Nice little Italian restaurant right near Portobello Marker. It has the most idyllic setting. The outside seating area looks magical with its colored garden lights and plants- very intimate. It is the kind of place where you can dress up a bit and have special date or be casual and not feel out of place. The servers were friendly and personable and the price of the food was not bad for the location.

This was hands down the best food we have ever ate. We loved the atmosphere, too. The garlic bread is amazing! Drinks were great, too.

Great hidden spot. Thank you Yelp for directing us here. Off the busy market but gets full quickly at lunch time. Came in few minutes before noon so pizza was not an option yet but sandwiches were awesome. Great bread, cheese, salami and mix of ingredients. If in the area and would like good food, affordable, true Italian feel...try this one.

I still haven't had a meal at this lovely cafe/restaurant but finally popped in for a quick cappuccino the other day. They don't compete for the early morning trade and were only just opening up when I arrived. I almost felt guilty but all staff were super friendly and the coffee one of the best I've had in ages - you can always tell the difference when an Italian operates the machine ... The place is packed out at weekends and I tend to just pop out for a sandwich during the week, but I am sure to find an excuse to return soon and spend a little longer - love the decor and overall feel, all very bright and happy.

So cute! Stumbled into this colorful cafe during our day at the portobello rd market. Such a nice break from the crowded market. We got a few drinks and the porchetta platter and some olives as a snack. Really delicious. I loved the chill vibe and friendly staff. It had a glass roof almost like a greenhouse which made the whole cafe really bright.

From the street the Portobello Garden Caffe can be easy to miss.

Wonderful hidden gem in the heart of Notting Hill on Portobello Road. This unassuming little caffe is located off the street offering a quiet alternative to the more heavily trafficked eateries. Delicious food at reasonable prices. Everything we ate was very tasty and beautifully presented. Service was excellent and the staff were very friendly. We will definitely return!

Absolutely the best Italian. Very authentic. The eggplant and ham sandwich was very good.

Great food here in this rustic Italian cafe. Ate here with my family in 2018. Service was friendly and prices were reasonable.

My kind of food. I had just eaten breakfast at Daylesford and was wandering around when i came across Clean and Lean a few doors down. I just went in for a look but after being found out for being Australian by a super lovely Australian girl working there, we were chatting and she mentioned that they did great Acai bowls. I am a sucker for a good Acai bowl and hadn't had one for a while so despite not being hungry, I decided to get the Nourish Me bowl on Ruby's recommendation. For 8 pounds, I got the most delicious bowl topped with granola, almond butter, hemp seeds and fresh blueberries and raspberries - heaven! The acai was thick and didn't melt which is rare! I haven't had one with almond butter before and it gave the acai an extra creamy feel. Clean and Lean also had some great looking salads and sweet treats on the counter which I would have been tempted by, if I had been at all hungry. They also do Paleo toast, if that's your thing. I was also assured that their coffee was good too, but I can't vouch for that! Yes Clean and Lean is one of those super healthy places filled with fit looking people in their activewear but that doesn't mean that their food isn't delicious. Because it is.

I don't know when The Quince Tree Café took up residence here, but the sport was the former home of a Daylesford outlet. The nursery surrounding of the café lend to a tranquil environment. It is easy to forget that you are in the heart of Maida Vale. When the sun is out, it would be harder to find a nicer sport in West London to enjoy a brunch. They also serve breakfast, lunch and offer an afternoon tea option. I tend to just come here to enjoy a slow Latte and take in atmosphere. It is also a popular meeting point for mothers in the area. There are plenty of high chairs and they also offer a children's menu. If you're looking for a fast service, this is not the place for you. The slow service though added to this places charm for me, as it felt as though I was enjoying a short spell in the countryside, where time is less important. The Quince Tree café also cater for private parties and wedding receptions. If you're in the area, it is well worth a visit.
