The good thing is that they finally got their paperwork together and didn't charge me. Also, having them kept my electrical bill at a steady rate I was able to get 9 cents a wtts. When I was negotiation prices with them, I did asked and got the lower rate I was looking for. The negative, after a few years, I notice that because I had an energy supplier, Con Ed was charging me more money on the service line and so on. For now, I am closing the contract because I noticed that if I don;t have the energy supplier, Con Ed charges me less on their fees. I still have to pay a fee for cancelling the contract. Their fee is $500.00 or less, depending on how many months you had used in the contract.
