealers I've visited, and it was truly a pleasurable car-buying experience! read more

I purchased a vehicle in April from Gary Minsky of Porsche of Larchmont. its been 3 months since my vehicle purchase , and my temporary plates have been expired for 2 months now ! I called the DMV to see where they were in the process and to my surprise they haven't even begun it ! They also informed me that the dealer only has 30 days to initiate this process after that it is up to me. Not 1 email or 1 letter in the mail about it at all . This is unacceptable service from a Porsche dealer . I do not want to wait for them to drag their feet in this process anymore , I will be writing a letter to the attorney general. read more

After hearing from Greenwich Porsche that "all cars are a little off" I'm glad I went to Larchmont. They clearly understand that nothing should be "off" on a Porsche...very refreshing approach from any dealer...unfortunately most just try to get cars in and out as fast as possible. For some reason this dealership doesn't care about making appointments saying they have parts, making you take time off from work, then say sorry we don't have the part. Small showroom but they have a pretty healthy inventory of nice models... lots of turbo's, 4s' and occasionally a 918. Growing up I always wanted a Porsche. I would hear the engines rev and I would immediately turn my head knowing a Porsche was near whether I was in a playground or with my family on the highway. I'd always drive by the showroom to see the newest cars in the bright new colors hoping one day I'd be able to call one my one. At 33 years old I've lived the practical life- raising a family in the suburbs. Owning a Porsche was the one thing I wanted to make happen, throwing practicality up in the wind. So I bought a used 911 Carrera 4 as my train station car. One of my fears has been getting it serviced by an official Porsche dealership because of cost. Ultimately, I know it's the right thing to do to alleviate any concerns. I was fortune to meet Vinnie Greco in service at Porsche Larchmont. He was great- presenting me with options to keep me safe while also being mindful that I was not driving a car worth $100k+. On a Saturday morning, Vinnie and Jason (Parts) walked me through the options to purchase winter tires and new rims for the Porsche- and also ordered the wheel lock key which was not presented to me during the sale of the car at another dealer. All in all, I though the pricing was very fair and the service was sensational. I will be back for regular services moving forward and hope to one day make a purchase at the Porsche Larchmont dealership as well. read more

Today my wife had her car serviced by the dealership. They picked up the car did the work and returned the car back in our driveway with out so much as a phone call. To make matters worst they left the car open and put the keys under the car mat. When she got home she had to call the service dept to find out where they left the keys. Who does that without even calling the customer. Every time my wife has her car serviced at Porsche it one MISCOMMUNICATION after another. Save your time and go to another dealership that knows the definition of customer service. read more

I recently had my 2003 Boxster S with 13,000 original miles in for service and Bill and his technicians gave me yet another perfect report. The professionalism of the entire service department is second to none. Courteous timely and professional service at a reasonable price, at least for factory trained Porsche mechanics, is all that you can ask for, but Bill and his team gives you more. You get the security that the job is being done right, the first time and every time. If you haven't tried Bill and his service team at Pepe, please do so before winter hits. Your love for your car and for the Porsche mark will be nothing short of resurrected. read more

What a nightmare! the absolute worse experience Initially brought my 05, 911 in for inspection upon entering the shop the service Manager Bill Bologna greets me admiring the pristine condition of my car and low mileage. All goes well I gave them great review thru Porsche survey. On my second visit 7/17/2017 for an error message, same process as first visit pictures are taken prior to any work started on the car as usual. The service adviser recognizes me and my car we go over details although my car was clean I requested and Chris noted on service ticket in my presence in large letters "DO NOT WASH" all is well so far. About 2 hours later I receive a call from Chris with Tech findings, I agree to repair but was informed part would need to be ordered will arrive next day, repair will be complete my 911 would be ready for pick up. I reminded Chris of my request not to clean my car and do not leave outdoors as my car is garage kept which is demonstrated by its condition. Following day no call from Chris or Porsche of Larchmont. so around 12pm I call and was informed Chris is on another line and would call me back, this happened on three attempts. Next day Saturday 7/18 same story unable to contact Chris I was either told he would return my call or transferred to his voice mail. Monday am comes I'm in limbo, finally reached Bill Bologna who tells me Chris was let go Friday for not following up with customers (which afterwards I realized Bill is guilty of the same crime) So my obvious question was why was I continually told Chris would call back or transferred to his voice mail. Response was because they are attempting to catch up... Fine, Bill informs me the parts did arrive but not installed. I asked where has my car been stored since it poured rain over the weekend, he replies in a low tone outdoors. Of course I lost it mentioning my request and how Chris documented in my presence. 100 excuses//apologies later he promised to have it completed first thing in the am and he would personally call to confirm. I replied I can only imagine the condition of my car but DO NOT WASH THE CAR! To my surprise next day no call from the service manager at this point I'm very worried left work early headed straight to Porsche of Larchmont. I find my car in the front lot. I go in to speak with Bill for an explanation but of course he was gone for the day. After paying for service I inspected my car and found mud and dirt was everywhere this was a car that was never out in the rain. As I continue to look I found scratched, hood chips, mud inside the front cabin and damage to front spoiler. I immediately go back in and find Peter, (Chris's replacement) I pointed out the damages and he didn't know what to do so he got Vinny Greco involved (Service adviser) his jaw practically drops and starts apologizing and mentions "I recall your car and don't blame you for being upset I'm the same way with my car" He instructs Peter to take pictures of all damages, signs my service ticket "saw scratches on vehicle that were not there on drop off" said he would make/forward report to good O'l Bill B. which would call me in the am. Guess what, no call from Bill. After a combine 15 calls to Bill, Peter, Vinny I finally involve Porsche headquarters providing before and after pictures and mentioned all that needs to be done is look at before service pictures taken when I initially arrive at Larchmont the first and second time for comparison and zoom in to the damage areas. A week later Bill calls upset that I involved Porsche said he would be willing to rectify only two scratches and requested an estimate just to put an end to the situation I emailed him an estimate 2 days later. A week an multiple unanswered calls later I reach out to the COO of Pepe Auto Group Joe Pepe but would only get his secretary Helen who took my information and complaint. next day Bob Pepe (Porsche of Larchmont GM) calls me agreeing to cover cost. I make arrangements with body shop but no one from Porsche returned calls to confirm payment so I'm back to square one. Again unsuccessful calls. Pepe Auto Group shady from top down. read more

Got a flat on my 911 and selected this dealer cause it was closest to my home. Was a little worried about leaving car in the empty lot and leaving the key in the Dropbox but car was fine. They won't repair a tire only replace. Cost was close to 500 for a 305 rear tire. It cost to the boss. read more

After purchasing 5 cars from this place I'd expect some customer loyalty. I've been overcharged and lied to. My new 911 was delivered with the wrong wheels and they've done nothing about it yet. They charge me anyways for tires that are covered under tire protection. It's a nickel and dime operation. I don't care about the small amounts but it's just taking advantage. I'm taking my business elsewhere. read more

I purchased a 2006 Cayman from Larchmont in late September '16. I had gone to another dealer and found no-one was really interested spending time on anything but new models. I went to Larchmont and Doug and John set me up with a proper test drive, spent time going over everything with the car, paperwork, and gave a fair deal. I was anticipating a long process going to many dealers and having to work hard to find the right car, price and service, but these guys were seriously great. Anyone that brings their car to Larchmont Porsche should beware. I recently had my 20,000 mile check up and the wipers were not replaced which is part of the check up. The noise in my rear is still there. I told the girl keeping my car was not an option, and at 5pm I realized they hadn't called. I called Porsche and they hadn't done a thing. The girl on the phone was only interested in me, getting there by 6pm. The service manager was gone. I asked that they inspect the car, not even that was done. "CLOSE IT UP'!!!! read more

If there was a minus rating; that's what I would give Porsche of Larchmont . This review is in behalf of my mother who called me in near tears when she was asked to leave the dealership. My mother is in her 70s and brought her Porsche in for a regular checkup. There was nothing major wrong with the car . When she brought the car in, their service manager , Bill Bologna told her that the car need major work and that the engine was failing! The cost they quoted was over 7k! She had just driven the car over the weekend and it drove like a dream. We took it to another mechanic and they said there was nothing wrong with he car! She just wanted an oil change and regular tune up! She has used them for repairs in the past and felt she was bamboozled but continued to use them because they are closest certified dealer . When my mom asked why the car needed so much work, they were evasive and kept changing the repair cost. Finally, she was asked to leave and told that they wouldn't work on her car! On top of that, they broke the door handle which they denied and refused to fix. The only thing certified about this establishment is that they are certified CROOKS! My folks are older and this maybe something that happens to a lot of seniors; they are targeted for fraud. We are going to pursue this matter with consumer affairs and Porsche head quarters as well as the news media. read more

I am not new to Porsche, I just bought my fourth 911. I've owned a 1973 911S Targa, a 2002 911S Cab, a 2008 911S Cab, and now a 2016 911 GTS. I mention this to punctuate the fact that I have owned Porsches while they were on and off warranty. I am not a key fob fashion minded trend buyer of the brand. I know and love Porsche from childhood to adulthood. As a result, a professionally trained, fair minded, transparent, and courteous service department is a must for me. Having a strong, can-do service department keeps my Porsche running properly and keeps me loyal to the brand that never fails to put a smile on my spirit. Inclusive of the Pepe Porsche of Larchmont service department team is William Bologna, Service Director, and Jamie Chambers, Shop Forman. These men have earned my trust and loyalty by successfully servicing my last three Porsches. The dealership is 45 miles from my home. There are closer dealerships and other dealerships, but I remain with the team that has worked for me. I want my Porsche serviced correctly. I want my Porsche respected while in the custody of the service department. I want a clean tech working on my Porsche. I do not want my car damaged while it is in the care of the service department. I want to know what is going to be done to my Porsche. I do not want to be / or feel up sold on service matters. I want my Porsche worked on as close as possible to my appointment time and returned to me clean and expeditiously. Finally, I want to leave with a smile knowing that my Porsche is in better condition then when I arrived. Bologna and his service department team has not failed to meet the aforementioned standard time and time again. The good work and enthusiastic demeanor I have experienced in the service department led me to buy my latest Porsche from Pepe Porsche. There is no more positive a testament to how pleased I am than that. read more
