I was happily greeted at the door. I requested pedicures and full sets for my baby girl and myself. I loved our pedicures but will provide feedback that it could have been longer. It was like a race to get it done and that was the only thing I didn't like about the visit. The actual pedicure was amazing but it was over as soon as it started. I've had many so I can honestly say it was quick. I wanted the real spa pedicure feel. I was visiting the area so I'm thankful they had my color. Parking seems like it could be a hassle. However, as I was pulling up, someone was pulling out of one of the nail shop's assigned parking spots. I had some free time to myself and decided to stay downtown versus going to the northeast to one of the usual places I like to go.    It was a Saturday, and with that being said, it was packed and I did not have an appointment. The wait wasn't too horrific for them to be as busy. Some of the employees were welcoming, and some were just not. I actually debated leaving because I didn't feel comfortable. However, I believe he was the manager, stepped in and provided me with an update, reassured me with an update on the status of being provided a service, so I decided to stay.    The guy that provided the service for my nails was moving fast. A callus scrub is an extra, which is a bit bizarre to me because I thought that was always a part of a pedicure. I got gel on my toes. I was only shown one color ring and asked if they had additional color options. Another young lady brought me about two more rings, so I chose amongst those options.    My nails were not shaped properly, and they were really thick. I'm not one to complain at the nail shop because of the complicated process, so I said to myself, "They were good enough for me to get out of there." They didn't look bad, but they didn't look great.    The most disappointing part of the experience was after I left in my slides. I returned home looked down and the gel was peeling up! I was mad. I am not going to lie. I did call and message them on Facebook, and they told me to come back up and speak with the manager, but I never got another opportunity to do so between working and being a mom. Also, shortly after that, my nails started to peel up, so I just let it go, moved on, and returned to a previous place.    If it was an emergency, this place would probably be my second or third option. Once again, not terrible but not great, especially for the price. read more

I'm so glad I found Jolie Nails while I live in Columbia. I originally went to a different nail salon I found on Yelp, simply because they were open late on a Sunday. This place, however, has a much better quality of service and customer service. Over the past four months, I've done different pedicures, but my absolute favorite is the Jelly Pedi. It's like having your feet in fluffy sand, without the mess. I've received a few manicures - dip has become my go to. Alex promised my dip would last a long time, and it did! A month to be exact! My nail growth was a reason it was time to get them re done. I have a few more sessions here before I have to stay by to SC. Thanks for the TLC for all my nails. read more

Googled the closes nail spa to me and found Jolie. Got a brown gel coffee color with this pretty green Pearl chrome on top and fell in love! They did such an amazing job on repairing my two broken nails too. I love the shape and length of them. I had two people work on my nails and they were both so friendly and did such a great job on them. As far as cleanliness it was very organized and clean. Loved the interior! I was very surprised that I walked in on a Sunday at 3:30 and they took me in quick and finished my nails within an hour ish. For parking there is a pretty big lot that you can park in. My aunt and I went today to celebrate my birthday with pedicures and dipped nails. It was an amazing experience. We started with the Jelly Pedicures. The Jelly Pedicure is an experience that everyone should try. My feet and legs feel so good. They immediately wanted to know if we wanted something to drink. Water, wine, and mimosas were our choices! Vandy & Ivey took their time, made sure everything was right, and were a blast to talk to. I got my nails done with dipped and picked a design off of Pinterest. Bic did an amazing job and killed the design. The atmosphere was so nice. The chairs and equipment was very nice. I did not enjoy my experience here. I got dip powder that only lasted 2 weeks before it chipped off. At another salon, dip would last me 3-4 weeks. I noticed the dip starting to lift on the sides after a week and a half. When I was there I felt like the guy I had was rushing. All my nails after had bubbles in it and looked sloppy. I love coming here! I usually get a pedicure, an acrylic fill, and my eyebrows done. The staff is super welcoming and friendly here. They greet you at the door to ask what you would like to have done and then seat you according to the service you need. Michael has done my pedicure and fill several times and he is GREAT! This place is very quick and efficient. However, I am not sure that I would return. The man who was doing my nails was pretty rough with the filing and also left a pretty bad cut on one of my fingers. However, the nails were stunning. I got a full set of acrylics with gel. Awesome find! Visiting the area and the wifey wanted to get a mani and some nice nails for pictures. We found this place and glad we stopped by. Customer service was top notch and the owner was very nice to greet us and make sure everything was going great, definitely exceeded our expectations. They are apparently locally owned and we are so happy we can support a small business during current times. While we were just visiting, they treated us like we were regulars. A young lady that I met at Ulta recommended this nail salon to me and I feel like I wasted my money yet again. The nail technician was nice, but I don't think he was invested in ensuring that my nails mimicked nails in the photo I had shown him. Instead of almond-shaped nails that are a little pointy at the top, I ended up with nails that were thick & deformed. Some of the tips were crooked & If I rub my finger across my nail, I can feel how uneven the gel application is. I tried my best to correct him while I was there, but it seemed like he had his own idea of how it was supposed to look as opposed to what I wanted. read more

This is my favorite pedicure spa. Since moving here I have tried MANY different nail salons but no one seems to do massages during pedicures which is my favorite part. Very reasonable prices (luxury pedi is still only $55). I've never had an issue calling and getting an instant appointment (I like to call before driving over just to make sure). They are always full of people but have plenty of people working to accommodate. The only bad thing is it's not close to my house but luckily now I work close by and can go after work. They offer drinks and are very friendly. Parking is in the big lot if you aren't lucky enough to snag one of their designated spots. read more

Spent $135 for a mani and pedi with gel. Two nails chipped the very next morning not even 12 hours later! Another nail chipped the next day. Very disappointing considering the amount of time and money spent. They said to come back and get them fixed so I fixed two of them. I don't have time to keep going back to get them fixed and asked for partial refund for the gel which was $25 and they said only $20 if I come back they would credit, but I don't want to return bc they will chip again. Maybe faulty product? They said they couldn't refund bc they are small business. I won't be returning or recommending them. read more

Went in to have a nail fixed after I smashed mine while putting my suitcase in the trunk of my rental car when leaving the airport and stopped here when I made it down to Columbia. My nail was a mess and they were not only super helpful with directions of finding the location since I'd never been there before, but they also fixed my nail quickly and were super kind through the whole process. I went to get a new set put on and the lady pried my nails off using a spare fake tip and then used cuticle cutters to chip away at the remaining parts. This resulted in my nail beds being absolutely destroyed afterwards. Two of my nails were literally bleeding. She eventually brought over a bowl to soak my fingers in but the water was too hot for me to put my fingers in, there was literally steam coming up from it. When I brought this to the lady's attention she seemed annoyed and said we would just have to wait until it was cool enough for me. Once my nails were completely bare she called over a co-worker and spoke with them for a moment in a different language while pointing to my hand. After the other lady walked away the woman doing my nails told me that she did not want to do my nails the next time I came in and that i should not tell people she was the one who did my nails. Obviously I asked her why and she said it was because there was fungus on my nails and she did not want to have to deal with it again or be blamed for putting a new set on my nails when they were damaged. One of my nail beds is bruised and discolored, I can understand the confusion, but it was not fungus. Even if it were, that's a very common issue for people who wear acrylics and there is no need to make it seem like a plague. Also she clearly knew it would have been wrong to put a new set on top of an infection but she was willing to do it anyway. That is not okay. I asked her to just file the nails and leave them bare. She did not even file them well. She was rude, unprofessional, and abrasive. I was so upset I didn't even get her name I just wanted to leave. I called the salon once I got home to ask and was told her name was Tina. I am so upset and disappointed I always recommend Jolies to my friends and now I feel like I need to find a new nail place. Wonderful service with great color selections and nail design options. Highly recommend with appointment!

I went to Jolies with a friend because we'd heard of people going here before. The first time we went, it was great, our dip manicures were very quick (30 minutes) and looked beautiful. We went because it's the cheapest around ($42 with student discount for dip nails.) The nails only lasted about 3 weeks before the color was fading and the dip was chipping off. I then went a second time and was not sat until 25 minutes after my scheduled appointment. This time 5 of my nails were breaking off at 2 and a half weeks. I realized that since they can do it so quick, they do not dip many coats of the powder, and it is very thin so they can break horribly very quickly. I also asked my nail tech if she could trim the one cuticle that was sticking up and she said that it would be to $10 cuticle trim fee, and I denied because that is unreasonable to me, for one sticking up cuticle. I will not be back because now my nails have chipped and I have to wait for them to grow back out to get them done somewhere else. read more
