I graduated with a B.S. - Accounting (campus) from Post in 2005 while living in CT. In 2016 I went for my M.S. - Accounting this time I did it online since I was living in FL graduating in 2018. Both experiences, campus & online, were fantastic, never having a problem that I can remember. The staff helped me anyway they could and the professors, especially in grad school were extremely knowledgeable, professional and easy to get a hold of. I've read the bad reviews on this website but living in the Waterbury CT area more than 1/2 my life (covering over 30 years) and working with many Post U graduates in the finance area for years at various companies I haven't heard of a problem. TIP: When the partner of a Connecticut CPA firm sends his daughter to Post to get her accounting degree that speaks volumes. read more

When I first started the school 2023 I believe it was great. They were on it. They were there, and now trying to get anyone to answer back when your former student trying to get back in pulling teeth, I don't think I call for a simple answer. have an email for a reason and I've been trying to get a hold of them for the past two weeks trying to see what I can do to get back in the class starting the 28th but obviously they don't care about students had to do what they had to do themselves to survive so that being said I them zero stars for not giving integrity, ambition, support, sympathy, and all that it's not giving even if I couldn't get back in that's all you had to say, but no, I feel like y'all tucked your table between your legs and moved and I was And a student mind you oh well I feel like I don't get a reply back soon or a phone call back, tomorrow or the middle of the week then I'm gonna apply to a new school because that's what I deserve. Not many resources, there's diversity among students but lacking with staff such as professors and other roles.

I enrolled at post university in 2019, since then I have received my forensic accounting certificate and will be walking across the stage in June of 2023. Speaking for myself this is a wonderful school and my advisors and teachers in whole have been wonderful and have helped me as well as checked on me to see how classes are going. If you are looking to go to college online, in my opinion this is one of the best colleges that's online to attend. read more

Got hired as an Adjunct Instructor. School didn't provide contract/offer letter prior to course starting so I resigned. I adjunct at several other schools and have never had any issues. Rather unprofessional and disorganized processes and practices. Also, as an adjunct, I was told I only get paid once during fifth week of the term. Seems a bit sketchy if you ask me. Definitely take a pass on this University. There are much better places to work. read more

I started attending this school as a military wife just after having my first child in 2013. I have bounced back and forth from full time to part time and took breaks here and there. I've had the same academic advisor who always checks in on me and has even called a time or two to see how I was doing. I thought going to school online would feel lonely, but Post has a way with making you feel apart of their community. read more

I have never attended this university and they are trying to charge me 2000.00 for classes that I never took so beware of this university I am now suing them for 5000. for fraud so be aware of this college I have also contacted the Inspector General in regards to this matter. The only thing that proved I was not at fault was all of my saved emails about not be able to attend. I am a new student and I know that may not say much. I really do like this school they are really nice and friendly and always talking to you if you need anything. I would have given them a 5 but there is some issue. One is that sometimes I fell that the teachers you have really don't care about how hard you try to work on things they have one favorite that is it. I am the type of student who really works her butts off to keep her grades up and I have one of the teachers now to where I work really hard and I still get a low grade. Another issue is I don't think we get enough time with our tutors. I use this a lot because I'm doing online schooling. I live in a different state and online works better for me since I'm in a different state plus I have kids. I wish we could get more time on tutorMe. Other then the two things I would say this school is really amazing I am here for another 3 years and I can't wait. Then I'm going to maybe come back because I am going to do another thing with my life. Right now I am working on being a teacher then next I want to come back and do the medical field. I've been taking online classes with this school for a year. I have never had /any/ problem getting in touch with an adviser. Usually I receive an email reply within an hour of my request being sent. As far as problems with teachers I've had only 1 and it was taken care of immediately after contacting my adviser, who forwarded it to the dean. I also had another class where a student was having problems the final project and again she contacted her adviser and the project was changed for the entire class. I often look up the teachers for my classes before taking them on RatemyTeacherdotcom and most if not all, teach at other, very prestigious colleges. My Marketing teacher also teachers full time at UCLA Berkley his name is Freddy Lee and my Public Speaking teacher was Jeremy Caplan, both were excellent and are at the top of their respective fields. I'm not sure what the motivation for these people giving this college such bad reviews, but it is definitely unwarranted in my opinion and seems more to me like they failed a class and are blaming the teacher instead of themselves. From college you get what you put in, regardless of online or in-person classes. Also online classes are not more expensive than class-room classes. The yearly cost is the same, but they are not subsidized the same way. So if you are getting financial aid, the max benefit you will receive from FAFSA before loans will be $7k per year. This has nothing to do with the college, but the way the laws regarding scholarships and grants are written. It's amazing what you can learn by sending a quick email to your financial adviser. ;) read more

Post has classes for degrees online. This works well for someone returning to school, working full time or filling in class time between family, work and sleep. However, One Criminal Justice teacher was very difficult to me. I dropped her class, thinking it was me, and retook it at a later time. Again, she is horrid. I checked the classes to see 90% or higher of her students do not finish her class. I was contacted by another student who was a police office, he too was having trouble. This is my last class before my BS so I ewas determined to finish. Her quizes were designed that you answer one question and move to next screen to answer next. However, you cannot go back and review your answers before turning it in or if you want to change an answer. We argued that in class, we would be able to review our work prior to turning in. Due to those methods, my Grade was just passing. That is difficult since most of my classes are graded with an "A" or "B". It didn't seem right so I did research on her. She was dis-barred in the State of Ohio, embezzled money from 98 year old twin sisters and mentally ill. She took vacations, bought new Mercedees and a house. I compared her photo's from Post U to the newspaper articles in Ohio. To confirm, I contacted the Ohio Newspaper and was sent the article directly from the source to be sure it was not just made up. Her bio at school said she retired from law. I told the school. Never heard anything else. I tried several times. My advisor said they we meeting about it and will get back to me in a week. NEVER heard from her, no matter how many times I tried to contact her, my advisor. My finally GPA for my BS was not shown in my grades. I asked several times but no answers as of this point. Someone told me they lost his records so cannot confirm her graduated. It is a constant issue with them. When they do worng and one trieds to get information, they just don't answer you. This school is horrible and I do not recommend it to anyone but especially military. One teacher by the last name of Hunt that teaches finance was without a doubt the worst teacher I have ever met. She mistakenly called me by a students name that wasnt even in the class, she would grade APA incorrectly and at the same time treated it like an English class when it was finance and learning how to manage banks! She graded off the rubric they handed out and when I followed it, she said it was incorrect! How can following the syllabus be incorrect? I already have my MBA and just wanted to specialize in finance courses but quickly realized Post University is not the place people want to attend. Avoid it at all costs, there are a lot of better online schools! I will never go here again and do not recommend it to anyone; its horrible. They do not know what they are doing! read more
