The employees never offer to help you and when you chase one down and ask for help they're rude and have no idea where items are or what you might need for a given project. Ace is not like that. This Ace in particular is great. My wife or I have stopped in for an item or two at least once or twice a month for the past year or two and every time we are helped if we need it by someone who knows what they're talking about and who isn't rude or put out that you are shopping here. The store is organized and clean, the employees are friendly, and the prices are fair. The only thing I could think of complaining about is maybe the hours are sometimes a bit limited (especially being closed on Sunday) but heck that might have something to do with why the employees are helpful--maybe they don't hate working here and aren't treated like crap as I'm sure most Lowe's employees are.

I've probably been in the Portland, TN store a few times a year for 10 years and like another review their hours are limited. They close at 5 pm throughout the week and closed on Sunday. I'm ok with the closed on Sunday part, but I wish they were open until 6pm. I always miss the time by a couple of minutes and have to return the next day. Also, their prices are very competitive. Sometimes they're a dollar or two higher and sometimes a dollar or two lower. I stopped in the White House, Tn store today and the women did not greet me nor ask if they could help me find something. Since I've never been in this location, I definitely needed some guidance as to where to find something, but I decided to just go ahead and look myself. As I was leaving the store I noticed that they greeted the men that were coming in. Maybe they didn't feel I needed help. Needless to say, I headed to the Portland location and was greeted and helped right away. Anyway, I may not always need help or even need to be greeted, but I'm very glad the Portland store does. This is much appreciated.

He was super friendly and helpful. Once I got what I was after, I wandered around the store, which was well kept, well stocked, organized and clean. At checkout, Jordan, was friendly and efficient. Overall, solid local Ace Hardware. While I am not in White House too often, when I do find myself in the area and after some hardware related goods, I would definitely swing back through.

They also employ local former inmates who are reintegrating into the community, and these guys need all the help they can get, so this is a good aspect of patronizing the store. The building is new and there is plenty of parking. It is conveniently located, although the hours are a touch limited and vary from day to day. The store employees are friendly and accommodating. On one occasion I returned an item to exchange for one that would fit my needs and the manager approved the exchange despite a store policy that would have otherwise prohibited it. This seems like common sense but, well, it's not the thing you can just expect anymore. I did not give the store a five-star rating because the pricing on many of their items is comparable to new and/or higher quality items. I think the store and the brand would be better served by a pricing policy that rewarded patrons rather than offering a 'hit or miss' gambler's philosophy.

I am not normally a sandwich lover, but the freshly made sandwiches are a requirement for when I fly back home. The homemade soups/chili are very, very good. Oh wait! ice cream, yes... you must try the ice cream especially during the summer months! Wonderful memories of a wonderful store!

Your service is horrible and when I had enough and asked for Mike the owner to contact me, crickets! Never a response! I could have bought my own RTAs and done the same or better job. I told them this because we built a bar area smaller in our media room! The quality of the cabinets were not to my standards for the price. My wall had to be repainted which they should have offered to pay for since the installer made marks all over because they sold me long floating shelves that was never installed at that length so had to install different brackets and notch the shelves to fit the brackets. 3times out here to install two shelves and 3 1/2 cabinets. I was set for me and my daughter to follow with full kitchens but we are going elsewhere now. Over $60k worth of lost business, not sure who wants that! The plans were ready to be executed. If you are looking for a good look and good quality this is not the place!!!

We used Builder Supply Source for our cabinets in a kitchen renovation project we just finished,…read moreand the cabinets turned out great. More than that? The cabinets we ended up with are extra custom. We wanted a more modern kitchen than I expect is very common in Nashville (several cabinetry companies our contractor typically works with could only give us Shaker cabinets, which isn't what we wanted), but Builder Supply Source had flat panel cabinets, which is the modern look we wanted. When they didn't have the exact stain color we wanted, they worked with us to create some samples based on some Pinterest/Houzz pictures I sent over. A few days after I sent the photos over, we had four samples at our house. We really liked three of them, narrowed it down to two, and finally picked one. I really appreciated that they were willing to work with us to get the color just right! We had a few little issues (one small panel of wood came slightly scratched up), but Builder Supply Source took care of everything. We worked with Will, who was great from our first meeting with him (we were in his office for about an hour talking about options and coming up with the best cabinet layout). And - at the end of the project - we're just in love with our cabinets (as well as with the hardware we ordered through Builder Supply Source). They were great to work with and the final product is exactly what we wanted. I don't think we would have ended up with the kitchen we had in our minds if it weren't for Builder Supply Source!
