If you are a person of color, be cautious visiting this shop. The way we were treated was extremely uncomfortable and disappointing. We were completely ignored when we walked in, but suddenly acknowledged only to be singled out and accused of stealing--even though we had already purchased their items. The accusation was made in front of other customers, which was humiliating and uncalled for. The staff was rude and unprofessional, and the entire interaction felt like we were being stereotyped rather than treated as paying customers. Honestly, I regret not returning the item on the spot. No one should feel embarrassed or targeted while shopping. I will not be returning. read more

I happened to stumble upon this shop while visiting another store up the street and was pleasantly surprised to find that they also have a plant section, which is what initially drew us in. Unfortunately, the experience quickly went downhill. Upon arriving, there was no greeting or acknowledgment at all, despite staff being present. My sister and I browsed for a while, eventually purchasing a plant and then taking a look at the décor items before heading out. As we were leaving, a man followed us outside and asked if we had paid for the plant. This was incredibly uncomfortable -- especially since we did not see this done to any other customers. As two Latinas, the interaction felt targeted and left us feeling uneasy and unwelcome to the point that we considered returning the plant altogether. To contrast, the store we had visited just before this one greeted us immediately, made us feel welcome, and had a much better variety. Had we known how this experience would be, we would not have stepped foot in this shop or made a purchase. Was looking for some plants for a friend and came to waterlilies. With a name like this I expected this place to have plants but I guess I was wrong cuz only the front of it has plants on the more expensive side and the back has a ton of crystals and stationary and stuff? They even had this water moss ball thing that the other plant stores down the road sell for $10 cheaper. Overall I couldn't find anything cool plant wise but maybe it has good crystals. read more

I love this little plant shop. The staff is really nice and it's very peaceful in there. In comparison to other plant shop along the strip, I like the pricing here. I got a beautiful, mature, pothos for only $25!!! Besides plants, they have a variety of home goods and knick knacks that scratches the good part of my ADHD brain. I can spend all day in here. Stopped by while in the area because I saw plants hanging from the window from across the street! It's a really cute gift shop with so many unique items...but I went in mainly for the plants and plant pots. I didn't stay long but I did get a good walk throughout the store. There were stationary items, gardening tools, apothecaries, travel mugs and just so much more. I would love to come back if I'm ever in the area again. I ended up purchasing a plant and pot. The wonderfully patient man had no issue with N making a huge racket. Yes, we were the only people in the store, but we still grimaced as her hand hit the display case time and time again. However our furtive glances to the owner were only returned with smiles. Thank you sir, for making us the happiest family on Piedmont that day. N picked out a very reasonably priced, chakra laden, chime set. It may have not been our style, but the happiness it provided was not to be denied. I love Waterlilies! It's the cutest little shop that sells great home and garden items. We always stop by here whenever we are strolling down Piedmont Avenue. I love the orchid and bamboo products by Enchanted Meadow! They also sell these beautiful framed art pieces made with cut paper. We bought two of them with swimming coi fish. We didn't like the frames they had up on display, and they were very accommodating in ordering us the same pieces with our frame of choice. I don't think we have bought any garden items here (yet), but we always admire them. read more

This store is wonderful. I absolutely love all of the things they carry. I could hang out and shop and look around all day. My only negative comment is regarding the woman who works there. Unless you are buying something she is rude. If you buy something, she is very nice. Customer service shouldn't be a "sometimes" thing and it shouldn't depend on how much you spend. read more
