None of these women were accustomed to studio recording and were quite nervous. Not only was Charles extremely warm and professional, he coached every each of them into delivering their monologues with passion and conviction, just as they had written them. We had a wonderful experience. He's meticulously detailed in sound editing and does a fantastic job of communicating. WARNING: do not rent from this company. I am not sure what happened, but it is a become a fraudulent business. Luckily, I only paid the $20 reservation fee to reserve a piano rental, but the piano was not delivered as promised. Just days prior to the delivery date, Cameron emailed me to confirm the delivery. After the delivery date and time passed with no delivery I called and emailed Cameron several times with no response and no refund. I drove to his business address as shown on Yelp and the shop is no longer at that address. Also, the address on the website is a post office box. Be very careful if you still want to try and rent from this company.

After trying to confirm the delivery with a few unanswered phone calls, he finally called and said he was rescheduling for the next Day at 10 AM saying "I won't let you down a couple times. Obviously she was getting ready for her big day so my son, the pianist and I took over from there. I tried to call and confirm all AM bc I had a lot to do and also wanted to visit with family. No answer. We arrived at the venue and waited & called and waited and called. I had to call around to get a piano delivered in 2 hrs. I also had to pay an extraordinary delivery fee to compensate the new company for the last minute inconvenience. I also missed out on many precious moments and was so stressed on a day that should have been more enjoyable. If you want a piano, go to Lee's piano. He was amazing how he jumped into action to accommodate us. Sean Lee was polite and delivery was smooth and the piano was in place before guests arrived. My son was happy with the sound and feel of the instrument. Now we have to try to get her deposit back and compensation for the fees we incurred due to emergency delivery! Update: Cameron responded immediately to an email request I sent concerning the event and refund/reimbursement. Citing a health issue, he said he will further evaluate my request in a timely manner. I will reevaluate my rating as the issue resolves. Update: later the same day, Cameron agree to reimburse us for the difference between his original quote and our $900. He says he will send a check out next day. I will update upon receipt. He seems like he is a nice guy. Says he is looking into how to avoid this issue in the future. Seems sincere and contrite. Update: I received my check for the difference of what I paid and the quoted price today.

Conrad mastered my band's home recorded and mixed EP. He was very affordable ($100 for two songs)…read moreand did it in a very timely manner. He managed to add a solid low end to my mixes, all while removing mud and brightening up the tracks. He mastered them for streaming services, and although he got them very loud in level, he managed to not brick wall them, which was nice. I've also seen Ben work a few times with recording sessions. He has a great ear and can offer great artistic input, as well. He even asked if we wanted him to shut-up and just record and mix, which is a good trait if you bring in your own project producer who's calling the shots. My experience at Polyphonic Music could be summarized by saying that the service was amazing. This one stop drum shop got me in and out on my leisure. Very patient and knowledgeable staff, able to answer all of my questions transparently. I learned about Polyphonic Music from craigslist, I was unaware of the kind of dedicated service I would receive from a small business. I have and will continue to recommend the service to friends, strangers, drum enthusiasts etcetera. Special shout out to Vincent for assembling a very portable customized "Frankenstein" drumset that I am able to take with me on the metro and play music outdoors. I have never reviewed a business on yelp! , but I instantly felt that the large amount of attention and care that I received from this small business was worthy of (re)writing history. 5 stars.
