The customer service I always receive here is amazing! They take the time to help me find exactly what I'm looking for and offer to order an item for me if it's not in the store. Can't say enough good things about this shop. My dogs love it as well as they are always are welcome to come in and shop with me. I strolled in here with my pooch after having lunch with a friend next door. I saw a sign for doggie ice cream and wanted to check it out. Cute. They a few carry organic, natural and holistic food and treats for dogs and cats as well as fun and unique pet accessories, toys and bedding. While shopping, I was able to meet the owner who was a young and very friendly women. We talked about our pets and she was more than helpful. In fact, after telling her how picky my dog was and how difficult it is for me to come home with a bag of treats she's never had, she let me have my pup sample them before purchasing. The best customer service ever. I left with a couple items, and it was well worth it. Mind you, this is a boutique so some items can be a tad pricey. But really, she was so sweet and helpful - I'd come back here again if I was in town. read more

I'm definitely a fan of this place. I bring my young female Pug in here from time to time. The same woman(owner?) is always there, and she is happy to help anyone who walks in. She will hear you out and get you what you need. We talked about this and that; she was fostering some kittens at the time, and we got to go back and see them. Even my Pug girl got to say hi! But in the face of her over-excitement, the little puffballs just spat, mostly, so we cut that short haha. No harm done. But very delightful, regardless. As weird as it may sound, my Pug is a picky eater. We found some treats there that she would actually take. This is after trying samples here and there, and wasting money on 2 bags of treats she wouldn't take. She tried the chicken jerky, which actually felt like real, decently soft jerky in my fingers. It was natural, and didn't have that stinky commercial dog food smell. Very nice quality. We also tried some ice cream in sweet potato flavor, and it was definitely a hit! Karibi(the puglet, of course) cannot get enough of it. I was a bit apprehensive just because I figured the cold of it would put her off, but once she got that flavor, she was hooked. We now use it as a rare, very rewarding treat! Lastly we purchased a nice little red plaid coat for her. It's getting cold out and she shivers nonstop when she's not feeling warm enough... makes it very evident, y'know. But with this, she's definitely much warmer. It's not constricting or anything, and the edges could be folded so that she fits it now and will fit it as she gets bigger as well. This was about a month ago, and it still fits just fine, with room to spare. It's nothing with jazz or frufru, but if you like that kind of stuff for your dog they do have that, too. Personally I try to think practically, and just get my pup what she needs, though. They did have some snazzy little outfits for those who aren't as "stuffy" as I am, I guess, & want to "accessorize" their pets... oi. As the reviewer below said, they are a bit pricey. But that is to be expected in any "boutique", I suppose, haha. But with the service you get, and the array of highly valued items... it's definitely worth your time and that extra bit of money, if you have it. Check this place out. Went in for the first time today looking for a specific dog food (my normal retailer was out). Girl at the counter didn't look up from her cell phone once. I walked around the store for a few minutes, clearly looking for something. Then I walked up to the counter and stood in front of her and she still wouldn't look up from her phone until I had to say "excuse me?" She was then rude and uninterested in my inquiry, acted like I was inconveniencing her by being there. Posh Pets lost my business today, and I will not be back. Don't hire employees that will be rude to and ignore your customers. Go to PetValu or Winchester Pet Aquarium for all your pet care needs, their employees are actually friendly! read more

We place an order for 2 toys via their site. They charged our CC, but never shipped the products. Emailed them a couple of weeks later inquiring about the status of our order with no response. Finally got something in the mail from them, to the wrong location and the wrong products. Will NOT be ordering from here again. read more

I was hopeful about stopping by here for the first time this afternoon with an out-of-town friend, and the merchandise selection looks excellent if a bit overpriced (but, hey, it's a boutique, so that's to be expected). However, what was NOT expected was the complete dismissal/lack of service offered by the 50-60 something blonde-ish woman behind the counter. When we walked in, she didn't greet us. When we strolled past her, she greeted my friend with a curt "hi," barely looking up from her phone call. And when I went to the register to pay for an item I wanted to purchase, she didn't look up from her call at all - ipad and phone were her focus. I stood there for several minutes before realizing that she just wasn't going to take my sale. No smile, no nod, no hand-over-the-receiver-whisper of "Be with you in a moment." Nothing. After standing there like an idiot for several minutes with a friend that I'd been trying to show around Winchester, I finally realized this was a pointless endeavor and this store didn't want to take my money (or at least that employee didn't). I dropped the item, looked at the employee one last time just in case she was paying attention (she wasn't, even though I'd only been about two feet in front of her face) and strolled out. I can only suppose that they will never get any of my money, now - I've never felt so snubbed in any store in my life. read more
