Let me just say that my recovery so much more tolerable thanks to Margaret (Maggie)! I made several appointments with her while I was in town. I wish I could bring her back to Texas with me. The spa was very relaxing and very modern. The office staff was very kind and especially accommodating to my schedule. The ONLY reason for the lack of 5 stars was that my undressing and dressing time was deducted from my massage time. I am accustomed to getting a 60 minute massage for 60 minutes, not 45. Maybe it's how they do things up here, first time for a massage upstate for me. Other than that, everything else was amazing.

Here's what I learned: Sugaring is made from just sugar, water + lemon (yes... that's it). It's applied against the hair growth and removed with the growth (opposite of waxing), which helps with less ingrowns. And the best part... it's never hot, so no worrying about burns, just warm or room temp. It only sticks to the hair + dead skin, so it's actually really gentle and lightly exfoliating too. Now let's be real... the first time? A little spicy. BUT it gets easier the more you go, and over time your hair grows back thinner and slower (we love that for us). I originally booked an appointment and had to cancel once. They rescheduled me for Monday, but unfortunately, I couldn't leave home as early as planned because my babysitter had an unexpected issue and arrived late. I ended up being only 15 minutes late. When I arrived, they refused to see me and told me I would have to pay again because, according to them, they had already rescheduled my appointment twice and this was part of their policy. I find this absolutely ridiculous. I was only 15 minutes late because I could not leave my baby home alone, and I was already at their door. They showed absolutely no flexibility or understanding. They still charged me and refused to refund my money. This is exactly how businesses lose good clients. I could have spent significantly more money there in the future, but instead of using common sense and showing a little understanding, they chose to lose a customer over a 15-minute delay. I will never go back, and I would not recommend this place to anyone. Their policies feel designed to take your money rather than provide good customer service. The appointment process was very easy and was not a long wait. I love the decor especially- it's super girly and you can tell they care about the vibe they give off. Ina greeted me and checked me in immediately, she took before pics, did a thorough consultation and really listened to what I had wanted. It was not my first time getting filler & Botox so I had a specific look in mind & she nailed it. She gave me ample numbing cream, changed the needle often and was very sanitary and clean. When I was done she explained everything I was to expect and took after photos (she later showed me these, along with updated photos, at my follow up appointment). She also gave me the cutest little bag with arnica cream, lip balm and a balm applier (so cute!)
