I had sent messages and emails to the therapist asking about certain credentials not Listed on the website and if she treated certain problems No responses to any messages. No confirmation of my cancellation of appt. Or that a credit was made to my bank account yet. Highly unprofessional demeanor.and etiquette . I would not recommend this provider. What I LOVE about Posture is that they don't just offer "massage services" that end after 60 minutes. They offer genuine care and correction that's meant to hold an impact even *after* you leave. When I get work done by Julie, I feel as though she's fixing everything that's been broken. She seeks out problem areas and doesn't just take care of them, but offers suggestions on how to prevent the problem from coming back when you leave. I love that. Few places care about what you do after you check out, and you end up hurting again in a day or two. I've had TMJ related issues for years. In fact, around the time I started seeing Julie I was told I'd very likely need surgery to resolve displaced TMJ discs. The moment I mentioned it in my first appointment with Julie she got excited and wanted to focus on it. For roughly a year she helped me release tension in my mouth, jaw and head. The cranial work is so soothing it often times made me fall asleep. A couple months ago I had another MRI done on my jaw and my doctor said I was clear to avoid surgery and move on to another form of treatment. There were a number of things I did to help with my TMJ situation, but I strongly believe Julie's work played a significant role in helping me avoid surgery. I've since moved away from Connecticut but I'd strongly recommend anyone to see Julie for any ailment, especially if it relates to your jaw. read more

Julie is a structural integrator. Sessions with her feel like body work, not massages. You leave the sessions feeling physically different. You can visibly see the change after 1 hour. I went through the 10-session structural integration two years ago. The before and after pictures were amazing! It made a huge difference in my posture. I just started another 10-session round. Session 3 (the lateral line) was last night, and I've been noticing the freedom in my shoulders and sides all morning. Julie does amazing work. I highly recommend her. If I had only found Julie earlier in life I could have saved my back years of pain. Instead of spa like massages that temporarily only alleviate the pain she corrects it and and help me understand how it's all connected, and how I can work on it on my own.
