Very tender and juicy with amazing flavor. We had the Grillades du Poulet Deux Cuisses. (Grilled chicken thighs). It came with a leg and a thigh as well as coleslaw and fries. The seasoning on the skin was spot on delicious! I'm in Vermont right now, and still thinking about it. We tried some empanaditas as well. They were small, but tasty. We really liked the spicy fry sauce that came with them. Of course, we had a side order of poutine to share between the 3 of us, which (as always) was a tasty gooey sloppy treat. You order at the counter, and they buzz you when your order is ready. The staff are fun and friendly, and were happy to speak English to my wife and daughter, while I practiced my quebecois. Great prices - much lower than everything in Old Quebec, and to be honest, much more delicious. Because it's off the beaten path, there is no line. So glad we came here on our last night!

There is some confusion here: the same people own a meat shop next door with the same name and somewhat limited hours. The restaurant side is open more. The chicken is great. I believe it is BYOB but I might be wrong about that; call if you're wanting to drink. It is the kind of food that tastes good after a week of traditional, heavy Quebecois cooking: spicy and healthy.

Americans familiar with the make-your-own-bowl dining situation will know how this place works…read more This is a fast food restaurant that I first spotted at the Quebec City mall food court. The passing trays looked amazing but we couldn't find seating to save our lives so we struck out to look for another location nearby. You start with a base: quinoa, rice, bulgur, fries (poutine), or lettuce. You choose a number of chicken tenders in one or two flavors, then choose from a variety of toppings. The staff here *understandably* is not great in English, which can of course change depending on where you go and when you come. This was one of our first stops before my high school/college French instruction "clicked on" again, so ordering was mildly stressful for our family. It would have been nice if there were some pre-designed bowl recipes to select from (like Cava, for example). For those of you willing to play the language barrier game, the sky is the limit in terms of how you can personalize your bowl. Like every Quebecois dining establishment, this fast food chain is head and shoulders above any American equivalent. Even their poutine (which can be messed up, I assure you) was among the top poutines I've eaten. This is a great place to grab a quick meal, as light or heavy as you require.

Though the chicken pieces were small, it was flavorful, and one bowl was more than enough for me. The ambiance was good, big wall size glass, ordered at the counter got the food, and had fun!

It is deep fried chicken that I was not like too much. But the server helped me to change the rice to Quinoa. I was really happy with this change. This order was $23 with NO extra charge for the Quinoa substitution. When we got the box, the sauce was poured on to my poke bowl, and the fried chicken was only a few pieces. Taste was a bit different from yesterday. For a $23 bowl, I felt a bit expensive. But I still like it.

I was surprised and a little unsure, but when I sunk my pearly whites into that enormous slice, I was super impressed! I ordered what I thought was a meat lovers pizza but turned out to be smoked meat (brisket) with pickles! Man oh man. It sounds weird and looked weird but you gotta try it! Crazy delicious! I was given 5 packs of butter in the bag with my soda pop and attempted to rub it on my pizza but I'm not sure if that was the idea behind that one. Not a fan of butter on the pizza but the actual pizza was amazing. Dough and light and really soft, fluffy. And the toppings all together made it the best pizza I've eaten. Good job Normandin! Keep up the great work!

I did enjoy eating the burger. The juicy and savory patty was balanced with the sweetness of the fig jelly and caramelized onions. For the burger's side, instead of going wih the fries we went with mac & cheese and paid extra. The mac & cheese is an easy recommend. Our other order was the Sausage poutine. The Sausage poutine was OK to good. I would not consider it among my favorite takes on Poutine, but it is still well worth the try. Service was excellent. Our waiter was bilingual in French and English and helped us with the ordering experience. He also occasionally checked up on our section of the restaurant conversing with different tables in English or French as required. The setting of the restaurant was interesting in that there is like a bar section bordered by like a balcony or terrace, and the more quiet section where we were seated facing outwards to the mall. The bathrooms are by the middle part where the guest entrance is. The walls and tiling of the place has so much character with picture frames, an arcade, and all the photos posted.

The evening when I came in for dinner, was kind of dead. Bumping music, rocker wall-art, anarchy and music decor: wide-ranged burger menu that offers everything from one topped with eggs, to fried onion, avocado and lots of variations. It is burger heavy.
