Hair on pizza
Bubbly R.

I usually don't have breaks during work so im always picking up and going when it comes to my food. My work gives me a few minutes to cover for me before I go back to eat but I don't think I can recommend this pizza place. I call them that I'll be picking up the food at a certain time and they said "okay it takes 5 minutes." As I got there and gave them an extra few minutes for my two slices to be ready, they still did not prep or heat up the pizza. I even called them in advance and yet they still were late for the food nor have the time to make it on time. I'm on a tight schedule and can't afford to wait more than 5 minutes for them to heat up my food and prep for it. Not only that, one of my slices contained HAIR on it, this was just so disappointing.... Probably my last time I'll come back here.

It's a favorite place by one of our team mates and highly recommended so we agreed to hold our Christmas party here. I did not know that they have a private dining room in the back. I thought that they only have small sit down tables for walk ins. We thought the place is just for take outs. We paid a prie fix meal. It was negotiated by one of our team members prior the reservation. For what we paid, the options are lot. Foods are delicious. The serving size is huge. We had Unlimited drinks and desserts. To top it all, the service provided was superb. We started at 3 pm and ended at past 6. We were not pushed away while we were enjoying our time. It was very considerate of the staff. It was a wonderful experience. Definitely coming back.

Decent neighborhood pizzeria restaurant. Good sauce to cheese ratio on their Sicilian with bite on the crust. I work in the area and from time to time will grab a slice or two. This review solely based on takeout pizza however I'm sure their dine in and menu is deserving of more stars based on many other reviews on Yelp.

Really good food, from the pizza from the salad appetizer entrée pasta seafood, I have not had one bad dish here. In the past two decades, I've been eating here I've actually eaten in dining maybe eight times and take out a few dozen times. it would've been more than a few dozen takeouts only if their foods are less salty. I enjoy their food 100% every time, two hours later I'm drinking lots of water. I still love the food, if less salty, I would eat here more often! It is a cozy place back in the dining area and they have several tables up in the front for more casual. Service is always good. If not, you can bring it up and they'll fix it for you. They are really generous with their bread, they load up fresh rolls and garlic breads for you and they are really good! Very happy they are here! I don't like they charge 3.5% credit fee!

Awesome casual Italian restaurant! The food, service and wine is all top notch and affordable. You will not be disappointed with anything here, especially the huge portions. I'd highly recommend the Rigatoni Vodka, Chicken Paillard and pizzas. And the complimentary bread is delish! Positano would be good for any occasion and can accommodate families and large groups.

Ordered pizza here several times and we were happy with most of them. I remember one of them was very heavy to carry home lol! There are some seats inside if you would like to eat here fresh. The owner and staffs are very friendly. Note there is a charge for using credit card.

Cappuccino, so delicious

Let me start by saying that the staff is wonderful. The Food is very good, the veal sorrentino is delicious. The waiters are amazing very polite, very attentive and knowledgeable about their menu. Prices are very reasonable. The appetizers calamari, stuffed mushrooms, and baked clams were great. The wine is good and the desserts were delicious. We had a party of 14 people and everyone loved it. All the food came out quickly and was amazing. They served zeppolies and fresh strawberries...so good, the cheese cake delicious, Tartufo so nice and lemon cake, reminds me of being in Positano Italy. They played so many wonderful Italian songs, everyone smiles, so nice!

Haven't been back to Positano in many months Was in the area and suggested to my friend to go . Homerun !! Portions are huge, we shared the. Chicken parm and gnocci in a pink sauce with mushrooms and onions and chicken. The gnocci are homemade, no frozen here . The gnocci are probably the best I have had. They are pillowy soft trust me if you go order the Gnocci .They will make them in any sauce you want. I usually get them in a Vodka sauce. Forget to mention the bread basket is always hot & fresh.

The kids and I dropped into Positano Ristorante Pizza for a quick lunch before getting some haircuts. This is located in a small shopping center anchored by an Hmart. Ambience: walking in, one is reminded of all the other small pizzerias in NY. The front half is the self serve "pizzeria" while the back is a.sit down full service dining. The pizzas on display were much less in quantity than most other places, but that can be a good thing, as any topping you ask for will be freshly added. The dining room for the pizzeria was a little small, as my little crew of kids ended up taking a third of the seats. Food: As is the case with most single slice pizzerias, most of the pizzas are pre-made and slices are re-heated in the oven for a few minutes. The plain cheese pizzas and pepperoni pizzas were good, but the Grandma Pizza was a little dry.

Take out counter (restaurant in the rear).

We only waited about 5 minutes on a Friday night... surprisingly quick! You can't go to a clam bar without ordering clams!!! Raw Clams: Fresh, large, and served with cocktail sauce and horseradish. Can't go wrong! Baked Clams: A must order! The breading was flavorful, and had the perfect crispy crunch. Mussels in White Wine Sauce: Generous portion with fresh mussels. The white wine sauce was rich, buttery, and perfect for dipping bread. Seafood Salad: My favorite was the calamari. It was perfectly tender with a bouncy texture, not rubbery/chewy. It also came with shrimp, scallops, mussels, and large crunchy croutons. Vincent's Classic Combination: We chose the fried calamari and fried shrimp. The breading was light, crispy, and not oily. The sauce leaned on the sweeter side, even though we requested it spicy. My only complaint is that I wish it came with more linguine. Napoleon: Light, flaky, and not overly sweet. A great way to end the meal. Overall, fresh seafood in generous portions with classic Italian flavors. If you're looking for a solid seafood spot, this one is definitely worth a visit! Highly recommend!

I had to change plans quickly as I looked at the specials they had going on that day wow! We decided to go with the duck and the monkfish main course entrees instead. Life is about making the right choices and this was the best decision I made that day lol! The duck was cooked to perfection soft on the inside crispy on the outside wow! I really like how juicy and fatty the duck was very succulent and delicious yummy. I especially liked the wine sauce on top among taste sweet with a slight tart to it juts the right balance I was impressed. Definitely one of the best duck dishes I've ever had it's a special so I'm not sure if it will be available when you decide to go call ahead would be my suggestion and your best bet. Laslty the side with butter squash was also a delight to eat and treat! Second course was the monkfish which was great as well. It had a slightly Smokey flavor to my pallet and a slight crunch on the outside maybe it was torched or seared not sure. Whatever the case it was a great touch to the dish very tasty and juicy as well. I love the sauce and the sides were great mashed potatoes with broccoli yummy! I highly recommend this place for brunch, lunch, or dinner take your pick. They will not disappoint you at all that's for sure. I'm not sure how this place is in the evening as I've only gone during the day. I hope the chef gets to read this and know his work is appreciated and noticed! The staff and waiters are very accommodating and knowledgeable about the entrees and food in general. Great service and energy I will come again and repeat whenever possible. I liken the music they play in the background it's not too loud and always sets a great tone for the place. The windows bring in great light and the decor is tasteful and elegant gives a bistro vibe to me personally. You might think differently let us know anyway. Run don't walk to visit this fine establishment whenever you're in the mood for Italian or seafood or a plain old good burger enjoy.

We were seated by the window as soon as we walked in. The entire staff was friendly and efficient. Our server, Joe, was outstanding. He was warm, genuinely personable, and served us with a smile that made us feel right at home. A basket of warm pizza bread arrived almost immediately and was the perfect way to start our meal. It was so delicious that I ended up eating most of the bread! I ordered the shrimp Parmesan with angel hair pasta, while hubby enjoyed the chicken Parmesan with linguine. Both dishes were served piping hot, generously portioned, and absolutely delicious. The portions were so hearty that we even had leftovers to take home. It turned out to be a relaxing and enjoyable afternoon. We will definitely be back again soon!

For starters, two kind of salads came out. The first one was a Caesar and the second one I had spring leaves feta cheese avocado and addressing already on it. I prefer the second one. They both were good however. The table was also presented with a serving of Calamari Fritté. I did not taste it. I don't know what they put on that rolls, but they came out warm with like a sweet glaze on the top. I'm assuming some kind of maple butter. I had three of those. Don't tell anyone Also as an appetizer was Tomato Bruschetto with pistachio pesto. I also have way too much of that. It was delicious and fresh. One main ain course was Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo. I don't eat shrimp so I can't tell you how that was. The other was Rigatoni alla Vodka which was very rich and good. Sauce tasted homemade and not out of the bottle like some places. I also grabbed another piece of bread with that. But again we won't talk about that. We have two proteins. One was Chicken Francese. It was very tender. A light crisp on the outside in a nice flavorful sauce. The other protein was Grilled Salmon in a butter herb sauce. I only had a few bites of salmon. I rarely eat salmon out because I don't know how it's sourced. The flavor was fine however. For dessert, they had fruit and a couple of cakes. One cake served was Gigi's Butter Cake. I think they put some crack in it because it is addictive. Very rich, buttery and served warm! I ate one there and took one home. Shhhhhhhh The other cake was New York style cheesecake. I can't tell you how that tasted because I also took that slice home. I have more cake than I can eat at the moment. If you want some let me know

I thought I was losing my mind until I checked my text messages and saw they sent a confirmation text asking me to press 1 to confirm or 2 to cancel. I pressed 1 and somehow the system canceled my reservation. I honestly think it's crazy for a restaurant to automatically cancel a reservation because someone doesn't respond to a text right away. I was sleeping and didn't even see it until about an hour and a half later. Huge turn off. I called and thankfully they added me back, but it definitely started the experience off wrong. Once we arrived, we checked in and sat at the bar while waiting for our table. The bartender took about 25 minutes just to acknowledge me and take my drink order, which was disappointing. When we finally got seated, I realized they were only offering a prix-fixe family-style menu for Mother's Day. I understand limited menus on holidays, but I think each guest should still have the option to choose their own entrée because not everyone likes the same foods. I asked if we could add an extra appetizer, and our waitress who was very nice checked with the manager and they accommodated us. The issue was they didn't bring the extra appetizer out until after the entrées came. At that point it made no sense, and when I asked if they could remove it from the bill, they wouldn't accommodate that. Now for the food: Chicken Parmesan: slightly burnt and lacked flavor Beef medallions: needed salt and seasoning Lasagna: way too much ricotta cheese Shrimp scampi: honestly tasted like a 3-year-old made it -- just noodles and barely seasoned shrimp with almost no butter sauce Not everything was bad though: The bread was amazing Calamari was decent Meatballs were really good Cheesecake was amazing Sangria was very good and definitely gave me a little buzz The table service outside of the bar was actually great, and the portion sizes were generous. Ambiance was ok, bar just looked messy. They probably should have more than one bartender at a busy restaurant like this. Especially on Mother's Day. Overall, I probably wouldn't return unless I specifically wanted the meatballs and sangria.

The menu encompasses a broad range of delicacies including a great assortment of appetizers, numerous panini's, hero's, pizza, salads burgers, etc, but the stars of our dining experience were the food entrees. We began our dining experience munching on a scrumptious basket of garlic bread. I've found, over my many years of dining, that restaurants that serve a great bread basket always follow it up with great food, and this was Mauro. After reviewing a litany of appetizer items, we chose absolutely delicious artichokes oreganata. We followed the appetizer with an order of luscious eggplant parmigiana along with perfectly cooked al dente rigatoni. We also ordered gnocchi with a sublime pomodoro sauce. The sauce was not something typically seen, in as much it contained a nice quantity of onions. For dessert we had a debate between chocolate cake or a cannoli, keeping in mind that the restaurant is owned by a great bakery. Our waitress, Samantha (Sam) who was outstanding throughout, said it's a tossup. We finally agreed on the chocolate cake. When the dessert arrived, to our delight, there was an order of light and very tasty chocolate cake, and a creamy & crispy freshly filled cannoli, compliments of Samantha. In summary, we had an excellent meal coupled with outstanding service what more can you ask for in a restaurant? If possible, I recommend weekday dining.
