Things I've recently purchased from Kirkland's: An oversized…read moremap of the world that hangs above my fireplace A full-length gilded mirror for my bedroom A unique tv stand for the living room And a few other things I told my husband were gifts. Shhhhh I could spend hours in this store. Kirkland's has a great selection of pieces for every room in your house. This is a really good-sized store, too, so you are probably going to get what you need in-stock. Once upon a time, Pier 1 was right down the road from me. When they closed their doors for good, I was a bit bummed because I honestly had forgotten about Kirkland's. I don't go out to this side of town very often, but I was looking up home decor places online when I moved and lo and behold, Kirkland's popped up. I was so happy to walk back in their doors! Yes, there's Home Goods, and who doesn't love Home Goods? They've got a great selection, too, but I find the items at Kirkland's to be a step above. The store is arranged more nicely and is less picked-over. Sometimes at HG, you'll see things that are broken or dented in some way. I've never seen that at Kirkland's. Something else - they've often got a coupon or other discount you can use at the register, but I find their prices to be fair as they sell goods that are not cheaply made and rarely damaged. If you're looking for fall decor, Christmas decorations, something for Easter or Thanksgiving or Valentine's Day or summer, they've got you covered each season with fresh decor to make your house feel like a home.

This store is huge and almost set up like a warehouse. So many items to look through. I would find it hard to come here, and not see something you wouldn't like. My visit on this occasion, was for some ideas for pictures for a remodel I'm doing. They have a plethora of pictures, and other hanging wall treatments to choose from. I will becoming again.

Also much of it is stylistically outdated. There are only two or three places that sell very high-quality furniture in the western New York area. A simple google search will find them. The decision you have to make is whether you want to have good quality furniture or whether you want to have good enough. If you want good be the place, but if you want very good quality furniture that will last you for a generation this may not be your place.

That said, I can't deny the variety they offer. No matter what craft you're into whether it be sewing, quilting, painting, home decor, seasonal projects, etc. Hobby Lobby seems to have just about everything imaginable under one roof even if it may be extremely challenging to find/the layout of the store wasn't great... While I'd prefer to shop elsewhere when possible, I can see myself returning if I'm in a pinch or need something specific. I can admit it's a convenient option. Items for sale were all reasonably priced and there were around 160 vendors. It took awhile to decide what I wanted/needed to buy. Finally bought 3 stained glass flowers ($5 ea) to put in my planters and a pretty necklace ($18). I wanted another necklace but it had no price and there was no answer from the artist after the cashier tried to get a hold of them which is a shame because they lost a sale). I was visiting from another state but I hope I get another chance to go back.
