He is a highly skilled surgeon who has performed countless successful cataract surgeries. My vision was 20/30 the day after surgery! I was incredibly nervous about getting glasses right before high school but Dr. Matthews was super nice and helped me figure out which contacts worked best for me and which glasses would look best when I was too tired to wear contacts. He explained everything and I wasn't worried about putting in the contacts by myself after he walked me through the process. I would send my friends here too if they needed glasses.

I had driven 4 hours, and it required 2 signatures. The Doctor was nice enough to come out after she seen her patient. and ask me "If I called before I came". I said no. She said there's lots of Optometrists where I live. The lack of empathy and complete disregard for a patient is reprehensible. I left feeling extremely embarrassed. The doctor is emotionless. I highly recommend using another doctor, but I highly recommend the location for eyewear that the other staff is responsible for. Edited: I offered to pay for the form to be signed and that could have been accomplished in the same amount of time it took her to embarrass me in the front waiting room in front of staff and clients.

I was born with an eye condition that has me seeing eye doctors more than most; and with saying this, I have also moved around quite a bit in my lifetime. I can honestly say that I have not had a better experience or more thorough exam. The Doctor there was exceptional, armed with the latest diagnostic equipment, where she took seemingly 3D pictures of my eyes, then took the time to explain the details of what those pictures showed. She then took me through a series of diagnostic tests, that some were familiar and others that surprised me. Finding a prescription here was unexpected also; never have I been put through such rigorous tests to pinpoint the most accurate eyeglass prescription I have ever had. You'd think that my story was done. Far from it. While waiting for my eyes to dilate, I was in good company; the staff and even the young family there were friendly and inclusive; I felt right at home. The eyeglass specialist, Crystal, was phenomenal! She had all the answers and helped me find the perfect pair from their extensive and up-to-date inventory, including some sunglasses. She was a true professional. I really cannot say enough....

I hadn't had my vision prescription renewed in a year or so, and wanted an updated prescription, so my visit was very basic. However, I felt that given that an established relationship with an ophthalmologist would be beneficial for the future as well as get my prescription updated, I was referred to Dr. Johnson by my in-laws, and was happy with the decision. Even though I got my pupils dilated, the whole procedure with vision went very smoothly. I was in and out of there within 1 hour, with my new updated prescription in tow. My only qualm about this place is that they don't have services for fitting eyeglasses or contact lenses. You have to go somewhere else to get those done. That's a very minor thing though, but can be an inconvenience if you want a one-stop shop. Overall, happy to have found this place. Super clean, professional, efficient group. I'll be coming back here for all my eye/vision needs!

I was just told that I have been discharged from there service…read more They sent me bill that I never got . When I found out I owed them money I took time off work to get over there and pay them, that was several months ago and they never said anything about being discharged from service. Today I called and the receptionist told me they no longer want my business... imagine my surprise, when I tried to explain what happened the receptionist would not let me finish, she kept interrupting me and then hung up on me.... Keep in mind that when I found out I owed them money I took time off work to go there and pay them and at that time no one mentioned that I was no longer wanted as a customer.. I guess I need to find a doctor who cares about their patients
