They took the time to see if I was checked in at the front desk while simultaneously managing a packed salon. I wanted something that was best suited for a lower maintenance look while still being blonde. She took the time to explain to me the different ways we could approach my goal and I was super happy with the result. My hair was so fluffy and shiny and she understood my concern about being conservative about the length I wanted off. I got a haircut and hair color (balayage) from Ashley. Best part was how Ashley sat down with me for almost half hour, understanding what I wanted. This was important to me because this was literally the first time I was getting a haircut and hair color in US. Before this I always got it from India whenever I did my trips there. But due to covid and travel restrictions, I have to find a permanent place here for this and having moved to this neighborhood recently, I wanted some time to figure this out. One of the worst experiences I have ever had. I was growing out a botched haircut from another salon and specifically asked for a pixie cut and showed a picture. My length was about 4in and shorter in the back to start with. I left looking like a boy. She shaved half of my hair off and "textured" it so much that i was left with 1in wisps on my head. My husband asked if I went to the barber because it looked like a man's haircut. Never again will I go there and would definitely not recommend their services. read more

I have been coming to Posh for years and I never want to go anywhere else! I now live in Jersey and will make trips back to PA just to get my hair done. It's worth it. Nadene understands how fine my hair is and how it will hold color. She also knows to never chop off too much because I have such a hard time with the idea of going short! On my most recent visit, Nadene made a dramatic color change to my hair (I went from a dirty, more yellow blonde to an icy blonde). It came out AMAZING. I had multiple people over the next week tell me I looked like a celebrity. Who doesn't want that compliment? Overall the atmosphere is great. Nadine completely put me at ease and explained what we could do to fix it today and how we could potentially make it even closer to what I was looking for next time. Took my daughter here for hair extensions since she ruined her real hair trying to dye it. Paid $600 not including tip to have them put in her hair. A couple weeks went by she needed them retaped so went back spent another $300 not including tip, totally fine with spending almost $1 k on my daughters hair but then after that, my daughter had some ends frayed on her extensions so went back to see what they could do, to having the one girl cut her extensions to get rid of the frayed hair. Then the owner annoyed that her stylist cut the hair extensions ruining the extensions and making them shorter and had another stylist who had extensions herself come over and tell us that the other girl should have never cut those extensions there is cream to put on them to keep them from fraying. So we purchase the cream, annoyed that the hair extensions are now shorter. The owner said she would see what she could do seeing how upset we were over this said she would call us. Two weeks goes by we call over to find out what the status was and now they changed there story to sorry we don't purchases new hair extensions for free when that was what they told us they would do. After spending over $900 for them to be ruined and not doing a single thing about it is quite disappointing. A professional person would have handled that in a professional way not pushing it under the rug and telling us to move on, not there problem. If your looking for a salon that is great go to POSH in Doylestown, PA!! I am 52 years old and have been to exactly 4 hairdressers in my life. I didn't have a choice on the first two, the 3rd one moved and the fourth and final was recommended by numerous friends. Her name is Alisha Binder and she was a young new hairstylist. This young girl was not only friendly but fun and extremely knowledgeable. Alisha moved to Salon 360 in Huntingdon Valley which was 5 min from my house... needless to say I was ecstatic!! After 10 years Alisha decided to open her and Salon. Unfortunately her salon is in Doylestown, PA about 40 minutes from me without traffic. I was so happy and excited for Alisha but a little disappointed for me. Moral of the story is when your lucky enough to find hairdresser like Alisha you FOLLOW her. I am one of the most particular people you will ever meet about my hair. I walk in and Alisha will tell me what to do. I trust her implicitly. The best thing is she hires other stylist that are just like her. The salon is adorable, pricing is very competitive and the staff is amazing. 1/4/17: I went here a few months ago for the first time, seeing it was "#1 salon in Doylestown" on Yelp. I booked online and got an appointment within a week with the owner, Alisha. I walked in and a lady was sitting texting on her cell phone at the counter when i walked in. She didn't even make eye contact when i entered and later I found out she was the owner and my stylist. We had a fairly easy conversation about customer service and she spoke to me how the salon gets only the best coffee in Doylestown (however never offered me a cup). I was scheduled for a full color, half highlights and a cut. The highlights turned out great, color was meh. The cut - although i told her to "clean up the style" I got home to find she never even trimmed the dead ends. Nothing to write home about. With all that, I would have given it 3 stars. Poor customer service, clearly did not know how to make new clients feel warm, and just okay color and cut. The reason for one star is what infuriates me: I signed the total on an iPad yet never saw breakdown as she was going to email me the breakdown. Didn't think much of it as she said she was going to take a few bucks off for first time and booking online. Super. Only to review the receipt at home and to see she charged me another $25 for "glaze, color balance, or toner" of which i never ASKED for and never was INFORMED of. That is just poor practice of a business owner. Furthermore, I contacted her to question this charge and the tone of the reply was arrogant, with NO offer to refund my money OR provide me with a discount to future visits. I will continue to search for a better salon with honest and customer service where it should be when I pay $175 for hair services. One star. **UPDATE 7/23/17: A few months after I wrote this review, Alisha contacted me via phone and reported just seeing my review. She apologized and had no idea that I was that upset. I couldn't talk at the time and she offered several times to refund my money. I didn't think that was entirely fair as I DID like the way my hair had turned out. A small credit or perhaps a coupon for the next service would have been acceptable, but I told her i could not talk. She then followed it up with an email to me again asking to refund. I was in the middle of two stressful jobs at the time and honestly didn't care nor have time to write back. About a week later, I received a $100 gift certificate to the salon from her in my inbox. That was incredibly generous and how a good owner should respond. I was a bit hesitant to go back as I am not this crazy lunatic who throws bad reviews all over. That being said, I consulted with friends who are very tough critics of services and they told me i should go, especially being i liked my hair. SO....booked an appointment for cut and color with Alisha and sucked it up. She was finishing up a bridal party when i arrived one rainy Saturday and greeted me warmly with a smile. Being there for 2 hours, you can strike up some conversations (not like i am lookin for that at all, but it was nice conversation at that). She treated me well and the salon was busy and people were happy. I had a great service. Not knowing if she knew i was this crazy person (almost 9 months later), I went to check out and when I handed her the certificate and thanked her for that - she was shocked and had no idea it was me. In a way, i was glad as I didn't want any preferential treatment at all - just to be treated like regular customer. And I was - she said she was so glad I came back but never thought I would. She gave me a hug and comped me the entire service, which was much more than the certificate. I tried to pay, but she insisted. She was super sweet and I am glad I went back. I went here for the first time today. I made a reservation this morning through the Yelp app. It was super easy and convenient. I arrived earlier than my appointment time and was seen quickly. Despite being busy they were even able to squeeze a cut in for my daughter. The hairstylists were friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming. The price is fair for what you get. The stylists listened to what we asked for and added their own artistic flair. Both my daughter and I left happy and with great new cuts. read more

This was my second visit to POSH. I booked an appointment to have highlights done. After the foils were taken out and my hair was washed, I was pleased with the results. However, since my hair was soaking wet I expected the stylist to blow out my hair and style it. I was shocked when I was escorted from the shampoo area to a salon chair and provided with a blow dryer, a towel, and a big round brush to style my own hair. For $145.00, I expect the blow dry and style to be included!!!! I could have made a scene but decided to just pay the bill and never return. I walked a few storefronts down the street to another salon who graciously dried and styled my hair for free. I appreciated their act of kindness and compensated them. read more

At least my hair turned out nicely. And my service was lovely while I was there. To make a long story short, I was not told how much the cost of all the services I received would cost (I was told the perm would cost $250, but never given a price on the haircut I was recommended, and then accepted). When I was rung out, it was for $180, and I thought my stylist had just decided it wouldn't cost as much as expected (since most people's perms only cost $125). My stylist gave me her number to share what it looked like once it dried. When I texted her, she said that the receptionist had charged me incorrectly, and I still owed $120. She said I needed to come back the next day or call/text with my card information. I said ok, but I was very upset that I now had to carve time out of my busy, busy week to find my way back to the salon. I worked the next morning for 8-9 hours... in that time I got 4 calls from the salon (owner, stylist, receptionist, personal numbers) plus a LOAD of texts. I was being hounded and eventually was asked to text my card information. Feeling incredibly pressured as they were contacting me nonstop, I did. My debit card was compromised and not long after had to be cancelled because of fraud. Beyond disappointed. Made my life much harder and, after talking to two different salons, really overpriced to begin with. Would not recommend. read more

I've been coming here for quite a little while now. I picked this salon after surveying several women in my town to see who they recommended. The hands-down winner was Posh. I have to admit...I was so nervous to make a salon change, but Alisha has made me feel right at home since my very first appointment! She has listened to my concerns with my hair and has taken the time to educate me on how to repair it when it needed it (in the beginning). She and her staff have always been so warm and welcoming. It's a very down to Earth environment and I honestly love that. In addition, I think her prices are reasonable. As for my hair, it feels like it's in the best shape right now and I credit that to Alisha and her great talent. I won't go anywhere else. She is a hair goddess! She has a great eye for detail with everything she dose weather its hair waxing coloring styling She has done my hair many times and I would never ever have anyone else touch my hair. I have never had such great color she truly is a master at the colors and my cuts are always on the cutting edge and trend setting. But she is very real and grounded and will talk with u to give u what u want and will help fit it to u and ur own personality and life style.
