I went to their new location in Ambler and…read moretook my 5 year old daughter as well for one of her biggest cuts since birth (over 8 inches cut). I thought we could go together, since she was nervous and I needed gray root coverage and a good new cut/style anyway. We saw two different stylists and sat next to each other at the salon. My cut: I had asked for long layers and some shape and to please not use a razor edge to feather the layers (I personally don't care for that method or how that looks on me - I much prefer more blunt-cut layers) The junior stylist I had had no clue how to do anything but the feather/razor edge for layers, and basically acted like there was literally no other possible way to achieve a long layered cut. We went back back-and-forth for 10 minutes with her looking utterly confused at what I was suggesting. (I've had other cut methods hundreds of times. I was confused at her confusion.) She told me she's been out of school less than a year. I simply couldn't get through to her, so I gave in and had her basically just give me a boring blunt cut instead. The color she gave me was darker than I asked too, plus I left with dark marks around my face! My stylist was kind - I'm really not trying to say she wasn't, but she wasn't very warm or personable either. She seemed extremely young and checked out. My daughter's cut was the more heartbreaking one for me. She had gorgeous hair down to her bottom and we finally decided to give it a really good cut (tired off nightly tangles). It took the other gal under 10 minutes and it was completely uneven (see pic). I had to take her somewhere else to get it fixed. :( She was kind enough too but not very great with kids. Do not bring a kiddo here (I thought maybe a "real salon" would give her a better cut despite not being targeted to kids. I was wrong.) I'm really bummed because I had a lot of high hopes for this place opening up in Ambler and for finally finding a good stylist for both me and my daughter, but unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place. The value for what I paid is really shocking to me. To pay $250 for one cut/color with a junior stylist and one child's cut and both were this bad is super disappointing.

I drove over an hour from Philly to come to their new salon and it was absolutely worth it. The new space is beautiful - clean, airy, and spacious. Cabrina and Daniella are extremely welcoming; it's almost like they're welcoming you into their home I had a little trouble with the lighting so my "after picture" doesn't do her work justice, but I'm thrilled with Cabrina's work again. I like to have very cool ashy blonde highlights with a deep root and lots of dimension. I'm also in the midst of growing out a lob (my natural texture is wavy). Cabrina did hand painted baby lights, a root smudge, and a toner. One of the things I appreciate most about the quality of their work is that it grows in so well and lasts... Cabrina did my hair about 6 months ago (you can see it in the "before" pic) and it still looked pretty good, even after so much time. I also appreciate that they're thoughtful with their products - everything is effective, but my hair is never damaged. High quality - and I'm always happy with the results.

The final color was entirely different from what was requested and when we asked for a correction we were told that there was not time but to go home and keep washing her hair - maybe try chlorine in the pool (???). Upon insisting that the color needed to be fixed (it was soooo harsh), we were then told to go home and use Dawn soap - which after spending money to go to the salon - seems quite insulting. We felt so uncomfortable with the way we were treated from when we walked in, we didn't go back for the corrective appointment. I have never been to a salon where they stylist didnt want me to walk out happy. Have reached out to management on two occasions to request a refund but no response.

They were apparently understaffed at this time, but fortunately I was still able to get an appointment on the day that I wanted. One thing I'd recommend- if you've never had a keratin treatment before and you're interested in getting one, make sure you do your research on the aftercare. I didn't realize that I wouldn't be able to wash, style, or dye my hair for the next few days. My hair did turn out straight and healthy-looking. Since I've had it done, I've noticed a LOT less breakage and shedding when I comb my hair and when I wash it. I've been avoiding shampoos with sulfate to try to extend my results.

One of the owners came over to to me and hollaring while telling me to get out of the shop. I was not allowed to continue with my appointment. This happened because in the past when I made appointments I had to cancel them due to the expense, The shop is very expensive and if the person can't afford having their hair coiffed then they need to cancel and reschedule. Stephen B. was my hairdresser and he is no longer working there due to a severe accident he had in his home. These new owners need to realize that a business takes a lot of work and expense and not express their rudeness towards the customers.

My daughter had the Queen treatment for her prom glow up! Makeup and hair looked absolutely stunning and it genuinely didn't break my bank account. My hair is extremely long, curly/wavy and thick.
