Ive been here several times. Disappointed each time. The gel manicures I have received have been very messy. Nails were left ragged on the edges, uneven, polish was thick and uneven at the cuticle. Left with what felt like more polish on my skin than on my nails. She rubbed the lotion in on top of the drilled off nail polish powder residue that was all over my hands and arms. I won't be back. Found my new nail spot ! I love it here ! Although I enjoy treating myself for a nail service and pedicure I prefer not to spend all day in the nail salon. Every time I come, I'm brought to a chair within minutes if not right away. The environment is clean. The workers are polite and helpful each time . Both myself and my husband enjoy my nails each time I come here and the prices never change. Sometimes when you go it's 10-15$ more with the same service at different salons but every time I come I know how much is it and with the quality of service, they have definitely gained a loyal customer with me ! read more

I really wanted to give them a five, but the experience with the guy that did my fingernails left me wanting. We arrive and quickly found ourselves seated. Everyone seemed warm and inviting. The other guy, didn't get his name but he had hair slicked back with gel. His right pinky nail was very long. He was condescending and forceful with moving my hands around his workspace. I absolutely love this nail salon. I moved here from the West Coast 3 years and I was skeptical on finding a good place. I have absolutely great things to say about them each and everytime I go there. It's funny because almost everytime I go and I go every 3 weeks, there will be a high maintenance woman near me getting her nails or toes done and the things I hear coming out of their mouths to these nail techs are unreal. These women act so entitled and they show so much disrespect. All I can say, is go there. I usually go to the same guy everytime but when I do a walk in and he's busy or he's not there, I'll have any of them do my nails and my toes. They are all fantastic!! I've posted one bad review already but didn't learn my lesson. I can't be the only person this has happened to. Nail tech was polite but grated my feet down until I had open sores. I just spent 2 days in bed letting my feet begin to heal from the $65 pedicure experience. The tool & gel used to remove dead skin should be illegal. And she had to have seen the blood. Did she think I wanted smooth skin at the cost of not being able to walk? At one point I remarked my feet were burning and looked down to see a chunk taken out of my heal. Stopped by as a walk in while visiting my friend. She gets her nails done here regularly. It's a large space with one section for manicures and another room for pedicures. Lots of staff here on the weekend. I tried a dip for the first time. Minimal words from my manicurist. She motioned me where to put my hands. I get manicures once in a blue moon but when I do I always feel like a newbie. I wasn't sure how this dip thing would work but it turned out great! Lasts longer than gel. I finished before my friend did and her manicurist was very chatty and friendly and took her time. I'm thinking it might be a better experience for regulars than walk ins but since I came out with great nails I would come back. read more

This is the third time I've tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt as like a last minute resort and the results I got each time where that of a last minute decision. Does anyone there know how to do a manicure? I asked the lady doing my Gel Manicure to even all my nails off she didn't seem to understand a thing I was saying. Then when I demonstrated to her what I was talking about she complied, after I asked her to lean the under my nail she didn't even attempt to properly clean the cuticles, as I asked for that as well. Then when it came to applying the Gel polish she applied it very sloppily as the drying on my nails reflect that. She applied 5 coats and I'm seeing as I left out that they are uneven and they're bubbles within my gel coat. I do NOT feel that this is reputable $35 work! read more

Update on my review. I went back today to give them a chance with my toes. I was paying my bill and the guy manager pushed into me and then punched me in the arm and didn't say a word after he did it, he just looked at me . My only guess is he saw my review and didn't like it. I was in shock that he hit me and just smirked thinking maybe he was playing but he didn't say anything. I didn't react but I was pretty upset when I left. I have a ball attend tonight and may have a bruise on my arm. I'm not sure wether to call the law to have him arrested for punching me in my arm or just let it go. read more

I'm writing this review for my wife since she would not go out of her way to write a negative review for a business but I will. My wife had a gift card to Posh Nails. She went to the location in Lexington. The gift card was for $50 so she asked to do the $48 pedicure and NOT the upgraded gel nail polish service. The person doing the pedicure did not speak great english, but my wife was very clear she did not want the gel polish. The person doing the service said "Oh but you are wearing tennis shoes and the gel polish dries fast". My wife shook her head no and said "That's ok I still do not want the gel polish I just want the standard pedicure". She did not realize that's what they were doing to her feet anyways and when she went to check out the cashier charged her $67 and my wife insisted that's not what she came in for. The cashier argued with her saying he overheard the conversation and my wife had told them it was ok to go ahead and get the gel nail service. My wife is meek and non confrontational but she went back and forth with the cashier again and again saying that she told them "It's ok I do not want that". I know my wife very well and I'm confident she was very clear with what she wanting and I suspect that this nail spa tried to scam her and take advantage of her. If the cashier claims to overhead the conversation then it does not matter how broken of the english the actual pedicure person was, they would have clearly understood what my wife was saying if they really heard the conversation and would not accuse her of saying something else. I try not to assume the worst but I am willing to take 5 minutes to review them online and say they scammed my wife by pretending there was a miscommunication due to their language barrier. read more

I only took one star off because I set an appointment online for regular acrylic fills (I can't do gel) and they accidentally put gel on and wanted to charge me for it. Fills are $20 and they said $35. I said no this is regular, they said oh you didn't want gel? I said no and I even put that in the appointment notes. They said we will take $10 off so you pay $25. I wasn't really happy paying an extra $5 for something I didn't want, but they convinced me to pay $5 extra instead of them taking it off and redoing with regular polish. They should've just charged me for what I asked for and clarified in the appointment notes, but whatever it's $5 so I just paid it. Will probably be back. read more

I came here with a friend because I needed to get my nails done before an upcoming trip. First and foremost, the place is spacious and to be as busy as they were... the manager was attentive to every person that walked in the door. My friend was getting a pedicure, so I was encouraged to sit with her and soak my nails. I was getting an SNS manicure. Not to mention, the mimosa offered was much appreciated! However, two stars were deducted once I moved over to a table to get my nails done more efficiently. The nail tech was great, but instead of showing me all of the nude/natural colors he grabbed bubble bath and said that it would natural. It is important to note, that bubble bath is not the same shade for all places and in this case, it was more of a pastel pink than a natural hue. I liked the color but would have appreciated actually seeing all of the natural colors instead of just being told that it was the most natural one they had. Next, with SNS I prefer to have my nails dipped 3 times... the tech was perfectly fine with this and even took his time to file out all of the buffs/lumps... but that's where it stopped. The top clear coat (shiny finisher) was painted over my nails instead of them being dipped in the clear powder a final time before the painted finisher... therefore, resulting in my nails drying and you being able to see the file marks under the smooth coat. This doesn't happen when the nails are dipped in the clear coat before painting the finishing polish. I tried explaining this to the tech because this isn't my first rodeo and he explained that it would smooth out as it dried.... it didn't. Not to mention... the manicure part was him bringing over a bowl of water after my nails were "drying" and clipping my cuticles over the bowl... I didn't soak them. Looking around, this is the practice for those getting a manicure in addition to gel or SNS. Being that I'm not from the Columbia area, I had to get the file marks corrected when I got back to Charlotte... wasting another hour of my time. Overall, I think they are efficient with getting people in and out. But I would like for the nail techs to not be so dismissive to the requests of the clients. First time customer. I was in desperate need for a mani/pedi and my friend brought me where she goes. I came from Atlanta on a visit and I'm particular. We were Walk-ins on Sunday, limited hours but they got us in. We were greeted by a Caucasian girl but the rest of the entire shop was Asian. They're all friendly and speak English well. Offered alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with your service. Mounted TVs with good shows. Warm/hot fresh water in the chairs. They even had Kids spa chairs. Paint job on my toes by Francis (male). Didn't like the white polish he covered with bright orange and it's perfect. Hands done by Michele. There's a system in place and you can tell. The person who greets, seats and serves. Then you have the person who asks about your services and sets up the chair, cleaning supplies and then your technician comes in. That's awesome ! It's pricy but I got the Posh Pedi $32 and full set with Ombre dipping powder about $55. Left tip on my card for 15% and everything was @ $100 total. Hey! Go ahead and treat yoself!! Haha read more

Everytime I go there I am disrespected in some way whether it's telling my natural nails are too dark for white polish (which is offensive and a lie because I've had plenty of ppl paint my nails white) and the last time where I'm being told what I'm going to get and what I'm going to pay for after I ask before and during the process how much it will be. They are unprofessional and instead of discounting your nails they give you a gift card.... If I'm so upset why would you feel I'm coming back!? The gentleman who took care of me was knowledgeable and listened to my requests, but I definitely felt that the experience was very rushed. I left with an okay manicure. I had to go home and buff off a few little sharp burrs that were left behind and I wish my nails were a tiny bit more even. I might give the place one more try. I told the tech that I wanted to change from jail nail polish to regular polish. immediately, she began to tell me that there will be a five dollar charge to remove the gel nail polish. Just moved to the area and everyone recommends this place so I gave it a try. I asked for a manicure and dip on my natural nail. I got my cuticles cut and dip polish. I had to ask for cuticle oil and lotion for my hands. The service was not worth $46. The basic pedicure was okay, but not worth $34. This was my first visit and most likely the last.
