Realizing that scanning one photo was a fairly small task, I was not sure if they'd even do it. I had made a "perfect"poster, only to realize that a few of the images wouldn't print well. Instead of a smooth background, I got a huge pixelated version and was extremely worried about how it would look. The staff was extremely helpful and did an incredible job proofing the background to make sure. He spent quite some time teaching me how to use editing software to make sure that the printed poster was exactly what I had hoped. I loved that they sent you an email as soon as they finished so you can pop in. I was expecting the guy to have the posters out for me to look at, but he had already carefully wrapped them up so I could be in and out in only a couple of minutes! The other thing I could recommend is springing for a poster tube. They are only 7.50, but they make transportation so much easier! All in all I highly recommend this shop anytime you need a poster printed!

Jump forward to the first of October this year when I finally dropped that photo off. They were professional and helpful, working with me to get an estimate. I went ahead paying 50% up front and left with the understanding they would email me when ready. Since our discussion included them telling me all work was done in house,I didn't ask about when it may be ready After a month I called and was told it's usually 6 weeks. Seems long but hey, the photo is 140 so...after 7 weeks I called and was told it was submitted and should be next week. After 2 months and $200 I picked up my photo. I did not shop other services for prices etc or length of time. This photo is important to me so I went with Photographique because of reviews. However,and I told them this up front,the first photo is a test run and I have 10 more. While I'm happy with the work,it seems expensive considering the photo was in good shape to begin with. Add in the 2 months time frame and I'm discouraged from taking in more restoration work. However,if you have a cherished photo,don't hesitate to... Go!

Instead, the ring was forced off in a way that left visible damage to the front filter thread, which is exactly what I was trying to avoid by bringing it to a camera shop. When I asked why the lens had not even received a basic external clean, the employee blew on it and said, "there." The new filter does screw on, but the visible damage to the thread area and the dismissive service were extremely disappointing. I would not bring delicate equipment here again.
