Blue and green pots purchased here.

This place has millions of pots and fountains. Away variety of colors, shapes and sizes, you are likely to find what you're looking for here. The prices are pretty reasonable and did I mention that the selection is huge? I got a beautiful green pot for spring.

I'm looking for a ceramic fountain and was referred to Pottery and Beyond. What a huge variety of pottery!!! From small to huge containers of beautiful ceramics. There were two sections of vessels for fountains and I was able to find one that I liked. Service is a bit interesting. Not the best customer service but it served my needs. Go on their website and if you signup, you get a 30% off coupon!

Came here looking for some rectangular pots for my succulents plants. I've driven by Pottery & Beyond, which is located across from Target, many times but never checked it out. It's a large open air business with many varieties of pots in various shapes, sizes and colors. The have fountains and statues as well. Their inventory is well organized by shape and sizes. In the back are inventory that were marked down at 30-50% off. I saw the rectangular pots and in the color was looking for, but they were not the size I wanted. A worker said they didn't have anything smaller. A good place to check out if you need pots for your plants. They have some parking spaces as you enter, but there are plenty of street parking out front.

Very cool store. You've all probably driven past this area a dozen times but unless you have need for pottery that you can hide an entire family in, you probably have never stumbled into this place. The prices for the size of containers you get here are really a very good deal ... but still a few hundred dollars (not counting what you'd have to pay for shipping / delivery) ... many of these puppies aren't going to fit into the trunk of your Prius. It was fun to walk around and look at all the water features and think - where would I put this giant thing if I could get it home? I've been thinking of setting up a rain barrel collection as a more eco way to water my garden - so this might have some options ... but that's a project for another day (and a bigger truck). They didn't have a great variety of small / medium / large pottery that you can pick up and go with.

After the longest time, my wife and I finally stopped over to see what's good. So with that said, the good is that it has a huge inventory. There are pots as far as the eye could see. Okay it's not that expansive but it goes go one for quite a bit. I bet you've seen it as you drive by, tucked away by the wrapping road. This place is fun to explore. The part that turns me off though is the service. I felt like we were being watched the whole time. There was always an associate floating around and at times just standing there looking at us. I think they mean well and just wanted to help but it made us feel rushed. We found a good amount of pots to give our plants happy new homes but I'm hesitant to come back. I don't really feel comfortable, being followed around.

Carlos was wonderful, knowledgeable, and he didn't force us to buy anything we didn't need, he even suggested something more affordable and practical. We will be back soon to get bigger pots for all of our monstera plants. Thank you for be kind and extremely helpful to us and keeping in mind our budget. We love our new pot for Madusa, to help her grow nice and strong after being shocked after a move. We even left buying a hand painted pumpkin from Mexico, wonderful way to support the small villages surviving from painting these breath taking pieces. Absolutely gorgeous

    Such a nice variety

This place is THE pottery place to go! It's perfect and has everything you would need. From indoor to outdoor pots, they have a variety of different sizes and designs. They also sell landscape stuff too and soil for those who are wondering. The owner/employee is very helpful and super nice too. We love this place so much, highly recommend!

I have only purchased hard furniture - i would go to a seating specialist for upholstered items. Prices are reasonable for what you are paying for - timeless and solid quality. Extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience with the West Elm Emeryville store,…read morespecifically with Lana, the store manager. I own a design-build firm and was working on furnishing a 3-bedroom, 2-bath home in San Francisco. The plan was to purchase most of the furniture new, with West Elm and CB2 as the main vendors under consideration. Aside from a Saarinen table and a few rugs I already had available for styling, nearly everything else was going to be sourced new. I booked an appointment earlier in the week for Friday afternoon and adjusted other appointments to make that time work. Then, on Friday morning, Lana called and immediately launched into a very rude and dismissive conversation about the appointment. Rather than asking thoughtful questions or trying to understand the scope of the project, she made it clear that they did not want to come out if I was not guaranteed to buy something. She said they keep the option open in case it is "not worth their time." That was incredibly off-putting, especially considering I was already styling the home with West Elm pieces and seriously considering West Elm for a large portion of the furnishing package. As a design-build professional, I work with many vendors, and this is not how serious trade or retail relationships are handled. When I explained that the short timing, the disruption to my schedule, and the lack of professional communication reflected poorly on West Elm, Lana was dismissive again and said I had already made my feelings clear. Immediately after hanging up, she sent the appointment cancellation. The issue is not just that the appointment was cancelled. It is the tone, the assumption that my project was not worth their time, and the complete lack of professionalism from a store manager. Based on other recent reviews, poor customer service does not seem to be an isolated experience at this location or with West Elm more broadly. I was prepared to source a meaningful amount of furniture through West Elm, but this interaction made it clear that I should take the business elsewhere. I would not recommend the Emeryville store for designers, builders, or customers expecting professional service.

I used to visit to find that hidden gem or get inspired to transform a piece of unwanted item into a functional item like a planter or garden art. This place is great for a DIYer or handy man as items have so much potential but can be a bit overwhelming if you're looking for something specific. My recent visit was to find a replacement window for a mini table-top greenhouse I put together about 15 years ago. Unfortunately, after a recent windstorm, 1 window broke and needed to be replaced. The original windows I bought were from a salvage/building resource spot in SF. At the time, buying 6 windows cost me $70 at most. Now (15 years later) for the same quality it will cost you $35-$60/window at Urban Ore. Ouch! I guess these windows may be used for a remodel of an older home. They do have another section for cheaper windows but sadly they look like the one I'm trying to replace...some wood rot, flimsy, peeling and weathered as they're not protected from the elements. Staff outside are friendly and helpful. Worth a stop to check out but some pricing on items a bit higher. Parking inside the gate and along the street.

I went to the front and offered to take the CDs they were sending to the landfill. I stated I had boxes with me - the staff seemed amenable however when the manage Claudio was asked he overruled them and stated "no" - the CDs are now on the landfill - I have a machine to resurface discs, a press to flatten creased artwork and thousands of cases - however a company who's catch phrase is "zero waste" dumped" thousands of perfectly salvageable items. I contacted Urban Ore via email, via messaging and tagged them in social media as well as posting on their own FB page - no response. People donate items to Urban Ore thinking they think they are keeping them out of the landfill - the behavior of Claudio shows that this is a lie and Urban Ore appears to be a scam.

They've got so many choices and it was really hard to narrow it down but we ended up going with the Vihals 6-drawer dresser. We saw it in the showroom, took a picture of where in the warehouse it would be, and once we got to the bottom floor it was a breeze. What wasn't a breeze was putting the darn thing together. 3-hrs on a Sunday to build this dresser was no easy task but we made it happen. If there's one feedback, I think written versions of the instructions would be more helpful. The pictures aren't always clear cut and sometimes it's hard to know left from right. Maybe it's user error but some verbiage of instructions would've gone a long way. We opted to skip the food court this time around because our last few times eating there it just wasn't as good as it used to be. After checkout though, they have a meatball sundae, which comes with 3 meatballs, mashed potatoes, and their berry sauce. It's a solid snack for $2.50ish. Their spicy mustard actually paired well with everything. I had the lowest of low expectations but actually it was quite nice to tide me over until we made it to actual lunch. The parking situation is pretty easy here, but it's far from the entrance. Make sure to wear some comfy shoes if you plan on buying bigger items.
