    Sand room
    Liz C.

Went here on a whim due to a Groupon ad and discounted tickets and my kids were bored so we wanted to try something new instead of the typical arcade or bowling alley. We actually had a blast here even though we weren't able to ride the train since it was close to closing time when we went around the whole park area and ended at the show. Kids especially loved the sand room, arcade area with the virtual reality ride and the playroom with ball blasters. They also loved getting dressed up as cowboys and getting a cowboy hat and bandana. It's a nice tucked away large playground for kids. Recommend for ages 4-10. My pre-teen now wouldn't have such a fun time there and definitely eat before you come here or eat after.

Such a cool experience, but if you want to enjoy the escape room you have to come on the weekends. The Associates are friendly and upbeat. The interior areas are so well tempered. So much hands on adventures. This place is a blast. We ate the nachos and hotdogs with chili and cheese. They were made to order and Michael brought them to our table. Nice touch. The gun ball room is wonderful.?

Everybody seemed to have a Groupon except for me. I used a 10% off coupon from Bucker List. This was such a nice surprise of a place. I brought my almost three year old and he had the best time. They had these little cabins all around that had different activities as well as shows and even a big play room with levels and balls and slides that he could run around. Tomball is kind of far for us but since he had such a good time I plan on bringing him back!

We liked this place a lot! A lot of activities to do with kids and good for hot Texas summers as there are many activities in the conditioned areas and there are many shadowed areas too. Adults will also have some rest in a picnic area and cafe

The show where after you can take a pic with the Dino!

We checked out this place with a Groupon and loved it so much! Many activities are included with admission and some things here and there are extra but not outrageous! The dinosaurs were realistic, staff were kind and chipper, and my kids loved it! It was an experience unlike any other! We will definitely be back!

Great place to have fun with the kids. Plenty of things to do. My son and I go at 2-3 times a month and he has yet to get tired of it.

4 stars? Let me tell you why…read more We've been visiting The Woodlands Children's Museum regularly for the past couple of years, and overall it's been a solid experience for younger kids. It's a well-managed space that's clearly designed for structured, imaginative play rather than chaos. If you know what to expect, it can be a great outing. Pros: * The location right off The Woodlands Parkway makes it easy to get to without going far out of the way. * The museum is the perfect size--big enough to keep kids engaged, but not overwhelming for parents or little ones. * They host multiple events throughout the month, which helps keep things interesting beyond a standard visit. * Being able to host birthday parties here is a big plus and very convenient. * Pricing feels fair for what's offered, especially compared to larger, more crowded children's attractions. Cons: * The layout doesn't change very often; in two years, I've only seen one noticeable update, which can make repeat visits feel a bit repetitive. * Parking can be frustrating since the lot is shared with a large gym, especially during peak hours. * The shopping center itself is pretty outdated and could really use a remodel, which affects the overall experience. * This is not the place for very hyper kids who need to run freely--everything is more controlled and calm. * There are no concessions, and outside food or drinks aren't allowed, which can be inconvenient for longer visits. Overall, this museum is a great option for younger children who enjoy hands-on, imaginative play in a calm environment. It's affordable, well-located, and thoughtfully run, but best suited for kids who do well with structure. We'll continue to visit, just not expecting major changes each time.

As a 100% outdoor activity event center located in a flood-prone area, you'd think they'd have a plan. I don't blame the weather on them, but I do expect that they figured out how to create the best experience in spite of it, hours and days before, rather than just shrug and go, 'oh well'. The weather forecast was VERY confident that heavy rain would be there 24+ hours before - all local channels, Space City Weather, Jeff Lindner - it was a SURE thing. For example, bring the food under the tent BEFORE the time we were supposed to be eating, instead of wasting 45 minutes trying to rig a 'path' so we don't get wet waiting in line, even though the biggest problem there was water pooling and mud. The restroom is about a football field away from the only covered area we could remain, so they should have rented a port-o-potty to be closer, or have those plastic sidings to their golf carts to assist people in the mud and rain. Props to the Sheriff's Deputy that seemed more customer service oriented than the staff - he was telling us what was going on and seemed like he wished he could do more. Meanwhile they said they had a lot of staff milling about because the outdoor activities were canceled - not sure why they weren't pushing all the standing water out of the tent, or passing out food, etc. The store bought cookies they brought out were an after-thought, because they canceled the pre-arranged Funnel Cakes but didn't tell anyone. There were so many things canceled or cut short that still could have been managed with some preparation - like more tent siding they could drop down to stop rain from coming under the smaller tent. The food was good, but there was so little of it! I don't think they served the amount that was paid for, we ran out of some things. I can tell they're used to handling young kids, because they were treating us grown adults like we only eat 2 small pieces of brisket, 3 sausage slices and 2 tablespoons of potato salad! I was excited about the petting zoo - I'm sure the animals were safe inside a barn away from the rain. Again, if they had their golf carts prepped for rain, they could have offered to drive us back and forth to see them. There's a lot of risk mitigation that needs to be learned for an event facility such as this - if your event is expecting rain, cancel or reschedule!

I was looking for a banquet room venue for my daughter's sweet 16 party in December. I reached out, and they confirmed that the date I was interested in was available. I let her know approximately how many people and expressed interest in using her catering services. My daughter chose steak and potatoes, and I wanted to add a large charcuterie board. I was told that someone would get back to me in a few days with a quote price. I never heard back, and it's May. My husband brought up a good point thinking that there were probably a lot of big company Christmas parties in December, so my little party was probably not a priority booking during thst busy time. I get it, if that's the case. It's just not good to tell someone you will get back to them in a couple of days, then don't. It's May 3rd. Luckily, I found another place I like even more in Waller County to have her party. I understand choosing priority bookings, but I don't understand not following up at all, even if it is to tell me that my date was no longer available.

That said, the food was pretty expensive for what you get, which was a downside. I also didn't love that after already paying for admission, you still have to pay extra for VIP access to enjoy more rides and activities. It adds up quickly. Overall, it was still a fun and memorable outing, and my kids had a great time, but the pricing structure keeps it from being a full 5-star experience.

It's nearly the size of a major theme park, there are literally about 10 million individual light bulbs in the park, and hundreds of barns that range from small to massive. Will someone think of the electric bills?? What happens to this place the other 46 weeks of the year? Are they supplementing with weddings? Is the land paid off? What does maintenance look like? I want to interview the owners and ask them all the questions. But I guess I'll just have to settle for this review. Despite my awe and amazement, why only 4 stars? While thee food options are AMPLE, the quality could use a significant increase. It's all pretty much middle school cafeteria quality (at least what we tried). We wanted to take our son ice skating, and we ultimately did, but I almost passed out when I saw that it cost just a couple of bucks short of a hundred for the three of us to go out on some pretty rough ice. But overall, it's hard not to be pretty blown away with the sheer size of this place. And you can tell there is some pretty strong TLC poured into it because we did not see even a single bulb out the entire night.
