I have been a customer for 5+ years. I love that I can get in no appointment and have been very happy with both full sets and pedicures 99% of the time (the one time my manicure came off in huge chunks by day 2, the issue was resolved to my complete satisfaction). However, I DO NOT recommend buying gift cards there ever. I tried to use a gc I received for Mother's Day and it showed no tender... this is the 3rd time over the years this has happened. Gift cards are not out in the open to just grab. Staff has to get them, the amount is written on the display card and then activated with the amount (or not I guess). I have used gift cards there that worked fine, but it's about 50/50. Money is too hard to come by to risk it IMO. So patronize them for a good pedicure, but don't ever ask for a gift card from there. read more

Extremely isappointed. I called before i came in. They said they had no wait & could get me in right away. When i walked over there from the grocery store (because there was no parking in their lot). They sat me down. I waited about 35 minutes until someone did my nails, i just had to pull out hang nails in both my big toes. This used to be my favorite nail salon but the customer service has declined tremendously. Some techs are great and then some rush on your nails. Before you get a full minute under the UV light to dry your nails, they're placing another coat, despite you asking them to allow it to completely dry first. Some of us have been getting our nails done for at least 20 years and know when we're receiving "a rush or mediocre" job! It's not okay. If you charge me $100, take your time! The polish doesn't last long, you need a fill within a week's time, and no one allows you to wash your hands anymore so I've left several times with cotton particles stuck underneath my polish and it's visible. Stop rushing, take your time, or lose your customers. The manager is the worst! He did my nails once and rushed on my polish and would not correct it despite me attempting to stop him many times. You can forget about having a decent cuticle trim or callous removal. You're going to leave with chunky, uneven nails, scantily polished, and will need them redone within a week. Pricing and quality! One day you go for a fill in with 2 nail design it's 62... two weeks you go back and it's 75 dollars and within one week you need a fill in and polish is chipping! When a full set with two nail designs are 72 dollars! No consistency at all just depends on their mood and your tech. For the price my nails should be top notch for two weeks! Definitely won't be back! They've played in my face too many times. read more

To be frank, I was quite disappointed in my visit. The male nail technician was as friendly as ever but his application seemed rushed. It was messy, I had acrylic on my skin, and the gel polish was applied carelessly. On the other hand, my friend had a great experience and came out with a beautiful baby boom nail! Please don't even bother wasting your time or money here!! I get my nails done every 2 weeks and I have for about 10 years now so I know a crappy rush job a mile away and that's what you'll get here. I've never been to a salon where I have to constantly watch what the nail tech is doing or they miss steps, do crap paint jobs, get polish on the skin or in this last case don't even file your nails after applying acrylic!! I was in Sunday for a full acrylic set and gel polish. I had to constantly ask the tech to fix things. I wish I had been paying attention the entire time she was doing my nails but I had my daughter with me so I was talking with her for most of my time in the chair and honestly I was just tired of asking her to fix my nails every 2 minutes. Unfortunately it wasn't until she was applying the gel polish that I realized SHE NEVER USED THE DRILL FILE TO SMOOTH OUT THE ACRYLIC AFTER SHE APPLIED IT!! So now after waiting an hour just to get seated for my nails to be done I'm looking at lumpy, wide, uneven nails. Great! Instead of waiting another hour for another new tech I decided I would come back the following day and ask for a more seasoned tech. I come back the next day and explain to the man behind the counter that I was unhappy and why. He walked around and looked at my nails and even felt them and agreed they were bad. He said it would be no charge and no problem. I waited another hour!! In that hour I watched 3 nail techs go home. Finally a man, whom I believe is the owner, seats me. He starts filing the sides and ends of my nails with a hand file and 5 minutes later says "okay all better" ummm.....NO! I explained again how I was unhappy with the lumps and wanted the gel filed off and the acrylic smoothed and then the polish redone. He told me that my nails are fine and there was nothing wrong. When I disagreed he told me that it would cost me $27 for him to do that (mind you I just spent $70 on the same nails the day before) so after telling me my nails were fine and there was nothing wrong he had another tech apply another coat of the same polish I already had on to cover where he filed (I had to ask that they at least do that because he just wanted me to leave with half of my polish now filed off and called it "fine") wow this is a long review. Well bottom line, they were rude, money hungry and refuse to fix their employees mistakes. Such a bad experience - I'm asking for a refund. 1) The manicurist barely trimmed or pushed back my cuticles 2) My nail shape is uneven nail to nail, some nails are round, some are square round 3) Within 3 days my gel manicure started chipping (this shouldn't happen I go to two places in Atlanta and have NEVER had a gel mani chip in less than a week) 4) My manicurist looked like she had just rolled out of bed - very disheveled 5) My manicurist kept coughing with no mask on... do you really want a sick person working on your hands? Bottom line- my friend lives locally and luckily, I live in Atlanta where there is a broad variety of nail places - more specifically ones much better than "Bliss." I will never be back. read more

Really disappointing 12 minute gel manicure. That's right, 12 minutes. A new record and no one else was waiting. The gentleman didn't clean my nails or do my cuticles. The paint was uneven, bubbling and left not filed. I had to go elsewhere to have them fixed. Sadly a waste of time and money. read more

Prices were not bad, not great either. They do offer free drinks! My nail tech was literally wearing a shirt with the F word on it, so I would be cautious about bringing kids there. The inside was nice and clean. They do charge an extra $3 to cut down your nails which is very annoying to me.. but I liked how my nails turned out though and will be back. read more

I have gone here twice and this time was the worst. I walked out this last time because of the wait. I came here on Sunday and I asked the lady at the front how long is the wait she told me there was no wait and I was escorted to the pedi-bowl. I sat down and waited and waited. I waited so long the water turned cold. They came over changed the bag and ran the water again. I waited and waited over an hour and the water turned cold again and I was pissed at this point. I was told I was going next but I seen a women who walked after get her pedi and leave but then I seen women who came in after me and sit down and start on their manicures. I told them I wanted to go and I needed a towel to dry my feet. I walked out and the nail tech gave me a $15 gift certificate for my inconvenience. Do not go to this nail salon! The service there is absolutely HORRIBLE! I went in for a regular mani/pedi and noticed that other customers who were getting gel were being serviced MUCH quicker. I kept being asked if I wanted gel and I kept saying no. It was like they were trying to push that service on me. I was sitting for an hour and a half before asking how many people were ahead of me. After waiting another 10 minutes a guy finally came to begin my pedicure. In spite of saying that I preferred round over square numerous times, my toe nails were still square. My manicure was the worst I've ever had! After reminding them that I also wanted a manicure, a tall slim guy who I later found out was the owner, David, came and sat me at a table. I sat there for another 10 minutes before he finally brought a plain bowl of water to soak my fingers. He didn't put lotion on the cuticles to loosen and push them back, and I Had to ask him to get the tool and clean the dirt from under my nails which i told him was also not done to my toes either. He was up and down the entire time! My hand massage was merely him putting lotion on my fingers then telling me to wash my hands. After being there for 3 hours on a Thursday, I left without even getting polish! If you're not getting tips or gel you'll wait for hours to be serviced!! I simply wanted a regular mani/pedi which I haven't had in years! For this to be my first experience in YEARS, it left much to be desired! I'm so disappointed. read more

Seriously the worst nail salon ever. I've been getting my nails done for over 20yrs & in 4 different states. Had to go back 3xs this week Because the gel just peels off. I have tried to explain to the front desk guy (who is a total Dick) that u must cure each coat properly. He either didn't understand or just didn't care. Each polish change I explained this to each nail tech. They don't listen & rush the proceSS like they get paid by the piece. I am a great tipper-always over 20% too. Oh & get this---they made me pay the 2nd time $29 for a polish change when it was their fault that it peeled. Ive tried to be patient but I'm done-done. I'll just go elsewhere. There was a younger lady (she looked about her mid 20s) doing my nails. she was not gentle at all. i started bleeding and when i yanked my hand back because of the pain she pulled it back forward so she could continue doing the same thing she was doing before. the nails are not even and not even having them on my hands for a week 2 of them have already popped off. Please do not go here! I just left this salon in tears because I was asked to leave because my daughter who is 9 months old was getting fussy. I waiting an hour for a simple fill in and when the guy came and got me he asked me to leave my baby in her car seat by the door in a waiting chair. I told him no but he proceeded to ask me three more times to do it. We sat down and he pulled up a chair for my daughter and he began working on my nails. My daughter started babbling loudly and getting a little restless & he told me to come back at another time. I told him I didn't want to leave with my nails just being drilled down and he went to work on my nails again. My daughter started babbling again loudly (not crying just being loud like any baby her age would be). And he told me to come some other time without her. At this point I stood up and told them I was leaving. I went there to get 2 minutes and of me time and it ruined my experience for good. I've been to this particular nail salon several times in the past year . I was happy when they first opened because I had been looking for a cute, clean, professional spot in the Northeast area. Sadly, I do not plan on going back to Bliss -- for reasons probably beyond the establishments control. Yesterday I went in for the first time in a long while and was looking forward to getting a little pampered. I got a pedicure and a full set of nails. I have no complaint about the service, however between the time I moved from the pedicure spot and the nail chair my Rayban sunglasses were STOLEN from where I set them down. I'm not blaming the salon or their employees, however the fact that something like that would happen in space where you naturally let your guard down is really upsetting . I hadn't even left the salon and poof they were just gone . Like I said I don't blame the employees , but I just have a bad taste in my mouth now and don't feel comfortable going back. read more

I've been here on five different occasions. I left completely satisfied 1/5 times. I kept going back to try to achieve that level of satisfaction but today was my last straw. I'll try my best to keep this review short, simple and to the point. My technician rushed to polish my natural nails, got an attitude when I asked if she could fix two things, then I believe she started talking about me in her home language to her coworkers. She turned away from me, said something, then they all started laughing. At this point I was livid. I quickly let her know I was not pleased with her work, she tried to argue with me and I informed her and everyone else that was laughing know I wasn't paying until it was fixedbto my satisfaction.
