We enjoyed shopping here for a couple reasons. One, it's real outlet with outlet prices and two, fantastic folks that work here. As you may know sometimes a store will say "outlet" or "factory store" but only pay lip service because they still charge full store price. But luckily this PB Outlet is not that way. It's a great place to buy last season stuff that you really liked but thought they were a little high. They also have final clearance stuff that are extremely great bargains. Visited 2/15/19- In the area and this is my first time inside of a Pottery Barn Outlet and I had high expectations of what the price point would be and the quality of the items. I absolutely love the store front at Lenox Square Mall and their website. But because I had an idea in my head what I wanted I was disappointed! There is tons of inventory, chairs, dressers, bathroom decor, children decor, everything. However the quality was lacking, I understand it is an outlet store but many of the items were completely broken and unusable but still had a price tag of $$. Because the store had many options it was somewhat junkie and very difficult to walk around. The obnoxious signs!!! "All Sales are Final".. I consider myself to be an emotional buyer and sometimes I change my mind, its crazy that I can return online and instore but not Outlet. (Shrugs) The Staff seemed very annoyed when Customers inquired about specific items. I don't believe I will return to this location and I will stick to the Leno location and online. read more

Recently I accompanied a friend looking for window coverings and practically everything in the store was an extra 50% off. 86-108" black out linen curtains for $55. After visiting the store for the first time today, I left feeling rather confused about what the point of this store is. I was expecting nice pottery barn furniture etc in nice condition but maybe it was last years model that never sold hence the discount price. To my surprise what this store really has to offer is a bunch of broken or damaged stuff that even at 50% of is a joke. The real question is who is spending a $1500 on a couch that looks like a Saint Bernard spent the last year sleeping and drooling on it. Mind you $1500 IS the 50% off price. Who is spending these kinds of prices on coffee tables with giant scratches and dents in it. I just don't get it. Half the stuff in that store is still in the box with no picture or real label on what it is. I swear I have seen half that stuff in a regular pottery barn for less than what they claim the MSRP is too. It's like they raised prices and then took 50% off to make you feel like your getting a good deal. Y'all, I love pottery barn...but that was a big joke. Almost comical. Just left Pottery Barn browsing for some shelves on Sunday, March 27th at 2:30pm and an employee comes rushing down the main isle of the store from the registers, turns the corner to where I am and asks, "Did you need anything". I said, "No thanks" thinking she was in the section to help everyone, but she quickly turned and walked as fast as she came right back to the registers talking to a sounder lady who as I passed by leaving, looked like the manager. I'm wondering if she sent her to ask me or if she did it on her own. In a store full of people, I get singled out. How typical!! Shame on you all!! I can't say what I really want to!! read more

The workers here are absolutely rude and of no use. If I could I would get this place no starts. The older lady with awful fake duck lips was very short and judgmental. We came looking for a nice down comforter already knowing they are expensive while she kept directing us to the clearance and "cheaper" and "more affordable ones for you" area. She wasn't just being friendly and hey this is a good deal we had just come from work filthy and insulted us by her rude comments and attitude thinking we couldn't afford it. It does not matter how much money you spend in this store--the staff will be rude to you regardless. This is especially true of a manager by the name of Angela. I have purchased tens of thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from them this year alone. They are an outlet, so in theory, everything you purchase is "final sale." However, it is their policy to either take back or replace anything that they sell that is not as described. For instance, if you purchase an item that is new in a box and you get it home to find that it's broken or damaged, they will take it back. I have, on a number of occasions, had this happen to me. Recently, I purchased a bed that appeared correct in the store, but when it arrived at my home and was set up, it was obvious why it was at the outlet. From the headboard to the footboard, it tapered about a foot as if the footboard were for a queen bed and the headboard for a king. Angela was willing to accommodate a merchandise credit, but only after making it clear that I was nothing special and that "most" of their customers are spending tens of thousands of dollars. She said they will not ever take anything back from me again--if you're following along, that's to say that despite their store policy, she's creating a special policy just for me. It seems backwards, but the more time and money you spend here, the worse they will treat you. Remember: EVERYTHING at an outlet is there for a reason. NONE of it is without flaws, some that are pretty damning. I would 10/10 NOT recommend shopping here. read more

Angela and the staff at the Pottery Barn Outlet have gone above and beyond to help me refurnish my home after losing almost everything due to Hurricane Michael. You can call the store and they'll let you know if an item is in stock, so you're not wasting your time driving to the store. I'm located in Panama City but have driven to this store 3 times in the last 2 months, because furnishing my home with quality pieces that will last is very important to me. Angela helped me arrange shipping all the way from Atlanta to Panama City, and it was definitely worth it due to how much money I was saving. The store looked great and was very organized every time I was there. I do wish they carried more soft goods like they used to, but I am extremely happy with their furniture selection. Most weeks, the entire store will be 50-60% off, which makes the drive worth it. I absolutely recommend this store if you know what products you want and are looking for. It's an outlet store, not a typical PB retail store. You won't have they layout/design or experience of the PB retail store, but you will pay at least half price for the product. I love outlets; I love Pottery Barn; obviously, I love Pottery Barn outlet. However, like every outlet, this is not the full service original store. They don't deliver any of the furniture - you have to call their delivery service, and that's a minimum fee of $150, so just remember to add that into the deal. Also, you have to have it out of the store by close of business the following day, so you need to be able to make arrangements to pick up when you buy it. I'd found a couch that I was seriously considering at 40% off, but needed feedback from the hubby, so decided to wait the two weeks until he could make the trip with me and my parents would be here with their truck. Two weeks later, the couch was only 30% off, and when we asked the manager, he said that they just changed it from 40% off the night before, and then gave a blank face as he walked away... so clearly, they're not trying that hard to clear the inventory, and they're not big in the customer service department. Like Lauren S said, however, they do have good deals on a lot of the other stuff, so as long as you're just buying stuff, not furniture, it can be a fun and easy trip. read more

PUMP THOSE BRAKES! This store is located in the Dawsonville Outlet shopping center. I was all excited about this store because it has just so much to offer. I especially love the cotton bedding and furniture. So I am just bouncing around between the various departments before it suddenly occurs to me that all is not well in the barn. First of all, I don't like it when stores present bedding without indicating specifics. If I see a bed with coordinating linen, I assume that it is a set unless otherwise indicated. That comforter set that you think you are seeing is actually individual pieces sold separately and will usually cost more than than an actual set. No, that is not a comforter, that is a duvet cover and you will have to supply the comforter. Duvets are absolutely useless unless they are a custom fit which doesn't exist because who is going to pay for a custom duvet when they can just purchase an actual comforter complete with shams and a bed skirt for significantly less. NO ONE! As I pull back and scan the store, I notice these obnoxious little signs all over the place, (next to the pillows, furniture, candles, accessories, literally everywhere!). The signs read "All Sales Final". I inform my friends and we are on the same page because we do not patronize stores that do not respect our right to change our mind. So, we pump our brakes, gather ourselves and leave. Bottom line, you had better know that you can absolutely not live without the item you choose to purchase because you will be stuck with it. Measure twice, confirm those colors and be absolutely sure! Despite a bad policy, this store has beautiful quality furnishings, bedding and decor and certainly deserves three stars. read more

The outlet is just ok - if you're considering an outlet store to be one of deep discounts on last years merchandise - this is not the store for you. I have a PB Card and I wanted to return a quilt I purchased. Since it was 34 days since I purchased it, they would only let me return it and purchase other store merchandise on THAT day. Even though i purchased it with my PB card, that is NOT considered a store credit. Not a good experience. Just something good to know. read more

In this case, we found a sofa pillow decorated with a print that showcased a Yorkshire Terrier that looked exactly like our little Peanut- sold! Just drove 2 hours to shop at the outlet on a Monday only to arrive and find out that they are closed for the day to do physical inventory. Seriously? During normal business hours? Absolute fail. So - for future visits - avoid visiting Feb 1st every year. It will be closed for inventory. Wish the 83 emails I received today about this super big sale they're having would have alerted me to this before I drove all this way. Total first world problems, and in the scheme of life really nothing that will affect my overall being, but a really bad idea for PB. Will be calling their corporate office. read more

Made the drive to Dawsonville to visit Tori Burch and Pottery Barn on February 4. Unfortunately, Pottery Barn was closed for inventory. What was even worse is that the workers were visiting and laughing when I approached the locked door, not really working at that time. I'm sure there were people in the back, but... First off, I love Pottery Barn. The Dawsonville outlet, however, leaves a lot to be desired. They have lots and lots of inventory so much so that it's disorganized and unkempt. I'm not sure how they're ok with this but presentation is extremely important especially when you are trying to move high end furniture and other wares. And goodness gracious, the back of the store where the keep the pillows, outdoor furniture, and rugs? Enter at your own risk. The sofas are strategically placed so close together that walking through to look at them is a safety hazard. 1.5 stars off for this reason alone. Now let's get to Customer Service (or lack thereof). I have yet to encounter a pleasant sales associate and most of the time, they don't even greet you upon entering or acknowledge you in passing. This is rude and makes you not want to do business here. I think I will stick to the regular PB stores. Also, I noticed that management has responded to a couple of positive reviews but is radio silent when it comes to feedback regarding their associates even though it seems to be a trend amongst these reviews. I love love love this outlet. So much, that I drive 2+ hours to shop here. If you're going with something specific in mind, you're going about it all wrong. You just have to go and see what they have and if they have something that's on your wish list then you lucked up. I promise you will find something...or a lot of somethings. So many somethings, that you may need a truck, with a trailer! Seriously, the furniture selection is huge with desks, sofas, dining tables, book shelves, etc. There is a nice selection of linens including, towels, sheets, bedding, etc. Tableware and serving pieces are always well stocked. And the Kids outlet is always full of good finds. Definitely a must see if you're expecting or just have a healthy obsession for PB Kids like I do. This location is easy to find and there is plenty of parking. I like this outlet because it is not a lot of walking. The staff is always friendly and eager to help. If you are looking for something specific, call ahead and they will try to help you. One of my favorite places to shop and I hope you love it too! read more

This review speaks only and specifically about RYAN, one of the managers at this location. After reading the other reviews, I felt it important to add my 2 cents worth. My husband and I visited this location 2 wks ago in search of some coastal decor for our redecorating. Great stuff and Great prices! We even bought 3 seagrass bar stools and one matching dining chair in hopes of finding 5 more. At the checkout, we asked the cashier if any more of the dining chairs were expected in, and she kindly checked on her computer and found 2 were expected in ~2 wks. She wrote down our name and number along with the item sku# in their "Client Hold Book", and told us to call in 2 wks to confirm delivery. Well, that was today. When I called and asked to speak with the same lady, I was told she'd just left for the day and wouldn't be back in til day after tomorrow. I explained to the lady who answered the phone the whole story of buying the one chair and waiting for the 2 that were due in today, and I asked her to check the sku# for me to confirm they'd arrived. She murmured she had just sold 2 of these chairs a little bit ago, but would check, and then put me on hold. When she comes back on the line, she tells me that it was the 2 that had arrived that she'd sold. Defensively, she says because there was no blue tag/hold tag on them, she sold them. Apparently, no one checked "The Book" before they sold them out from under me, and the original lady wasn't there to help me out! So much for putting your name on the "Client Hold List"!! Frustrated and angry, I told my husband "they sold them!!" to which he gets on the phone to explain In Detail when we were there, what we purchased ($550 worth!), and who we worked with, and that he had Watched this lady write down all our information in "The Book". Ryan picked up the ball and ran with it. He dug around until he found us ALL the chairs we needed and made arrangements to have them shipped from MI to GA for us to pick up at their store next week. My husband and I drove several miles out of our way to go to this outlet on our return trip from Florida. We were very disappointed. The rude store clerks were more interested in putting out new merchandise than helping customers. Don't buy anything you cannot inspect first! Unless you have dogs and can use the newly-purchased-overpriced-even-at-a-discount-linens for your dog towels or dog bedding. Very disappointed to get home with towels and a "new" blanket only to discover the towels had bleach stains & the blanket was ripped. None of this was disclosed and I wasn't aware of the option to open packages and inspect. read more

We had a horrible experience at the store. My husband and I along with our 3 year old visited the store at around 5.15pm today. We both had 2 big glass hurricane vases in our hands and we were walking towards the counter when my daughter accidentally bumped into a board in the middle of the floor and fell down. She was crying uncontrollably and my husband and I were in shock before we ran to her, there was a guy who was literally a few feet away from us who saw everything that happened and just chose to look away and walk away. There were 2 ladies at the counter who saw what happened but again chose to ignore what happened and continued with their conversation. My husband and I were both just helpless and we just kept the vases on the floor and ran to our daughter. She was crying uncontrollably and we managed to calm her down. But we were disgusted with the way the store associates handled the whole situation. We are disgusted with the guy who stood near me and didn't even offer to carry the vase till I attended to my daughter. DISGUSTING BUNCH OF PEOPLE. The 2 ladies at the counter were as bad, they chose to ignore and continue with their conversation. Horrible horrible staff!
