Rob is our superhero…read more We requested for the following: - LED Light Strip Kitchen Cabinet installs that included non-conventional LED Light strips used for this kind of work (Philips Hue). - Ceiling Fan install into a large wooden beam with molding details. - Sub Panel install on the second floor (for more of my crazy ideas that I will certainly ask BQ electric to do) - Outlet install in 3 different closets The ceiling fan was an extremely difficult job. They did a good job trying to minimize the damage as much as possible. The damage that was made was promptly fixed. This is the third time we've had them come to the home. I'm writing a review for this particular service call since it was larger than the last service call (thermostat installs). BQ - if you see this - be prepared, I will call you for lighting updates on the outside of the house this time :)

Electricians Vinny and Anthony were personable and answered all our questions. When unexpected issues came up, they presented us with a range of options and didn't pressure us into having any additional work done. They also accommodated an additional small job that popped up unexpectedly. Estimates are done via computer software, so you can expect consistency in pricing - they're not just making up numbers as they go along. Overall, I found them professional, knowledgeable, and reliable and would use them again. Electrical work isn't cheap - especially on Long Island - but I think we made out OK given the quality of the work and the amount of time they spent on the job.

We found out about this company after we went to the Generac website and requested a quote for a generator and received a call from Pristine Energy. After a long phone conversation with Frank, during which we gave him all the information necessary for an accurate estimate, he gave us prices for installing generators of different sizes, and told us what the prices did and did not include. After coming to our home, he gave us a written estimate that was no where near what he said over the phone, and was over 50% more! When we asked him why the estimate was so much more than what he told us, he made up a bunch of excuses that made it clear that this was a bait and switch (including saying that his previous phone quote didn't include items that he said it did include). Needless to say, we will not be using Pristine Energy. I do not recommend this company.
