All my nephew wanted to do for his 13th birthday was paintball...so there we were... First thing, I know absolutely nothing about paintballing. I really appreciate how detailed the Extreme Paintball Park's website is, how informative they were over the phone, and how simple the entire process really was. We had 2 kids under 18, 2 adults, and 1 spectator. We signed our waivers online before arriving and opted to go for the walk on Saturday AM session from 9 AM - 12:30 PM. We were able to get in 3 games arriving close to 11 AM. It is $30 per person and an additional $5 for no reservation, our spectator was able to walk on free. Paintballs and equipment are not included. For 4 people, we spent around $230. (Idk if this is normal but damn, this sport is expensive, y'all!) This was with the largest box of ammo (2000ct), one upgraded paintball gun, and 3 vests. Vests for women are included. It was a rainy weekend, so I was mainly worried about the park being super muddy, but it was upkept well. I was also worried about the paint staining my clothes, but it washed out of clothes and hair very easily. We played a low impact game which is meant for beginners and kids 10+. I like that they separate the groups so weren't playing with advanced players. Once you go through safety with the refs, they walk you over to your field, explain the game (they switch up the game every round), and get playing. I absolutely hated every second of this. It was so so so so so so painful and not fun at all. LOL my nephews loved it and cannot stop talking about it. The also gifted the birthday boy a t-shirt, which he wears all the time :) Overall, super fun experience for the kids. I will 1000% just drop them off next time. read more

***My review is based on having the entire place to ourselves. I can't speak to how this place runs when it is open to the public*** My group reserved this place for a team building day. It has been quite some time since I have paint balled and I forgot how fun it was in my younger years. The location is remote and centered out in an orchard field. The road to access the park is marked by a small sign, but could be missed if you're not paying attention. On arrival, they have a fairly large size parking lot. There is a large amount of seating for groups, which have picnic tables and the seating area is shaded by metal carport sheeting. The check-in area is a combination or four conex boxes. I highly recommend scanning the QR code and electrically signing the waver prior to checking-in. The bathroom situation consists of three porta potties. The day we visited, they were clean and seemed to be maintained. They also serve snacks and drinks. Papa johns will also deliver to the location. I have posted photos with current pricing as of the date of this review. They have several different fields to play different games. There are pretty cool barriers to utilize during play. Our referee was pretty cool. He maintained the rules at all times, but he wasn't overbearing about things. Our group had a great experience here and we will visit again. read more

We dropped off my son to a birthday party here last Saturday. It's a very cool idea to throw a kids party at a paintball park. This place is tucked away off a road in Modesto. They have a huge outdoor setup with tons of barriers for the players to hide behind, and have a few different options for how they do the matchups/games. They have have paintball guns with CO2 cartridges to pump out the paintballs quickly. These things are flying fast. They offer you protective gear to wear, so the shots sting less, & head gear is required. I'd love to take my kid back here again, it seems like a ton of fun. I'm a well known player in the community and every staff and people that I didn't know greeted me either because I played with them or they just heard stories about me and knew my face but anyways park is great staff are helpful I really with the older staff could come back, I personally think there should be an expansion so there can be a younger kid area Beacuse when I play speed ball when they walk out they shoot at the bunker and it bounces back on me to get me out then I would hear them laugh but I didn't let It get to me I also recommend more supervision on the children Beacuse the would interfere with a lot of my games as in shooting me or a player I'm going against But what many times when it happens staff do not notice until you say something about it so they supervise that specific group or individual child and they should also sell different kinds of paint instead of just the single one daynasty paint. I also recommend getting the MVP upgrade for more accurate shots an electric hopper I think they should add a different mask to the MVP upgrade like get a mask and get custom fans as a "refresher upgrade" for the mask/helmet Next for visitors they stand wherever they want basically and they just get in the way of shots and plays They complain that they got shot even tho clearly they were in the playing grounds in the middle of the map recording. Next the manager Mike very rude! He will accuse you until he confirms if you did it like as in "I know you fucking did it I'm not retared or slow I'm high functioning unlike you" overall just putting down the customer and the vibe to the park and if you try to explain he will argue even tho you either had it on camera or a great statement that explains everything. We will be coming back. Took my son and his friends here for his 13th birthday party. Booking was done online and is extremely easy. We had 5 kids and 5 adults, the staff was great and helpful throughout all the games. We had a small party and they put us with "beginners" in a public game. There were a few issues with people not using proper paintball "etiquette". The manager was on top of the behavior and after speaking with them about a continuous issue they went well above and beyond, (rarely seen in today's world) to make sure we had a good ext. Lots of large fields to play. It was my first time hosting and playing so I have nothing to compare this place to. But they rotated the fields and played different games each time. Can't recommend this place enough. Perfect to get out and have fun, even just a family day. Decent prices for parties too. read more

If I could rate 0 stars I would, the staff had a personal vendetta against me from morning til the afternoon. I was a graciously paying customer that played a lot of rounds until the two members of staff began to follow me and call me out for no reason during paint checks. Until I was able to speak to the manager who was unorganized and not professional at all, he decided to cut my wrist band off 10 minutes after speaking to me.. he was very indecisive and wouldn't listen to what I had to say. I really wanted to give them 5 stars but I felt I had to rate the overall experience. First off, the staff from management to the referees are fantastic. They are friendly and attentive. The rental equipment is decent, standard Tippmann classics. We had a few issues with equipment in our group that was promptly taken care of. The fields are fun and we were able to play on all of them. Now the issue I have is this, please enforce a drug/alcohol free environment. The parking lot is filled with dirt bags smoking weed and leaving beer bottles everywhere. The foul language and wanna be gangster attitudes of some of the players is annoying. It can be frustrating when you are having a group birthday party for kids and having to deal with these kind of people. All in all, we still had fun and I recommend this place even with the aforementioned issues. read more

They do a good job BUT if you bring spectators who watch all day, they don't care if you would like to use the big EMPTY field nearest the spectator seats. There were rarely any games played on that front field throughout the day. We asked multiple times and they managed to allow us play there 1 time ONLY. This was our first time at this park and it was a wonderful experience. The adults sat in the picnic area, we had tables reserved and it was 'calm' and clean. The tables were set up prior to our arrival. I had a pleasant interaction with every worker I came in contact with. They had smiles on their faces and were knowledgeable about the park and the events surrounding. Our group missed one of their rounds and one of the workers took our group out, without hesitation. The park was large and the adults and kids informed that this park was better than the one Santa Clara, the adults who didn't participate in the paintball felt the same because of the quite lounge outdoor area. Poor Buisness Practices My wife decided to use their black friday special to get my son a $100 gift card as adverited online as get one free admition when buying $100gift card. When I purchased the giftcard they didn't know anything about the special untill they contacted their owner or promotion department. They sold me the giftcard and gave me a free pass that said "one free admission bring your own gear or use ours followed by something redacted by a black marker. Today I took my sone paintballing for his Christmas present. When I used the free pass they said it was for people who have equipment not for rental. I pointed out "bring your own gear or use ours" then they had the audacity of accusing me of blacking out a stipulation on the card saying it was a max value of $20. I told them that is how I got the card on black friday and it was a special promotion. They would not give me free admission and only gave me $20 off. Seems like they like faulse advertising and accusing parents of trying to rip them off when I'm the one who got ripped off. Other than their poor buisness practices,the game was fun. Spent almost $200 and they lost a potential return customer for $15. read more

We had our son's 11th birthday here. He repeatedly said it was the best birthday he has ever had! I booked the LOW IMPACT party online and paid the deposit. No one ever reached out and when I would call I could never get through to someone. This felt super risky showing up not knowing whether they knew about our party or not. The website is a little glitchy so I was very nervous. Some of our guests showed up after the start time but we were still able to add them in. I will say to show up much earlier than your start time and try to push for guests to be on time as this cut into our play time. The ammo given did not last us until the end of the game and initially they forgot to give us the extra ammo for the 3 added players. The lady that counted our waivers made a mistake in counting one extra player which I was charged for. When another player showed up and I looked at our list of players it didn't add up. I asked for the waivers to count again and sure enough they were miscounted. She continued to say I was wrong in which she counted again and tried to count the last waiver twice. I made her count again as I saw her do that. She didn't like being wrong but still apologized. Since I had another kid playing I didn't pay since I was already charged for a kid that wasn't there. One of our kids had to swap out their gun as the ammo area was missing a screw and kept falling off. Now as far as our ref CHEETA, he was awesome and great with the kids. He made the rules clear and helped the kids that needed help. The kids all enjoyed the games and joking with him. And he offered to takes pictures with my camera while we played. He also did most the clean up at our party area. Thanks CHEETA ! Does the low impact hurt? Yes. And it still left me with 8 bruises. Did anyone cry? No. All the kids still had a great time. I decided to have my son's 9th bday party out here after my oldest son had a baseball party here previous! My 9 yr Old was a little reluctant about the "pain" of paintballing so I reserved a Paintball LITE party for him and 9 friends. It was only 100 degrees the day of his party so it wasn't too crowded! Lol Johnny was a great and patient ref who explained every step of the experience. They have different fields and different games to keep the kids engaged and excited! They had lots of water/cake breaks due to the heat and after about an hour of play, my group was spent! The misters helped relieve and cool the kids down too. Overall, very happy with the experience. This is the only place I play paintball since I moved to the Central Valley, and Extreme Paintball has never given me any reason to consider other parks. Friendly, accomodating, and attentive employees. Safety is their priority, which is the #1 thing you want in a paintball referee. They check each and every player throughout the day - in the waiting area and in the fields - to make sure that barrels are sleeved after each game and masks are fully worn AT ALL TIMES when out in the field. Ample netting around the waiting area keeps everyone safe. Excellent turnaround times during games, consistently around 5 minutes; this is not affected by the amount of people at the park, which is impressive! They even man each of the air stations to make it faster and easier for the rental players to fill their tanks. Skill separation is very fair. Beginners (rentals only and no bunkering), intermediate (open class, single-shot, and bunker tapping allowed), and advanced (open class, ramping, and bunkering allowed). All of the players I've met here are very friendly, a lot of regulars too. There will occasionally be very few players that don't call their hits and speedballers that take the game too seriously, but you'll find these people in any park. Price point is excellent as well. To save money, I purchased a membership pass because I play often. Everything at their store is very competitively priced, I've never seen advanced-grade paint so cheap anywhere else. And if you buy paint at their store, you get a free air coupon at their park! I definitely recommend this place to both starting and seasoned paintballers. read more

Thank you Extreme Paintball for a great first time! I came here yesterday with a private group (you need at least 15 people). It's $27 a person for rentals (gun, helmet, and pod to hold your paint balls),200 paint balls, and 7 hours of play time (9am-4pm). If you're a girl you get to rent a vest for free! Even though you get 200 paint balls, trust me that is not enough. I recommend buying a box of 2000 paint balls($40) and that's good enough for 2 people for the whole day. Two staff members will explain all the rules, take your group out to a course and act as the refs during your game. It's great if you get get 15 people so you can reserve a private party so you can play with people you know. The staff members here are so knowledgeable and friendly. If paint balling is on your bucket list, well now you can cross it off! Don't worry about the pain of getting hit. It does sting and you might get welts but that's a small price to pay for all the fun! Just layer up and you're good to go. Also the paint is water based so it will come out of your clothes but I would just wear old clothes just in case. So just grabs some friends and go go go.
