We paid $2,300 to Bluebonnet Bartenders for our event near Austin. Some signature drinks were…read morepremixed with alcohol, so when we later learned that we also needed to purchase additional alcohol for another signature drink, my fiancée called Nancy to clarify what was included in the amount we had already paid. Our question was simple: after paying $2,300, why were we now expected to purchase more alcohol when that responsibility was not clearly explained? We were not asking for anything free or refusing to provide what was required; We were asking for a clear explanation of the scope of the service and our remaining obligations. Unfortunately, the response towards my fiancée felt dismissive and disrespectful, to put it lightly, rather than helpful. A professional vendor should be able to explain, calmly and clearly, which alcohol is included, which alcohol clients must buy separately, and why, especially after clients have already made a significant payment. The issue was not having to purchase additional alcohol. The issue was the lack of clarity followed by poor customer service when we asked a reasonable question. We would have expected clear breakdowns and basic courtesy.
