In my experience, the pricing of some instruments and bows also felt disproportionately high relative to their quality. Charging premium prices is a business decision, and customers can decide whether the cost is worthwhile. What I found far more troubling was the apparent denial of prior work despite documentation I provided. In my experience, that lack of accountability and communication was deeply unprofessional and ethically concerning. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this shop to musicians who value fair pricing, quality workmanship, professional accountability, and respectful treatment of customers.

It has a small sign that does not catch my eye and is between a nail spa and a "cleaners". After all that I walked in expecting very little. A guy asked if I needed help and as I was still slightly miffed that it took me so long to find the place, I blew him off semi-politely. He kept asking and started joking but I wanted to hang on to being miffed a bit longer so I told him no thanks and continued to walk around. I found what I was looking for - piano music - but during this timeframe a young lady came in looking for an electric guitar. The guy behind the desk went right to work helping her, even though she tried to initially push him off as well. Within minutes he had helped her pick a guitar for the sound she was looking for, they were both sitting down and jamming, and he was showing her easier ways to transition between certain chords she was playing. Wow. The young man's name is Jessie. Absolute gold.

The idea of ear plugs for his sensitive ears. Picking out songs he likes so he can learn them with other kids. His teacher is great! And he is really enjoying it! The lessons are twice a week so it keeps drumming in his head. It feels like he is on his way to be in a kid band instead of stuck in a sound proof room playing patterns. We are very happy with the whole experience. The office manager is professional, smart and well organized. The teachers are talented and good to the kids. We will be here for a while! While sitting during the lesson, another student walked in and was told "oh so-and-so is no longer with us so this other person will be your teacher today." What? So you're not told ahead of time? (The mom asked when they'd known this teacher was leaving and it was two weeks prior, but they didn't bother to give anyone notice.) I find it strange that you pay in advance for these situations. Anyway. It's too poorly managed for me, which is too bad because it is certainly a great concept.

The size of the space is good for some smaller touring performers, and the sound quality has been excellent both times that I have been here. Service was pretty quick and the servers have been friendly. Further, the food that I have tried has been good and fresh, and they have a decent drink selection. While my service was quick, I arrived pretty early so there were only a couple others there at first. They seemingly only had one server for everyone, which is wild and things were more delayed once it got busier. Additionally, the tables are so close together it would be inaccessible if all seats were filled. The row on the other side of my table only had one person, yet it was still difficult for that person to get out because the other table whose backs were facing them had most spots filled. It was hard and disruptive for people to get out of their seats to go to the restroom and such because seats were super close together. Had both sides of the tables been filled, people would have either been stuck where they were or everyone else would have had to get up to let them out. The way that the tables are placed also makes it hard for some seats to see the performer(s) without fully turning their chair (which, given the space issues, wouldnt work for everyone to do). Anyway, I do like this venue, but I hope they reconsider the setup. While this may mean a reduction in premium price seating, it would be a much better experience for attendees.
