But the staff here is still giving the same exceptional, friendly and helpful service that made me love this place. Danny, the owner, was amazing, especially seeing that we had 10 packages to pick up. They've remodeled the place too, making much easier to find what you need and take advantage of all the services they provide. So many of these mail box stores are not up to par. But 1HomeOffice is top notch and definitely a five star operation.

However, the worker, Penny/Jenny, was very kind, respectful, and helpful. She apologized for the long wait and communicated with us throughout the process. She appeared to be the only one working, but she still handled everything with patience and professionalism. Overall, I had a pleasant experience because of her kindness and great customer service.

During my visit on a Saturday afternoon, my wait was 45 minutes. Which was fine, had plenty to occupy my time. Despite paying higher price's for shipping packages. My package which was going local to Queen's took over 2 weeks to arrive. If I am mailing off packages to the Southern part of the Country, it takes a week or so. The service left a lot to be desired, but that did not stop me from being thrilled to have my packages mailed out. The architecture of this majestic post office is on another level. The Corinthian colonnades, and the Imperial Coat of Arms of Prussia. This specific design is carved into a decorative, hexagonal ceiling panel, which is commonly found in historic government buildings, palaces, or university halls constructed during the Prussian era or German Empire.

When I called their Supervisor to let her know that I will not continue with my mailbox rental after the end of June. She immediately told me that they need an extra month's notice, and additional $87.10 just so the mailbox stays empty until someone decides to rent it. Because, I will not be using the mailbox. Outrageous and disgusting policy to basically charge an additional $87.10 for non-usage of a empty mailbox, just because the ownership is money hungry. I do not recommend this mailbox service to anyone, if you don't want to find out that after 2 years of being a customer this is how they will treat your loyalty and business. With a party of three to drop-off one measly package weighing 2 lb., there was only one employee to serve at least six customers. The other employee was doing other off-the job nonsense but assisting customers. All in all our party stood waiting an eternal half hour to be serviced ensuring that our package was shipped out on a Friday night for arrival tomorrow--Saturday. I agree with the first reviewer- "very unpleasant and unapproachable" but with the strong emphasis VERY.
