This place is located inside the mall, a little way off the food court, a more upscaled, fancier setting to enjoy your cup of coffee. It's not bad coffee, but by comparison is over priced. read more

Such simple, authentic pleasures define France and much of Europe for me. And, placed at the hub of an international terminal, an oddly effective cathartic escape after a long flight. The smoked salmon sandwich was deeply satisfying. The chocolate eclair with patisserie creme and ganache was decadent. The cashier was suave and cheeky as he upsold me coffee and juice. The busy staff was efficient and engaging when we needed help--which was often as we stumbled around jetlagged. Who doesn't need a treat after a long haul flight???

The person who got food said I had to go to another caixo at the adjacent service (such as the pastry for pastel de nata or for cervejaria (beer). So I walked over to one of them and they said to get food first. When I got the food and then paid, I didn't realized their food were all cold! I thought they were under a heat lamp, but these are like cold foods. Maybe that's how they vibe for a squid stuffed with potatoes, with sides of spinach and tomato rice?

Note: there are multiple places that offer them, but Paul's definitely fit the bill. I think the most notable part about the egg tarts from Paul was the jelly-like consistency, subtle sweetness, and not-too-eggy taste. The texture of the custard was perfect! We didn't try the egg tarts from other cafes, but I definitely recommend Paul's if you happen to passing through.

I am not gonna have dreams about it. Oh my God it was amazing, but for croissant it was decent. It was flaky. It wasn't as buttery as I expected it to be and it had a slightly sweet on the tone and I'm not talking about the Nutella. I'm really talking about a croissant itself. The marble cake was for me not your typical marble cake but being an American. It was a tad bit dry, but besides that with a cup of coffee or cappuccino or latte it would be good.
