This was our layover from Rome to Newark. Landing here at 4:30pm we were all famished. We liked the extensive choices. The seating area was nice and fancy with a casual feel. You order at the counter and they give you a buzzer when your food is ready. There are lots of pastries, sandwiches and other items. We were all so surprised by the classy presentation given that this is airport food. Everything was absolutely delicious. It was hot, fresh and seasoned perfectly. I inhaled my dish. I am rushing to write this review because I am about to board on my final flight home. Definitely give yourself a nice long layover here at the Portugal Airport as there are also many amazing shops. read more

All good trips must come to an end and our final meal in Lisboa was at the Versailles airport location. I very rarely eat ham; however, most of the breakfast sandwiches featured some type of pork. They grabbed by interest with the coconut bread so I went out of my comfort zone and ordered the ham and cheese breakfast sammie. The sweet coconut bread paired with the salty ham and cheese was a delightful combination. I highly recommend. The cashier taking my order was not in the best of moods and we were having a difficult time communicating about what my desire in a latte was: made with almond milk and a small amount of chocolate syrup. The very kind barista intervened in an effort to assist and in the end I received what I desired except powder replaced syrup. The coffee in itself was glorious and I figure I saved some calories so kind of a win. My friend enjoyed an oat milk latte and croissant. She too was pleased with her final Lisbon meal. The atmosphere and decor in this café is so inviting! So much so we failed to realize we didn't make it to the international flight section of the airport until approximately an hour prior to boarding time. Luckily, the lines weren't fierce for a Sunday morning and we didn't incur any hiccups. read more

The space inside is neat: it's a bit grand, you can see that it's been around for some time, but it also feels like it needs a bit of a touch up and care to bring it back to some old glory. But maybe that's me. I think one goes here for the atmosphere, as the baked goods were average. The croissant I got was terrible (very bready, not flaky at all, like it was a week old). Perhaps stop in and get a pastel de nata and/or an espresso, I wouldn't concern myself with too much of the food. We got some other sweets and some tea, none of which was good. read more

Decent coffee and a pretty good pastel de nata. I will say the staff seemed to be in a mood and we're not friendly. Very gruff and "hurry along." The seating area is massive and very nice. Lots of comfy seating options. read more

Our favorite spot at the Lisbon airport!!! Here we had coffee, bread with butter, and Portugal's famous nata... this was to die for. Definitely a must. Service was great and efficient. Stopped here on a layover for some food and was drawn in from the array of food on display, but it was sadly underwhelming. Had the sandwich and a latte. Latte was made with nespresso and I actually think they did a solid job on that. But the sandwich had cold hard bread and the slice of ham and cheese in between didn't help. I could barely taste it biting through the cardboard just to get to it. Wouldn't recommend this place for the food, but if you're a fan of nespresso, they do have it. read more

Egg custard tarts in Portugal are the best - so if you're passing through Lisbon on a layover, or leaving Lisbon and need one more, this place is a good place to get an egg tart and take it on the plane. The price of the egg tart was not cheap, but for airport food it was to be expected. The quality of the egg tart was great though - flaky and buttery crust, and smooth and soft egg custard inside. Not exactly "out of the oven" fresh, but it hadn't been sitting around for days, so it was good. I'd come back here again next time I pass through Lisbon. It makes an excellent mid-flight snack - our only regret was that we wished we had gotten two instead of just one to share! read more

As I was passing by the counter, I saw this wonderful almond tartlet and I had to have it. Since airline food is dubious at best I ordered it to go to enjoy with my meal. This was probably the best tartlet that I have ever had, crunchy almonds on top and not too sweet. The price wasn't too bad either around 2.20 Euros (USD $2.50). Can't speak for the bad service others experienced, they seemed friendly and efficient to me but then again my interaction was rather brief. read more

As far as airport food goes, this place was pretty darn good! Ordered a Ham&cheese on coconut bread with some freshly squeezed orange juice. The bread made the sandwich--so fresh and sweet! The pricing was not horrible either- ordered 2 ham&cheese sandwiches, a glass of fresh-squeezed o.j. & a double shot of espresso for €15. Overall, it met expectations for airport food. read more

We ordered lamb ribs, potatoes, and two glasses of cheap red wine for 42€ total. We expected lamb cooked on rotisserie, since that was how it was listed. Instead we got lamb that was charred in places, with an odd and unappealing flavor. We had been famished but neither of us finished the lamb. We had to ask repeatedly to get the sides that were supposed to come with it. The smashed potatoes were boiled potatoes rolled in oil; the French fries were standard. The wait staff was disinterested. Honestly, the best-tasting thing on our plates was my husband's prepackaged mayonnaise. We regret spending our money there. read more

Went to their location at Lisbon Airport, they were not able to toast a croque monsieur. Didn't give a sh** about it and told me to go away. Nice customer service... Anyway, the cold croque monsieur was disgusting as anybody can expect. Other food is average. read more
