Extremely disappointed. If I could give negative stars I would. Please avoid buying tickets from…read morebanker smith for their supposed festivals. They are a total scam place. They say they have donated $570,000 worth of tickets these last 2 years. This place is horrible. They are basically writing off donated tickets to supposed festivals but this is absolutely a scam., They are writing off there farm expenses/bills. There is very little to a venue and no where close to a festival. Everyone, simply look up a google review of banker smith and their festivals and everyone is saying they are a scam. Too bad I never read any of these before we tried going to the lobster festival today. Paid for pre-paid parking in order to avoid the $20 at the gate but there was no one collecting payment for parking. No vendors, food trucks or anything selling various types of lobster, etc. All they had was a lobster plate (with a vey small lobster tail) for $22 and a pizza for $18. Nothing else. The activities consisted of a corn hole board. Nothing else. This is literally a scam. I hope this review helps at least one person to decide not to spend their money there. Absolutely no refunds it says on the website that you have to pre-purchase your tickets on. So, you already paid and no refunds even though it was false advertisment and they did not hold up their end of the deal. I will make sure I tell everyone I ever know to never spend money at any of their events. Even if 1 person listens, that's one less person they will be able to scam out of their hard earned money. (I have never ever left a bad review for any establishment) If I could give negative stars I would!!!!. DO NOT GET SCAMMED BY THESE PEOPLE!! The advertisements they have for their festivals are beautiful, I promise you, it's a big scam and you will waste your money, go else where!!!!! Please stop buying tickets for this scam festivals they are putting on. Low budget events. By not buying their tickets, it sends them a message that people know they are scamming people with false advertisements and hollow expectations. People have complained about hot air balloon festival -- no hot air balloons; peach festival with no peaches, etc. The list can go on. Don't let them get away with scamming people and taking massive tax write-offs because they say they are donating $300K/yr in tickets. This place is literally a scam/false advertisement.

The castle-like architecture, expansive grounds, and overall atmosphere make it feel like a destination rather than just a brewery. In terms of size and majestic ambiance, it reminded me of Brewery Ommegang in Cooperstown, New York. We stopped in for lunch on a weekday and still had about a 30-minute wait for a table. Fortunately, that wasn't a problem because we were able to enjoy a beer while waiting and take in the scenery. The property is large enough that exploring it becomes part of the experience. The beer selection is heavily focused on German styles, which was perfect for me. Whether you enjoy lagers, pilsners, bocks, or wheat beers, there is something for every fan of traditional German brewing. One of the fun touches is that many of the beers are available in liter size pours, adding to the authentic beer hall experience. The food menu is inspired by classic German cuisine, but it also offers a wide variety of other options, including some more upscale dishes. This makes it easy for everyone in a group to find something they will enjoy. Everything we ordered was excellent, with generous portions and high-quality ingredients. Beyond the food and beer, the atmosphere is what really makes this place special. The combination of the castle setting, beautiful grounds, German-inspired traditions, and excellent hospitality creates an experience that feels unique and memorable. Overall, this is far more than just a brewery. It's a destination worth visiting whether you're a beer enthusiast or simply looking for a great meal in a remarkable setting. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would gladly return.

However the women's bathroom was scary. There was a water leak that had clearly been there for a while as mold had started to form. No way could this have been overlooked or unknown to management as it was very visible
