Up until we placed the order on Oct 30th, we couldn't have been happier. That being said, we were told that if we open and use an Ethan Allen credit card through TD Bank, we would be offered a 48 month interest free payback period. It was a no-brainer for us to open the card. We were approved for $8K but our purchases totaled $16K+. It wasn't until this point that we were told that we could only use the card, and therefore enjoy the 48 month interest free payback period, if we put the full total on the card. Since this was an impossibility, we were told we couldn't use the card. I have brought this to three separate people's attention on multiple occasions at Ethan Allen and each told me there is nothing they could do. I told them I never would have applied for the credit card had someone told me there is a possibility I wouldn't be able to use it. I then asked that they remove it from my credit history without it further negatively impacting my credit history. They all told me that was impossible. I said there should be some sort of monetary refund then and I never heard back from them on this. So now I have a useless $8K Ethan Allen credit limit against my name. Closing the card negatively impacts me too. Furthermore, the delivery was due to arrive in late January. We placed the order on October 30th. They said this is later than usual due to the challenges of COVID restrictions. It arrived two months after that due date. When it arrived, the delivery people called me and said they were already outside. I told them I was 20 minutes away and left work immediately. I called when I was 3 blocks away (on time) and they said they just left and couldn't return today. They didn't so much as call me again before they left. I was literally 3 blocks away and by car. When they arrived the second time, the delivery people told us the walkway needed to be shoveled better. We did that and rescheduled for a return visit. Before they scheduled, they asked us to take a picture of the walkway. We did that and they said it was great to reschedule. When they arrived again, they told us that it still wasn't suitable to deliver due to the walkway and also, our door frame is too small for the dining room table. They told us it needed to be 36" wide and ours is 29" inch wide. No one informed us of this before we bought the table. They dropped the furniture in the garage and my brother-in-law and I moved it successfully. We took the table apart and put it back together after we got it in. Still, there were 2 Pearce chairs that weren't included in the delivery. They didn't arrive until May 26. One of them was damaged in transit so they only delivered one and told us it would be 4-6 weeks for the remaining Pearce chair to be delivered. The furniture is fully paid off already and we still do not have our entire order. I called today and they told me that it won't arrive until early November----over a year after we placed our order. Disappointment is an understatement. Any company worth returning to would have taken measures to rectify their mistakes. The issues we have experienced were due to no fault of our own and we are paying the consequences. Despite knowing the situation, Ethan Allen has offered no recourse---they haven't removed the credit card from my name and cleaned my credit history of any trace of it and they have not offered any refund, which at this point should be substantial. We originally had plans to return to EA to furnish our upstairs also. Considering EA's lack of action to rectify despite months of trying to work with them privately to rectify it, we will not be returning. EA will continue to lose business treating their customers this way. It is my hope that EA rectifies this and makes it right. If so, I will update my review.

Purchased a very costly recliner from Ethan Allen that took months to have delivered. Within 45…read moredays the chair cushion frayed and I contacted concerning warranty. It has now been as long as it took to get a whole chair made and delivered and I do not have a replacement cushion. Nobody from Ethan Allen has come out to look at the chair or do any repair(s). I was given the wrong address to send piece of fabric to match the replacement. Complete lack of service. Once the sale is made and they have your money, they clearly do not care about you. You become just a number. I will never shop at Ethan Allen again and would strongly suggest others thing long and hard prior to trusting them with your business. Hope this review will help others make a better informed decision so you don't end up flushing over $2,000.00 down the toilet.

I really don't understand. why some people have not said great things. I am very very picky and their sales help was incredible, service, delivered on time, perfect! I can't remember the last time said perfect. Lastly HUGE shout out out to the movers! They were the BEST. Seriously. The BEST. We ordered a custom sofa from Sheffield with COM fabric. All dimensions of the sofa were clearly…read moredelineated on the order form, carefully reviewed by Sheffield, and signed off by Sheffield and us. The sofa was delivered with the correct fabric and looked good. However, we later realized that the chaise portion of the sofa was 3 inches narrower than specified on the order form. Instead of being 39" wide (interior) it is 36" wide. Sheffield has refused to do anything to make the order match what was specified, what they agreed to, and what we paid for. They claim that being 3" narrower is "within spec" and maybe a result of the fabric pulling it narrower. The fabric!?! Pulling a wooden frame in 3"?!? An absurb dodge to avoid their cost to rebuild the sofa as specified. Sheffield did not stand behind the contract that they signed to deliver quality furniture.
