I don't normally write negative reviews, but after exhausting every reasonable avenue to resolve this issue, I feel other customers should know about my experience with the Scarsdale Ford service department. I brought my truck to Scarsdale Ford for a major repair and paid over $7,000 for the work. When I picked up my truck, I later noticed multiple scratches on the painted trim directly above the Ford emblem that were not there before the repair. I have photographs taken before the service that show this area was undamaged. I contacted the dealership immediately and made several attempts to resolve the issue professionally. Unfortunately, what disappointed me most wasn't just the damage--it was how I was treated afterward. I repeatedly asked to speak with the Service Manager, but she never came out to speak with me. Instead, other employees were sent to tell me there was "nothing they could do." No one appeared interested in inspecting the damage with me or discussing a possible resolution. I also attempted to reach the General Manager, but my calls were never returned. I then opened a case with Ford Corporate, sent a certified letter, and even filed a complaint with the New York State Attorney General after I was unable to get any meaningful response from the dealership. I made every effort to resolve this matter privately before posting this review. I understand that mistakes can happen during vehicle repairs. What separates a good dealership from a bad one is how they respond when a customer raises a legitimate concern. In my experience, there was no accountability, no meaningful communication, and no effort to make things right after I had just spent thousands of dollars at their dealership. If you're considering having your vehicle serviced here, especially for major repairs, I encourage you to ask how customer concerns are handled if something goes wrong. My experience left me feeling ignored and dismissed. My daughter and I recently went to this dealership for the first time. The entire experience, from the beginning when she first called to make an appointment through to her driving off the lot with a brand new Bronco 2024 was an extremely positive experience. Isiah is a relatively young salesman that went above and beyond to make sure the entire process was smooth and transparent. Now, I'm sure the fact that my daughter had spent significant time researching the car before even calling them put us in a good position; however, that does not take away from Isiah's work as a professional. All other employees that were involved in the process were also wonderful--from another the receptionist, another salesman, to the finance person, etc. I would certainly recommend this dealership and when I am in the market to purchase a new vehicle for myself, I would definitely come here without any hesitation. read more

Terrible experience I had with dealer! Apart from the regular dealers scheme to "rob" you here and there, these people wanted more from us. The vehicle we chose to buy had the windshield cracked. They said that, as part of the deal, they will replace it. I was very clear that I want original windshield. At the time of picking up the car, I noticed that the windshield was not original, rather a cheap chinese after-market. When I approached the manager in this matter, he said that he wasn't aware of that and that the sales person "is out today". When they replaced the the windshield they scratched the dashboard and left glue on it that I cannot remove without damaging the dashboard. Also de Heads-Up-Display is foggy on the margins - not sure it it is because of the cheap windshield they put on or because, during the windshield replacement, they must have whipped it off with the wrong substance. And to top it off, they messed up the papers in the manner that I did not have a registration for three months. Yes, 3 months. I was affraid to drive my own, new car to avoid breaking the law. I was like driving a stolen car. So, obviously I cannot recommend tbis dealer. It seems that, for decades, customers are treated badly by dealers and there is nothing we ca do. Sad... read more

Scarsdale Ford is fantastic! I brought my car in because the check engine light was on. I have a 2018 Ford Escape. The morning after I dropped it off, Ralph called me and the first thing he did was crack a joke, which made me laugh very hard. He led me to believe I had serious issues with the car and then basically said, "Just Kidding!". I was so relieved! He had me in stiches! I brought my Ford Shelby into this dealership for a repair covered under my warranty in early July and it STILL has not been fixed and it is now October. The dealership told me for months they were waiting to get the part in. I finally called Ford Shelby in Nevada who told me that the part was sitting at the dealer. Once I told the dealership, days later they said they made the repair. As soon as I drove out of their parking lot I realized that the problem was still there and they had not made the repair. They took the car back again and it is still sitting in their parking lot under tree branches getting scratched and rusted. Why it has taken FOUR months to make a car repair - with no estimated date of completion - is beyond me but I have just filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau to hopefully get assistance. Very good experience from start to finish. I met with Joe Tarantino, who was patient and informative. I was interested in getting my first electric car and had many questions. After going on a test drive, I wound up ordering the car online and Joe processed it for me and took care of everything else from there. He was communicative throughout the order, letting me know when it was scheduled to be built, shipped from the factory, delivered to the dealership and finally, prepped and ready for me. The paperwork was easy. Sorry for not remembering the finance managers name but he was great as well. At delivery, Joe sat in the car with me and walked me through its many features and how they work. He would have spent more time with me but I also knew I needed to just spend some time in my driveway and figure some things out for myself. I brought my car in because it was experiencing an error with my tire pressure monitoring system once I brought my car in I was greeted and an estimate of the bill was between $200 and $500 I waited for approximately two and a half hours I got my car back and bill was $630 just to replace my tire pressure monitoring system I knew something was off but I was like whatever I wrote a review approximately a week later I received the phone call from a woman by the name of Lauren she expressed to me that the billing coding for my visit was an error and she refunded me $240 I really do appreciate for for following up on their era and I was getting that credit within probably three to four business days. RUN FAR AWAY! This is the worst place. Starting with the lack of customer service specifically Charmin at the front desk. She is very nasty. I called to set up an appointment to bring my car in for service and they told us they couldn't take us for a few weeks. Decided to go with in person and they were taking a lot of their favorite family and friend members. We drop the car off anyway and decided to get the rental car while waiting for a ride back home from a family member, we watched people hang around and wait for the car to be serviced and didn't even have an appointment. After two weeks and a lot of frustration call for the status and back-and-forth, they told me the car should be ready in a day or two and they are just waiting for a part. We went to the place after hours as we needed to take our child's car seat out and the car is in the exact same place it was when they took it. It didn't even look like anyone looked at it yet. So the next day I called and asked for the service department and asked them what part are they waiting for and Service said they are not waiting for a part they didn't diagnosis yet. So after renting a car and spending tons of money on that and frustration waiting for the car to be returned and then finding out it hasn't been looked at in two weeks, we immediately went there and took her car back. Then of course, we had an issue trying to get her key. And again, the woman at the front desk makes it like it's your fault not their fault read more

My husband and I needed a mobility van for our severely brain damaged 40 year old son. This company treated us like family from day 1. Our sales rep Darin was so very helpful. He explained everything. Even different types of vans. We even got our van sooner than we expected. We were even surprised when the van came to them with very little gas. We thought we had to fill it up, but they said " No" then took our van and filled it up and said "It's all yours". I purchased a 2018 Ford Explorer from Scarsdale Ford in 2021, I was trading in a Jeep Grand Cherokee I purchased from Jeep on Central Avenue in 2017, Jeep on Central Avenue is TERRIBLE, I had to get that in, the worst and that used car I purchased from them was annoying AF. Scarsdale Ford was such a dream after my experience with Jeep, Ford was amazing so much so that we went back when it came time to trade in our 2009 Jeep Wrangler that was requiring a lot of maintenance and costing us too much money to maintain, we ended up purchasing a 2018 Ford Edge a few months back. On both occasions Chris Sorgi assisted us with the sale and he was fantastic. Chris was patient, knowledgeable and genuinely a nice guy. I highly recommend Scarsdale Ford. read more

My new car-buying experience with Joe was good. Nice person and responsive. Further, he appropriately kept me informed on delivery dates, pick-up dates, and service dates. My relationship went from good to poor when I brought my car in for its 12-month inspection. My car had 6000 miles and was operating well. I brought it in to be looked at per the warranty. I made an appointment for service with the intent for service to inspect and send me home. It turns out the service department makes appointments for you to leave your car but does not attempt for actual service to be performed at that time. I had to take a cab home and 30+ hours later I got my car back from what should have been at best a courtesy visit. I'm disappointed for the Scarsdale Ford employees who really do care about customer relationships. I hope those who have a responsibility to manage will put some effort into educating their employees on how to treat a customer and how to manage a process. Because my used 2002 Ford Explorer had bite the big one the same day I came back from Vacation, I was searching for a new one for a month with limited finances. The other brands just did not do it for me - either too pricey or just was not what I was looking for. I stuck with Ford because my favorable history....my first ride was a 97 Ford Aerostar and then after that was the my 2002 Ford Explorer. Why break it if its not broken. So I have tried several different dealers - but Scarsdale stood out! Everyone is great there but Joe Tarantino - he is straight up and really really sincere and helpful with finance options. He even pulled a miracle - Financing a CPO! Anyways - we all have our opionions and options - but to Scardsdale Ford I will go for the 2nd Car! read more

I took the car to another Ford Dealer (Manhattan) and they pretended that it was fixed... to make things worst, they ignored my complains after they "have fixed it".
