My wife and I did not visit a movie theater from *sometime* before 2018 until May of 2023. Having a child certainly changes your lifestyle, and counting on our son to be quiet and behave for 90 minutes was not something we thought would be feasible until now. We had recently gotten him to go away from the typical drivel he likes to watch on YouTube and actually watch the Trolls movies, so we felt decently optimistic that he would make it through Super Mario Brothers. It turned out, he did, and we were able to officially make our return to the movies. As for the theater itself, before our long movie hiatus, we had gotten spoiled and would only visit theaters with the nice recliner seats. I didn't even realize that Xscape was one of those theaters, but it turned out to be, which was nice. It's like sitting first class, but for only a few more bucks. Money is well spent when it goes toward being able to elevate your feet. We likely won't be at the movies again anytime soon, but it will definitely be sooner than 5 years from now. Next time it does happen, it will likely be here!

The instructors are warm and friendly, coaching with clear directions to call out the artist in even extreme 'left-brainy folks' like me. The class is small, making for an intimate class setting where no one ever gets lost. All of the materials are provided, meaning all you have to do is show up with a sense of adventure and a creative spirit.

We didn't host a birthday party here, but there were other parties booked. I don't know how much it costs, but let me say that the decorations were beautiful! I'm not sure if it was included or if the parents decorated themselves, but if you wanted to go all out for your child, you certainly can. The staff were also ALL super sweet and friendly! The place plans for everything, like rain. They had numerous umbrellas for patrons to use within the grounds. When it started to rain, all the staff were asking if we needed umbrellas, and one even was willing to run in the rain to get us one! When we were there, there was a baby shower happening in the small barn-looking building and a cooking class on the covered patio. So, we sat outside in the cold with some sun shades covers. It was a huge, open area. The sun was out, so it wasn't too bad. They could use some outdoor warmers or a fire pit. You go inside and order wine and food. They had limited options and didn't have any non-alcoholic wines. They had water and soft drinks for NA drinkers. No charcuterie since they had so many different events happening. There were 2-3 people manning the bar, and they seemed a little unorganized or critical of each other's help. It was strange. I tried a few samples of their rosè, one Chardonnay and a sparkling before I settled on 2023 Laren's Wild Rosé with strawberry and rose petal undertones. I liked it because it was less dry than the other rosé. Other than the baby shower and cooking class, it wasn't very busy on a Saturday afternoon. There were a few parents letting their kids run around the area and on the stage. There was live music inside. Staff would come out to pick up wine glasses and serve the flatbread that some people in our party ordered. The pepperoni pizza looked good. I ate before I got there, so I didn't try. I particularly wouldn't return unless it was a family or friend celebration of some sort. While not a vineyard, there are other wine bars in the city that offer NA options, a larger wine selection and food.
