Never even at other places. Was told by owner i would get some money back then rude lady at desk told owner i stopped by and then got a texr telling me i was charged right at $95.00 but i was quoted $85.00 and charged $105.00. maybe this is why their place was empty when i stopped by.

I saw that Salon Envy was nearby and had great reviews so I scheduled an appointment with Marley. She was outstanding! She was able to easily fix my bad haircut. It's a small place - you could easily drive right past it - but it is spotless, well organized and was very busy when I was there. The energy was good - nice, friendly clients and staff alike. And my great haircut cost about 20% of what I normally paid when I lived in the Chicago area. Highly recommended!

This one had great reviews so I thought I'd give…read moreit a go, stopped by the salon and the gentleman working did greet me and asked if I needed assistance, I told him I was looking to make an appt but he was the only stylist working that day and was currently with a client so he suggested I call for an appt. I completely understood, he was very helpful, I wish I would have gotten his name. I've tried calling for a while, no one ever picks up or calls back when you leave a voicemail. Stopped by today to try to make an appt, there was a few stylists working, all with clients, wasn't greeted or acknowledged but it's hard to know when clientele walks in when there's a big wall blocking the line of sight to the door and no reception to acknowledge clients stepping in, I left after 20 minutes and tried calling in, still no answer. I can't speak for the work of their stylists, though pictures seem like the work is good, but not even being able to set an appt is a bit frustrating to say the least. I've given up on my pursuit to give this establishment a try but wish luck to anyone wanting to try

I have very thick type 4 hair, so if your hair is similar, I would strongly advise against going here. I've been natural for most of my life, and now I might have to cut my hair if my curls don't bounce back. This was my first time visiting a Dominican hair spa, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I didn't realize at the time just how much heat was being used on my hair -- but now I know. Because my hair is thick, they used a lot of heat, and I'm really disappointed that I might have to start my natural hair journey all over again. If you can, stay far away. -also I have gotten my hair straightened before and my curls went back. This has never happened to me.
