Any issues that may have come up, I didn't even hear about because they handled it all. We had a fusion Indian/Jewish wedding, and we wanted both our heritages to be honored, which they did beautifully. I know I would have had a much harder time without them. We were in a prime location, close to rides, and the food court. We could hear the live music from around the corner. Had a large shade tree and breeze at our location, and in close proximity to the restrooms. The Fair opened at 4pm, but there were people in earlier than 4, maybe 4H or other vendors and their families. Even though it was a warm day it wasnt too bad being at the booth with the breeze. They had alot of food vendors, sale booths and rides. It was a good size Fair and the turn out was great. I enjoyed the vibe and people we interacted with.

When asked, the young lady told us there was no handicap parking anywhere, which didn't make sense to us since the event was a huge on-going for years event and this was our FIRST time. The owners are required to advise their staff that there is handicap parking and where to go. My friend did get upset with the lady as we were there for a few hours and leaving where we entered as we exited and saw her. Her manager did not use her customer service and communication towards my friend but was disrespectful him and in front of other workers. There is a way to handle this issue via being, cool, calm, collective with the customers.

This, as you can imagine, is a huge issue when you are pouring for a fundraiser. Irritated guests makes for less money raised. I'm not sure how they need to fix it, but since it's been an issue for many years, something needs to be done. Besides that, our event last night, like many years past, ran smoothly. The owners were incredibly supportive--reliable, responsive, and followed through on every promise. One of the things we appreciated most was their flexibility. Unlike many venues that require you to use their preferred vendors for catering, bartending, or florals, August Meadows gave us the freedom to choose our own. That made a huge difference in creating a day that felt personal and unique. We also opted to have them handle the cleanup the following morning, and it was absolutely worth the extra cost--stress-free and seamless. The location itself is secluded and offers a wonderful sense of privacy. I highly recommend visiting in person to ensure it aligns with your expectations. As a small heads-up: the parking area is unpaved, and there's a bit of gravel to walk through, which posed a slight challenge for a few guests in high heels. Also, having a microwave in the clubhouse would be a nice addition. Other than that, our experience was outstanding. I would wholeheartedly recommend August Meadows to anyone looking for a beautiful, flexible, and well-managed venue.

Private location surrounded by trees has a large grass area, great gazebo in the round area set up for drinks, and a cement area ideal for dancing. Rooms available for bridal party to get dressed (wished it had AC) for the big day. Strongly recommend you check this venue out. The parking area is dirt (owner made sure it was watered prior so minimal dust). Getting from the parking area into the venue area there is small gravel so watch your step and footwear.
