Portfolio Fit is a small cafe located in Iconix Fitness! They service Acai bowls, coffee, and smoothies. If you need that protein intake for the gym, this is an easy spot to do so. Sergio is awesome, always making conversation and killing it! They have two counters, one for non-members and the other with access to the gym by the bathrooms of Iconix. They also have limited seating inside; it feels like a grab-and-go cafe. It's right across the beach, so take advantage of that and enjoy your beverage with a nice ocean breeze! The Beach Ready Berry ($8) was great, I got it with vanilla whey protein, and it wasn't grainy. It tasted great, even with the protein. I also have customized my own drink and got a strawberry banana smoothie with whey protein and oat milk. Simple and got the job done! Was in Long Beach for a festival & remembered that my friend & I came here 3 years ago & had a great experience so we decided to give it another try while on this stay. Once again, did not disappoint! I tried the Morning Buzz & an açaí bowl & my friend got a cold brew with an açaí bowl. The Morning Buzz was delicioussss!!! Mushrooms, coffee, bananas, protein, & dates what more could you want! It was the perfect buzz. The açaí bowl was spectacular. I prefer the scoop-able açaí over a blended mix & that's exactly what they use & it's the perfect refreshing breakfast. Even though there was only one guy working, it was busy on both sides, & customers were being ruthless he maintained composure & worked as efficient as he could. This place is simply the best. Perfect for a post-workout recharge--not only from the great coffee, matcha and smoothie options, but also from the incredible energy of the staff! Also perfect for if you're visiting the beach/pier and you want to pop in for some comfort. I absolutely love my visits to Portfolio Fit and look forward to it most days. Shout out to the extended hours! It is super helpful for when I want to study later in the evening after a workout at the gym or want a warm beverage after an evening skate at the boardwalk. I really wanted to like this place. It's right across from the beach and next to Iconix Fitness. I was killing time waiting for my dog to get done at her grooming appointment at the Paw Spa on the other side of the building, so my mom and I came here to grab a drink. I ordered the PB&J shake and I thought it was gross. I didn't finish it. My mom asked if they had any iced tea; they said no but they could make her some. Based on the photo and taste it's like they dunked a tea bag into a cup of water a few times. The saddest iced tea I've ever seen and tried, with no flavor. We threw it away after a few sips. Even though our drinks weren't good, I'd feel bad giving them less than 3 stars because the people working there were nice. I'll give them another chance but I'll probably order a coffee or açaí bowl. Definitely not a smoothie or an iced tea. read more

I'm making my way through the protein smoothie menu - so far, I love the three that I've had! Greens Plus, Olympic Gold and and Berry Iconic are those that I've tried so far. You can add peanut or almond butter to any smoothie, but so far I'm loving the Olympic Gold the most (which already has peanut butter in it). I added strawberries on my last visit. Large sizes are $1.50 extra, but worth it. Feel healthy and keep cool with beverages from here. Super easy to access, as well. Portfolio fit is a small cafe attached onto the back ( ocean face if side) of Iconix gym. They have all the classic coffees you'd expect at any Italian cafe plus fruit smoothies and Açaí bowls. It's a great little local place to come and grab a great coffee in the AM. Enjoy! read more

The shakes were good! We tried the olympic gold and the pb&j shake. I would've liked more peanut butter in both of them, but I didn't think it was worth paying an extra $2 for it. They were refreshing and filling, and I think they're a great start to your day. I liked how simple they were and you could easily taste each ingredient in them. They offer lots of different items too such acai bowls, coffee, shakes, and small snacks. We were able to find parking pretty easily in the small parking lot on a Monday morning. The shop is located on the other side of Olympix gym, facing the beach. So if you park in the parking lot, then you have to walk around to the get to the storefront. read more

It's a great little spot attached to Iconix gym. After a workout sometimes I treat myself to a protein smoothie. Everything I've had has been good, favorite so far is the strawberry shortcake. My only suggestion would be for the menu to list calories and protein amounts. That would be awesome! read more

First time visit. Hidden gem of a coffee shop at Olympix Fitness. SO, the outside is for the public with the opposite side for Olympix. The staff person was very friendly & patiently gave us info on what offerings they have along with telling us how they are set up to serve ppl walking by and the fitness club but the public can not access the fitness club through the coffee shop. Confused? I was at first. The menu is limited buy very diverse, so you won't be disappointed. My friend had the Pina Colada. I passed since I was not thirsty. She said it was okay & somewhat tasty: "It's just ok not strong enough pineapple nor coconut but it's hard to mess with these two things. And I just checked it's $7.17. From menu it's only said pineapple and coconut...I can't tell what else in it." The various muffins and such were different looking, more nutritional than places like Starbucks & Peetes. Overall a good place to pick up a quick cold or hot drink and a healthy snack. Since I'm from out of town, I will pbly not make a trip just to come and visit this place, so it's A-OK, not really a fan. Happy Hot or Cold Drink and Fight On! read more

Delicious açaí bowl with friendly service. The açaí bowl is refreshing topped with thick layers of peanut butter, granola, strawberry and banana. It's surely loaded with protein and antioxidants. I'll come back and try the other items on the menu. read more

I ordered a tumeric honey latte with an extra shot of espresso. As I was walking out of the gym I realized my cup was very light. I opened the lid to find that my cup wasn't even full and it was filled with foam. Every LB independent coffee house I've been to fills my cup up to make sure I get my $ worth. Coffee + Matcha = Green Eye That was my first order off this cute little spot inside Olympix Fitness. I was going to go for their Bulletproof Coffee but the featured drink by the counter had this. I'm a sucker for matcha & really trying my best to not be one for coffee anymore but man, I HAD to try it. This place is fairly new, as the fitness center is on its first year. The store front is clean and inviting, having their seating only available outdoors. It had about three wooden bistro sets with oversized umbrellas to go with it & some cushions to protect your tush. They have packaged drinks, baked goods and meal preps available. They also make acai bowls, smoothies and other healthier options as well (check out some of the pictures I've posted). The lady Sara who was taking my order at the time was friendly and had a nice smile on her face. I asked for a cup of water on the side and she asked if I would be interested in their lemon mint water.. of course I said yes! Water with lemon is good to me anytime, mint was the cherry on top. I sub Chia seeds for the granola as thats more my Jam but it is tasty as is. &The Acai bowls are really great especially the peanut butter one.
