After doing some research, we chose Dr. T for our son's pediatrician. After he was born we called and got his first appointment scheduled. We met with nurses, Dr. T, and lactation specialist. It was an incredible experience to meet everyone and get so much insight. Dr. T loves to hear all the questions and always has an answer for us. My son really likes him too, now that he is older to make those choices. We have had to use the portal several times to chat with the staff and there has never been an ignored message or misinterpreted thought. Even when we have emergencies, they are always responsive and fit us in as soon as they can. It is just a great pediatrician to have for any family. They have lifelong patients in our family.

With a newborn, I know that time is valuable so let me get down to the nitty gritty. Below are the main reasons why I like IP. - They have late hours (Monday - Thursday until 7pm) and are open Saturday mornings, which is great for those who work typical business hours. - There's walk-in hours twice a day. - They have a lactation consultant, Dianne, who is very supportive. She even offered her personal cell number to me. - Dr. Savage is warm, gentle, and attentive to my newborn. She also answers all of my questions. - The waiting room has a section for the sick kids and another for the kids who are there for well visits. (Important to me because I don't want my healthy newborn around the sick kids!) - The patient room we were in was equipped for a nursing mom - boppy, disposable slipcovers, breastfriend (another type of nursing pillow), and a comfy rocking chair with foot rest. Nice touch! Also, there was a cute sign to put on the door to let others know to knock first before entering when nursing. - The patient room also has diapers and wipes. - Also, there's a chalkboard for mini people to use to keep them entertained in the patient room. - Decor is kid friendly and lucky for me, since I'm a Finding Nemo fan, aquarium-themed. - Office is bigger and freshly remodeled. - Lastly, as a new patient, we received an infant binder with a growth tracker chart, family history form, office information, and other additional information. At each visit, we received an information packet that describes diet, hygiene, safety, behavior and development, and any other relevant information about our baby at the age she is at the time of the appointment (i.e. 2 weeks, 2 months, 4 months, etc.). Also, the nurse writes down my daughter's height, weight, and head circumference on the packet for our records. This is my first child and first experience with pediatrics and I am impressed and grateful for the attention and care given to my daughter.

She makes the front desk staff hound you in even makes the doctor's hound you when you're in the visit with a sick child. They talk to you very rude in front of other patients and staff making it very uncomfortable. I did like the doctors and the nurses but the overall professionalism of the office manager is definitely not what I'm looking for when it comes to caring for my son.

Dr. Burzynski is always so kind and understanding on our every visit. The nurses are always prompt for calling us in after checking in, and the secretaries are knowledgeable and competent. I give 4 stars because there are a couple of things I'd recommend in the waiting room area, like wifi availability, little toy sets or books to keep the infants and toddlers occupied. They don't seem to have much but the fish tank in the middle of the lobby and magazines. The one time we did have to wait for a few minutes longer it was tricky keeping my little one entertained and I didn't have data to look up videos on my phone for him. Otherwise, our experiences have been positive with Long Pond Peds thus far!

Then the interviews come for pediatricians for the coming tiny humans! Take this seriously. We interviewed and fell in love with Dr Casey! She believes in vaccines and keeping everyone healthy and safe. She is caring and helpful and felt very much like a trusted family member while our children grew up. The kids love her and relate well to her maybe because she is pint sized herself so she isn't this imposing scary Dr walking into the room! I say this with absolute love and respect! From the front desk, Jennifer, got to know our whole family so when we called she knew our child and was comforting and helpful! The RN's, NP's and PA's are all fan-tabulous!!!! Nothing but good things to say about Elmwood Pediatrics…read more Granted we have limited experience (maybe 4 visits total) for our 3 month old, all the visits have been positive experiences. The nurses, nurse practitioners and physicians have all been great with our little one. They were open Saturday when we had our first newborn visit, which was convenient and reassuring to us as first-time parents. Drs. Bauer and Cleary have great bedside manner and I trust them fully in caring for my child. Luckily we haven't had any urgent visits, but all our routine visits have been great.
