Important Ida was also extremely caring and dedicated, and really went the extra mile for her dogs and her clients. Matt walked Mabel for three years and would still be our dog walker if we hadn't moved down the peninsula. Saying goodbye to him was one of the hardest parts of the move. Mabel thrived under Matt's care and is a happier, more relaxed dog for it. With Matt's gentle encouragement, Mabel went from being anxious and snappy around big dogs to walking up to greet them. No wonder she'd race to the door when she heard his keys jingling! After a day at the beach, on the trail, or in the park, she'd would always come home with a dopey grin on her face, plop down on her bed, and pass out. But Matt's care extended beyond exercise. He left daily report cards with details about each outing and posted photos on Facebook so we could see Mabel frolicking while we slaved away in law school. I was able to schedule a last minute consultation with Amal who was great with Shadow. The consultation was thorough, covered Shadow's dos and don'ts and what to expect. Now Amal comes over for a 30 minute mid-day walk 3 times a week and leaves detailed notes about how things went and even texts me photos as well as posting on their Facebook page.
