Hadn't been in years. Staff was pretty busy, so didn't get to us right away, or really explain anything without us asking first because of how packed they were. However, when we did ask, they were so very helpful. They were super attentive about replacing our paint water with fresh water to clean our brushes with. Julie and Jessica are two staff members who we found to be wonderful, and two others whose names we cannot remember. There were lots of colors to chose from, good music, and the second time we came in to paint, they had had a shipment of lots of new, wonderful things to paint, so I did! The painted items we brought home were gifts and big hits to their recipients. It's quite a fun thing to give one of a kind gifts. Thank you Cindy and Pottery Magic! I will post my honest experience and let people review the post and make their own opinion. It's the principle of the management and leadership of a small business, not the money. As I mentioned, your employee JULIE harassed my child repeatedly and out of respect for my child and other customers I did not want to bring it to her attention because I did not want to create a more uncomfortable environment. I did not get a call as promised to retrieve my items because they did not confirm my number was correct before leaving. When I inquired about the items, i was told by an employee it is "lost." I reached out to store owner because they have no manager. And when I spoke with the owner she assured me that the matter would be handled and gave me confidence that this would be taken care of with professionalism. However, it came down to emails back and forth which was far from professional. I do not believe these emails were sent by the owner however I can not assume. They made the effort to make it seem this was strictly about money and "ruining a mom and daughter business" but they are completely wrong, my son and I just wanted a fun experience during this pandemic. Unfortunately we will not be returning due to lack of care for customers and how they respond to situations as this. We had an unpleasant experience, told we were only making this about money and even stated they would just eat the cost instead of trying to mend a customer relationship for future visits and referrals. It is unfortunate when a small business does not care about universal issues that can build their reputation and clientele. I wish them luck for the future and their endeavors but buyer beware. read more

New owners! Liked Cynthia, but REALLY like Tracy and Janeen(sp?). Tracy worked there before she owned it, and I really loved her before Christmas 2018! Wasn't planning on painting yesterday, but daughter and I had a late breakfast date at Posh Bagel, and wondered in to PM after. The place was clean and inviting, and in no time we were painting and chatting cheerfully! Janeen was lovely as she buzzed around taking care of business, replacing our paintbrush water in plenty of time! I got a cute little "camper" piece, while my daughter got a spoon rest and then a shot glass for her upcoming move to a house with a roommate. Paints were easy to get to and identify. They let us eat and drink while we painted. Lots of paintbrush choices. Not crowded. Good music. Tracy came in after a while and she remembered me from Christmas! Brilliant! Can't not love this mother/daughter duo, plus Tracy's cutie daughter who joined the party at some point! There were even bottle fed rescue-kittens that made a big hit with all the guests. The mood of the entire store translated into friendships being formed, and all was well! Love this place! read more

Was sooooo disappointed, nothing what I expected. Chose to do the canvas painting for my 13 year olds birthday with 11 other girls, we walked in nothing was ready, then it took a good 20 min to get the girls paints because there was only two girls working entire room that was filled with people painting pottery.. And I thought they would teach the girls to paint something, NOPE paint on there own.. they were done in 30 min, then left with nothing to do! I do not recommend a painting party there, I paid over $200 and I could have done everything at home for WAY less.. very disappointing... read more

So the staff makes wonderful suggestions. They are really good at showing me new techniques I've never tried. I have a standing Monday evening appointment with myself to create something every week. I have been to this locations many times. I have to say I'm not too happy. Dogs and cats brought to the store. I mean what if someone was allergic? No where does it say that people who work there bring their animals on the website or a sign at the store. Not happy that my mom was almost bitten by a dog tonight. 5 star customer service and 5 star experience! My S.O. and I went here for our 5 year anniversary earlier this week and had an absolutely amazing time! Let me start off by saying the ladies that work here are beyond helpful and genuinely sweet! Any question you may have, no matter how complex or simple, they will and can answer it for you. They all are very knowledgeable in the pottery painting field. I consider myself to be a bit artistically challenged so I was asking the ladies who were working there quite a few questions and they helped me until I knew exactly I was doing. It was so nice that they kept asking me to make sure I was doing okay as well. The prices are very good here. Its $8 for an adult studio fee (includes paint, brushes, stencils, etc.). I'm not sure what the children's price is but it is less than $8. The prices for the various ceramic pieces vary from like $12 and up. Plates are around $12-$16 depending on size and design. Serving dishes and platters are around $24-$40. The coffee mugs are the cheapest, I believe. They also have tons of different children shows/movies character figurines that can be painted. It's awesome for kids who like Transformers or Cookie Monster, etc. They also have a few animal pieces such as figurines of dogs and cats. They always have seasonal and holiday related pieces. The variety of colors and designs is endless! Just about anything you imagine, you can do here with the products provided. I decided to do an ombre color style with fall colors. The main lady taught me exactly how to achieve what I wanted step by step. They had a several different design samples on their wall and I decided I wanted to do the lace stenciling design. The ladies gave me a binder to choose from any of the fabric stencils they had and then they assisted me in stenciling my design (you need about 2 people to do it). Overall, we were extremely satisfied with the service, atmosphere, and variety of products. I have no complaints at all about this location. I went back in December to paint mugs for my two best friends for Christmas. I went in with the ideas of what I wanted to do and was helped tremendously with one of the mugs I was struggling with. I didn't have time to finish both mugs in one sitting, so I went back the next week and they actually waved the studio fee for my second seating! There are quite a large number of projects to choose from, and the turn-around time to get your project glazed and returned to you is just a matter of a few days.
