Primarily, because every single piece of clothing they sell MUST BE REQUIRED to say Aeropostale or Aero or Aerie on it in a hugely obnoxious way. I also cannot tell you why a store like this, time and time again, has such unfriendly, too-cool-for-school employees who - if you weren't looking right at them - you'd think they were reading a teleprompter in the most uninterested, monotone voice they can muster.. but I assume (though I've been told not to assume anything) that it's because they're actually high school students who couldn't give two sh!ts. (I have worked in a place like this.) Turns out, all was not lost today as I found a borderline-terrible hat (you know when something is so ugly it's cute? I tend to stick to the basic colors such as blue, black and grays so that it won't be too hard to cross match them in the mornings without too much thinking. (I know co-workers that come to work dressed like a Neiman Marcus catalog everyday, I just don't understand them.) Loft outlet quality reminds me of Target but their sizing runs a tad smaller than Target's. Their pants are cut smaller than Ann Taylor's and their accessories are much trendier than Ann Taylor which tends to be more classic. Upon entering the store a kind lady named Sarah immediately acknowledged my presence with a smile. Never having visited Torrid I immediately noticed it's a women's clothing store with a large selection of women's dresses, tops, bras and underwear. Sarah approached me and began to inform me of values, prices and quality of their merchandise. Another staff member joined us named Meghan and she helped inform me of more rebates, discounts and offers to make anyone's shopping experience at Torrid a great choice. After receiving such great service and support from these two employees it was easy for me to see why a gift card from Torrid is going to be a wonderful gift to give anyone.
