I recently hired Mr Wondeful's Electric and I highly recommend them. Paul and his team of electricians arrived on time and did a great job installing 2 ceiling fans and repaired/replaced 2 outdoor outlets. They cleaned up after themselves, brought all trash out, and didn't leave any messes such as bits of trimmed wires and caps. I also had an outdoor pendant light above my front entry which was not working and pretty worn from years of being exposed to the salt air and the elements living by the ocean. I asked Paul to look at it and see if it was possible to repair it rather than replace it because it matched all of my other outdoor fixtures and it was no longer available to purchase. They took their time and figured out a way to get that fixture back in working order. Paul also suggested putting in an automatic timer for that entry light, and we are really happy that he suggested it. We love how convenient it is! I have a house built in 1938 and had issues with some of my outlets. I called late on Friday and was able to make an appointment for Monday morning. They came on time, explained everything they were going to do and verified cost with me before they did the job. Jason came over today an put in some wonderful LED lights that have legit "lit up" our living room! They completed a very thorough, clean job of a 200 amp upgrade, and a long 50 amp run to the outside of my home for a JuiceBox 40 EVSE. This was no small job as the home is 100 years old. I hired Mr. Wonderful's Electric based off of the stellar Yelp reviews, and they are all on point. After purchasing my new home in Plainview, certain electrical outlets were not working in one of the bedrooms. I had originally hired a different electrician closer to my home, but after several hours and over $600, they were not able to identify the issue. That company was supposed to then come back and run new wires, but they ignored my attempts to schedule the follow-up. I was also concerned when they were in my house that they were dropping equipment without concern over my newly finished hardwood floors, so I decided to go with a different company even if they had to start from scratch. So I contacted Mr. Wonderful's Electric. First of all, Jason and Paul are professional and a pleasure to work with. Second, they were able to find the issue in under two hours. They then thought they had the issue resolved. It turns out the outlets had stopped working again after they left. So they had to come back and run new wires but didn't double charge me. Keep in mind that they were coming from Oceanside to Plainview, which is not a short drive. Furthermore, they were very respectful of the work that we had already done to the house, and carefully repatched the holes that they had put into the walls to run the new wires, which could easily be repainted. I would highly recommend Jason and Paul. I will be hiring them again to install high hats in my basement. read more
